"Virginity does not guarantee heaven" Freeze says after virgin took to Twitter to reveal why she brags about her virginity

OAP Freeze has reacted after a lady took to Instagram to reveal why she boasts about her virginity.

Talking about virginity, Chinenye said:

I brag with my virginity not because it’s a standard for women before marriage, but because it’s a standard as a citizen of heaven for unmarried people.

“But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;”

??Ephesians? ?5:3? ?KJV??

Let no one deceive you that it’s just a standard for women and then you as a man decide to live in filthiness. “Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks.”

??Ephesians? ?5:4? ?KJV??

“Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.”

Reacting to her post, Freeze said:

Virginity does NOT GUARANTEE HEAVEN, don’t be fooled!

Christ called friends of the world ‘adulterers’. 99% of your pastors are friends of the world despite their ‘supposed’ sexual chastity.?

via >> https://onecornergizt..com/2019/03/virginity-does-not-guarantee-heaven.html

The lady was wrong for putting this thougth on air. Wrong though, not in its entirety.

OAP himself just use that occassion to brag; the truth is he was right by saying it will not take her (that's if she's an unbeliever) to heaven, yet, he was wrong by using it on the lady's thought.

He was wrong in that: the lady wasn't saying she is going to heaven, she said she is a citizen of heaven already. I think she knows her identity. Heb 12:22-24.

Now as a citizen of heaven: she recognizes the fact that the life of the kingdom consist in maintaining one's chasticy. Of course u don't expect her after being a citizen of heaven to go awhoring.

So when freez says it will not take her to heaven, he was totally wrong.
When freeze used d parable of d 10 virgins, he was equally wrong in that, every1 of them were preparing to meet the groom, b4 he will take them 2 heaven not that they are in heaven already. Besides, none of d 10 virgings would have make heaven if d proverbial story should b measured by Grace, simply bcoy they were all labouring, working, to be self-righteous.

Lemme draw d curtain here by saying: the lady was wrong for d usage of the word brag, while Freez was equally wrong in its entirety.

Just my opinion, i stand to be corrected.

That the devil is roaming about like a roaring lion looking for whom to devour should not instigate fear in us; nor should it be supposed to mean that the devil is a lion, and he has all the power and authority there is... Noooo, the devil is not a lion, neither did he has all power and authority.

We do have a lion; the lion have I come to know;

We do have a lion; The lion to whom all power and authority in heaven and on earth has been given.

FOR THERE IS NOTHING THE LORD CANNOT DO

That is just the truth, there is nothing the Lord cannot do, but that is not to say God will do virtually every thing for us. For there are some things that God will not do (not that He cannot do them).

In the garden of Eden, God has made everything perfect, and He asked the man to cultivate the land. After which God will bring increase.

Shortly: Man is to cultivate, God's is to give increase. And not the other way. God will not cultivate for man and also give increase at the same time.

This is not to debate whether God will do or not, but this is to remind us never to be ignorant of the devices of the devil in that, those things God will not do, the devil will like unto a speed of light offers to do them.

And giving in to the demand of the devil will of course brings about looming danger, for the devil comes not, but to steal, to kill, and to destroy.

Psalms 121:1-2 I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.

When in His mercy God leads a soul in the higher paths of sanctification, He begins by scrapping it of all self-confidence and to this end He allows our own schemes to fail, our judgment to mislead us. We grope and totter and make countless mistakes until we learn to mistrust ourselves and to put all our confidence in Him. Jean Nicholas Gruel.

The truth undeniably is that, self-confidence is good. It pays to be bold, strong and confident: for without confidence; fears will stripe us of many benefits.

However, one thing is been self-confident another is being God-confident.

Take a look at some of the saints of old; Many of them walked in the highway of victorious living; fought and conquers many battles not because they have the power or might, but because they simply put their trust and total confidence in God.

Moses for instance says: “…And he said unto him, If thy presence go not with me, carry us not up hence.” Exodus 33:19.

David says: Psalms 16: 8 I have set the LORD always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.

“Woe to any man that put his trust in mere flesh”.

Not until we come to the end of our self-life variants such as self-pride, self-will, self-sufficiency, self-trust and most importantly the weed of self-confidence, and our holy hands raised to God as a sign of helplessness on our path, and our kneels bowed down before His Grace and become God-confident (putting our total trust in God), our so much anticipated victories over battles and challenges of life may be short and forthcoming. ~Agboola Oluwafemi~

SEE THIS:

Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil. Proverbs 3:5-7.

Getting rid of self-life confidence/pride/trusts requires; we recognizing with deep and devoted reference the effectual working of the power of God in us. Humbly submitting and subjecting our total will to God, putting God first in everything, and becoming obedient to the will and the leading of the Holy Spirit.

