There is a reason they say the world is now a global village. You can stay in your room no matter how remote the location is .Just have a good internet connection and the sophisticated skill to search online. You will see what's up.

How will someone in Nigeria carrying a B.sc in psychology go through the UK and think you can survive easily? But another guy is heavily armed with latest programming skillset and has juicy portfolios will do well. Both are in the same country but with different skills. They will never live the same quality of life.

If Mr psychology had researched he will know that his academic knowledge in Psychology isn't relevant as a migrant in the UK.

My point is don't rely solely on information from those struggling there.Do well to listen to those doing well and compare.Above all research online to understand the current state of the country economy.

It's research that will tell you that Austria is a good place for foreign educational ambition and from there it's easy to move to other nations.

My point is the idea of research cannot be over not at all.I am drumming it to you to develop a research mindset.

Many complaining maybe right but also a vast majority of them are trying to emotionally hoodwink you to believe that it's not their fault that they are suffering so you won't mock them.

Do you know how much a cyber security guy earns in the UK? Do you know the labour shortage in that space?

.

I know u will mention programming and tech. That's what u find online but the question u should ask ur self " how easy is it to find this jobs?"

Without UK experience it's not easy to break through with those tech skills.
While coming to UK I did data analysis and couple of other tech skills. But getting this job is another story.

u have just 1 year or max 2 years before visa expires?. So where is the time? Moreover you have bills pressing ur neck.

The easiest job to get was care assistant, cleaning, kitchen porter, gate men etc

Don't mention construction because u need cscs card to access any construction site before u now talk about ur experience in the field u want to go for.

See what u have in Nigeria in ur head is very different from what u see on ground.

Your thinking pattern is classical example of the problem we are addressing. Why would you base your decision on what people are saying? Why not engage in a more objective and constructive research.Go online to fact check about the economy of the country,The employment state, understand the in demand skill and ask yourself if you have it to exchange it for value.

This lazy mentality of acquiring information is the same bane of Africa's development in Africa.Leaders make decisions based on rumours and unverified third party information rather than established data( statistics).

There are Nigerians doing extremely well there and you careless to know what their opinion is? Is it every Nigerian abroad that's complaining? If No what are those few doing that makes them exceptional abi your Nigerian mind will say they bribed their way to the good life..... hahahaha.

We need fumigate your brain with better reasoning powder because like play like play them fit make you minister in Niger na with this mentality naira go be 7k to a dollar because you don't know how to effectively engage your mind to source fact and translate it to actionable insight.

See as u de bark like dog weh carry rabbies

We no de fight... Abi UK get better economy? Every indices and indicator look promising.

Now u said when I get there I will work and pay school fees when we on ground said its highly not possible without dependant

Now see the result... School withdraw their sponsorship.

When u fail to listen to those on ground, even to travel to visit those countries and see things ur self u didn't but decide to look for data with no practical experience. Then u are bound to error

I see. So you can only be heavily reliant on your savings most of the time. Thank you so much.

Totally be dependent on ur savings.. From the house, land u sold or savings before leaving Nigeria

The last pic here, represent what Kushites is on about, look at this man having to walk on the same road as cars with his very little kid. I wouldnt cost much to actually cover the drains and make sidewalks available

Most of this roads u see are one way road like.
See major street roads constructed by the governor... Hope u see sidewalk

I don't think we're fighting. There's a reason I asked a question lmao. I was confused. Thank you for the clarification though. We learn everyday.

As a student u hardly find jobs.. It's stated on ur visa that u can only do 20hrs and employers when they want to employ u will ask for a code to check ur work permit... 100% all employers will ask for this code and then they see 20hrs restrictions they won't further the employment. They want full time.

UK is not Nigeria where jobs are not organised. Even if it's to wash toilet u will recruitment process that's like bank recruitment process.

Any company that employ anyone without permit could be fine 60,000 pounds per person employed.

More also jobs for student no de.

This can be so frustrating honestly.Thats why it's always good you do your research very well before you even think of travelling especially for relocation purposes.

Which research do u need that is more than Nigerians in abroad telling our people that abroad is not easy. Don't sell properties. The next is "u are there advising us not to come" u are wicked u are selfish

I'm a bit confused, sorry if I sound ignorant. But these people look mature in age. Like late twenties early thirties, mid-thirties even. How does the economic crisis in Nigeria affect them? Do they depend on their Nigerian relatives to send them money for schooling? They can't get jobs in the UK then? If I hadn't seen their pictures I would have assumed they were teenagers or people in their early 20s. Or they don't have time to get jobs because their schoolwork is so time consuming? So long as you follow requirements you can definitely work on a student visa, even if it's just during vacations or just on-campus

First u speak like a child. This are MSC students and age doesn't define who go for MSC.

Secondly most msc student self sponsor their education. It's not easy to move outside and get job instantly as a student.

This is Abuja.

Why can't these useless state governors build their streets like this?

This is how a normal street looks in a sane environment.

Covered drains. Sidewalks.

It's not rocket science!

Shoddy job

Kushites:

This has nothing to do with the federal government.

Is it the FG that will come to your state and cover your filthy open gutters and build sidewalks for your pedestrians to walk on?

What then is the job of the state and local government?

Dont have high blood pressure. Since you cared more for the people u would have come down to abia state to protest why the previous governors allowed the state to rot

Aba has been at the far front of agitation and we wonder why is like this? cry
Instead of the military to keep hunting the youth they should turn their attention to those who loot the state dry because they are the root causes of agitation

Not up to 2 years the current governor came on board, aba is being transformed.

What have the previous governor that ruled the state for 16 good years did.

Why was aba allowed to rot away. Situation like this amount to treason to the federal republic of Nigeria, as the people of South East might feel neglected hence the agitation.

If you watch very well, you will see that agitation are always hot in areas where the governors are not performing in South East. The reason agitation was hot in aba and abia state is because of situation like this.

This story is not clear and your friend is so incoherent in his rants it induces a headache. How did he the IELTS exams with this kind of English he writes? Or was he exempted from taking it as a dependent? What is noice of battle? 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️.

Modified to add: Why are these logical gender people quoting me in their usual fashion and M.O of insults na? grin You people say you are logical, is it not logical to communicate with clarity, so you don't leave people scratching their heads or wondering what you are going on about, like the original post?

If you read the topic of the thread and then read the original post itself it makes very little sense. I expected to read a clear of what happened, why a marriage of 10 years ended, why he has to go back to Naija to the kids (I thought the kids moved as dependents too) etcetera.

Our official language as a country is English, we are schooled in English Language from primary to tertiary education, our local newspapers are written in English Language, our national news is broadcast in English Language on most TV stations. The least we can do as a people is communicate in basic and simple that are clear and easy enough to understand.

I wasn't joking when I said that entire post induced a headache and I am still wondering how he ed IELTS. The British government shouldn't even be subjecting us to IELTS having colonised us and for the reasons I gave above, but people like the OP's friend give them cause to. And that is why mediocrity thrives as against excellence.

As a dependant u don't need IELTS.
And please comment with empty. U don't know what it means to get to UK at this high exchange rate