When we humbly trust, let go of our self-life pride, and eventually lay on God our total confidence, then “God gives us more grace” James 4:6 for breakthrough in everything we do.

A man of faith was trapped by flood in a three story building. When the water was very small, certain swimmers (rescuers) came to the house to offer him a rescue hand, but our man on the line of faith refused saying God will deliver him. The water rose, He moved to the 2nd floor. Some set of rescuers came again this time around in a canoe, offers to rescue him again, but on the ground that God will save him refused. And lastly the water rose to the last immensely, and our man was moved to the last floor, rescuers came again, but this time around in an helicopter. Our man refused again saying God will save him. Unfortunately, the flood arose and overwhelmed the house and He died.

When He got to heaven, He asked God, why He didn’t save Him.
God told Him, the rescuers that came for him, the canoe and the helicopter that came to save him, who did you think send them.
Story source: You can win; By shiv khera

Likewise is the story of a young woman (name withheld) who was very sick unto the point of death. Her Pastor told her she needs not medication but with faith God will heal her. At many points in time did her husband bring medications to her, of which she frankly refused saying God will heal her. Her health continues to deteriorate and she eventually went to an early grave on the ground that God will save her.

THINK ABOUT IT: What kill them? Is it Faith, is it Ignorance/self-confidence, is it God who neglected them?.
Why did Paul asked Timothy to add little wine because of his illness? 1 Timothy 5:23

A SHORT NOTE:
DO NOT BE IGNORANT OF THE DEVICES OF THE DEVIL:

Many are ignorant of the fact that; what they called faith (based on the foregoing) is not really faith in every sense of it, rather, it is simply tempting God. Matthew 4:7 …Thou shall not tempt the Lord your God.

Even then on the ground of tempting God, we still see God working in every possible way to deliver them from such erroneous premonitions. Take for instance the man that was trapped in a house by flood, of which help came to him at every point in time; look at the woman that her husband tries at many point in time to get her treated with medications etc., one would see that the understanding that they lacked was that; the God they relied upon has been the one sending help to them; He has been putting up to them the way out through the various helps that comes their way. Unfortunately, they were so blinded to see it. And that is true of many people; who has on the ground of faith destroyed their own life. The truth indeed is that; people perish, because of lack of Knowledge Hosea 4:6a. We see empty pride here; for it takes just a little step of faith out of the house and perhaps a lit sip of medication to set them free.

GOD HAS SET BEFORE US AN OPEN DOOR (Revelation 3:cool

God, the bible says every good and perfect gifts comes from Him… James 4:17; hence He is never in the business or acts of neglecting His own People; Jesus saying; I will not leave you comfortlessly, I will come to you (John 14:18).

Hence no matter how grave or how great a situation may be God will always set an open door of opportunity and breakthrough. But one thing is God setting it, another is we seeing, understanding, and exploring that which God has set before us.

IT TAKES HUMILITY TO UNDERSTAND THE WAYS AND THE THINGS OF GOD” James 4:6.

Finally, Not until we come to the end of our pride-like-faith; and seek in humble submission or ask in deep and devoted reference; one may never receive the understanding and exploring grace; (For God giveth more grace to the humble James 4:6) neither will enlightenment as to see the path to take comes to us.

ND: Faith without work is dead: A step out of the flooded house and a little sip of medication would have gotten them out of the messy roadway to death.

Think about it

Grace to you.

“Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?”

1 Corinthians 2:10-16 … even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God…. the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

The Mystery of Jesus Christ’s descent into hades after His death on the cross has been (for a long time) of stern discourse among believers; many a times has it led into heated debate and argument. Simply because the reality of the descent is in obscurity to many, and effortless to unravel it has made many to disagree and deny it. The truth is, even the most learned Sage will be reduced to silence if in his intellectual estate attempts to pry into unraveling the mystery of the divine descent.

Without giving due and deep reference to the living Word and the revealing power of the Holy Spirit, by reasons of books not inspired, by reasons of intellectual and presumptuous writings of scribes and theologians has some persons come to reject and deny the mysterious profound reality of the diving descent. “For no Man Knoweth the Things of God except the Spirit of God.”

DID JESUS GO TO HADES OR HELL

The Apostles’ Creed, the Athanasian Creed and some other writings asserts that Jesus descended into Hell after His death on the cross and that he rose up again the third day for our salvation.

But is that in line with the bibles teachings?

The Simple answer is No;

Rev20:14 Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death --- the lake of fire.

It should be noted here that Jesus never descend into Hell (the lake of fire or eternal fire, which was made for the devil and his demons; Matthew 25:41, Rev 19:20-21); for the scripture bears no record that anyone has ever been there. However, we see in the scriptures that Jesus rather went to Hades which is the region of the dead.

Matthew 12:40 For just as Jonah was in the belly of the huge fish for three days and three nights, so the Son of Man will be in the heart of the earth for three days and three nights.

Romans 10:7 …"Who will descend into the abyss?" (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead)

Acts2:24,27 Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it. Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.

Here, David was speaking prophetically about Jesus; these words are alleged proof of Christ’s descent into the region of the dead and his resurrection. Showing that hades cannot hold him down.

Haven’t Affirm that Jesus Never go into Hell but to Hades, the Question now is WHY?

Ephesians 4:9-10,

(Now this, "He ascended" --- what does it mean but that He also first descended into the lower parts of the earth? He who descended is also the One who ascended far above all the heavens, that He might fill all things.)

Before the Descent and Ascent of Christ, the hades is the region to which the spirit of the dead went to. The scriptures affirms that the soul of the saints of the old who has never heard the goodnews nor seen the light of Christ (But partly and afar of) went directly into hades. Of which without the light/life of the Glory of Christ shining on them, they cannot be set free.

He went to Preach to and to deliver the Spirits of the Saints of old

1 Peter 3: 19 …by whom also He went and preached to the spirits in prison,

1 Peter 4:6 For this reason the gospel was preached also to those who are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.

Prophetically, the saints of old through the revelation of the Spirit have beforehand seen and prophesy of this great Visit, that brings deliverance from the power of hades.

Isaiah

Isaiah 9:2 The people who walked in darkness Have seen a great light; Those who dwelt in the land of the shadow of death, Upon them a light has shined.

David

Psalm 16: 9-11

9 Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices; My flesh also will rest in hope.

10 For You will not leave my soul in Sheol, Nor will You allow Your Holy One to see corruption.

11 You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.

Isaiah 24:8 Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, The LORD mighty in battle.

Accompany the so much intense discuss of the divine descent is another reality of great importance which is that, Christ fought a great battle with the devil and his minions.

Humanly speaking, the hades/devil cannot willingly let go of his captives, Jesus visitation heated up a great battle.

Isaiah 49:24-25

24 Shall the prey be taken from the mighty, Or the captives of the righteous be delivered?

25 But thus says the LORD: " Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, And the prey of the terrible be delivered; For I will contend with him who contends with you, And I will save your children.

The Apostle Paul's testimony by the revelation of the Holy Spirit

Colossians 2:15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

Another version of the scripture (ESV) says; He disarmed the rulers and authoritieswith a note pointing to demonic rulers and authority. Jesus therefore engaged them in a fierce battle, he made an open show of them, he triumphed over them. Glory to God.

The result of the battle?

“O Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?"

By the power of the Holy Spirit, Jesus Christ, haven’t spoiled principalities and power in his death was raised up the third day just as he has promised. He did not only come out of the grave, but a host of the saints of old haven’t heard of the gospel.

The Captives of the Mighty were delivered;

Matthew 21:50-53

50 Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost.

51 And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;

52 And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose,

53 And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.

THE IMPLICATION OF THE DIVINE DESCENT

Considering the foregoing, the following are therefore the implication of the divine descent.

1. If Jesus did not descend, the saints of the old will definitely see decay, their hope will be dashed, and the light of the glory of God may never shine on them. And besides, a great host of them did He take to be with him in heaven. (Psalm 16:9-11, Isaiah 9:2).

2. The resurrection of Christ gives hope to the believers; had it been never came back from the dead; then the hope of the Christian faith is dashed. His appearance to the apostles after his resurrection further strengthens their faith and the work of the ministry.

3. The resurrection of Christ (Ascension from hades) brings about gifts for the believers for the perfecting of saints and edification of the Church.

Ephesians 4:8-12

“Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.”

4. Believers now have dominion authority over principalities and powers in the name of Jesus. The

Conclusively; another associated debate of this great descent is the revelation in the book of Psalm 24:7-10. The discuss of which is that, the gates and the everlasting doors as mentioned prophetically by David are the gates of hell; in which when He (Jesus) was descending uttered the empowered revelation. Some writings and creeds also ed this. Additionally, another important discuss on this verse is that, it represents the entrance of the ark of God into the holy city (2 Samuel 6:1-23, 1 Chronicles 15). Furthermore, it also represents the ission of Christ into the human heart and lastly, it represents the ascension of Christ into Heaven.

Psalm 24:7-10

7 Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.

8 Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle.

9 Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.

10 Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory. Selah.

Be as it may; considering the foregoing and the verses above; without any profound theological analysis I shall state that; Jesus had just won a great battle making Him the King of Glory, The Lord, who is mighty in battle, and following Him is the host (congregation, crowd, multitudes) of saints he had delivered of which it can be rightly said that He is the Lord of Hosts.

ably, of Jesus ascension into the heavenly, I shall say that the gates of hades cannot be the ancient gates neither the everlasting doors the doors of the hades and death. For death and hades the scripture says shall be swallowed up in victory.

Revelation 20: 13-14

13 And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, Death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them, and they were judged, each one of them, according to what they had done.

14 Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire.

I was ALONE WITH GOD; Then He gave me a revelation. Oh, it was Wonderful! He showed me an EMPTY CROSS and JESUS GLORIFIED.

I do thank God that Christ is no more on the Cross says Smith Wigglesworth. It was there that He bore our sins and our curses(...)

He became curse and sin for us that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him, and now, there He is in the glory.

Stephen:Acts 7:55-56 ..."Behold, I see the heavens opened up and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God."

PONDER ON THIS:

IS JESUS STILL ON THE CROSS?

As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness so shall the son of man be lifted up, and those that look up to him shall be saved. John 3:14-15.

DO I NEED TO BEHOLD THE CROSS AGAIN OR THE GLORIFIED JESUS?: For some people do say not until you behold the Cross, you can never really experience genuine salvation; divine healing etc.

1 John 3:1 Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.

Becoming a child of God is quite easy; Romans 10:9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”, after which God release the spirit of his dear son into your heart calling God Abba Father Romans 8:15.

The major purpose for which God decided to be identified with us, wherein we called him our dear father, is for the redemption and the salvation of our souls. And following this great blessing of salvation comes many spiritual blessings.

Ephesians 1:3 Blessed [be] the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly [places] in Christ:

1. ACCEPTED IN THE BELOVED
Ephesians 1:5-6
5 having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will,
6 to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.

At the very core of the Christian faith is the believe and an established truth of being born of God; becoming a child of God, and an heir to the throne of Grace and Mercy. Of course, to an unbelieving mind, this simple truth that Christ has wrought for us in His death and resurrection may sound heretical and offensive,. However, the Biblical coupled with the realities as seen in the manifestations of the sons these days entirely justifies this plain truth.
I considered this to be a blessing considering the nature of God (whom is our father), and the kind of identity and authority that is on us.

Further note:
The fall of man brings along with it the outright rejection of mankind;
Romans 5:12 wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death ed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

However, redemption comes to all in Christ Jesus:
24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

In Christ Jesus who is the beloved of the father have we received forgiveness of sins, justified, accepted, glorified and sanctified.

NOTE: While Jesus was on earth, he was the only begotten and beloved son of the father, John 3:16 “…That He gave us the only begotten son…” Matthew 3:17 this is my beloved son, in whom I am well pleased… however, after His resurrection and accession “every one that has come to believe in Him becomes a beloved child of God.
FURTHER STUDY: Ephesians 1:3-19, Hebrew 2:10, Mathew 3:7, Gal 4:5-6.

2. A BLESSED LIVING HOPE

Every Religion has its various promises on the possibilities of living in paradise or having eternal life. Many of which are a hope that can only be received through the undertaking of various religious laws and works. Failure to therefore act obediently to the dictates of religious law connotes everlasting condemnation.

However, the Christians faith promises a much greater and distinctive hope which was established in Christ, through the Grace of God. “A living hope”; A living hope is that hope that never dies or expires, a hope that will always be established.

The Christian Hope is a living hope for reasons being that:

a. It was promised and given by God
Titus 1:2 In hope of eternal life which God, who cannot lie, promised before time began,

b. It promises an incorruptible inheritance
1 perter 1 : 3-4
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
4 to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you,

c. Testified to by Christ and the Apostles; John, Peter, Titus etc.
John 11:25
25 Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live.
1 John 5:11-13
11 And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.
12 He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.
13 These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.

In Christ Jesus do we then have a living Hope, We shouldn’t therefore live our lives with the fear of the rapture or having the mindset of the possibilities of going to hell, for in Christ have we been justified, not condemned nor judged.

3. PARTAKERS OF THE DIVINE NATURE
2 Peter 1:3-4
3 …as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue,
4 by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

In Christ Jesus, we are not whom we used to be, we are a different class of men; our old nature is gone, we have a new nature which is not carnal, but divine through the working of the Holy Spirit; A god like nature, a supernatural and spiritual class of being.

2 Corinthians 5:17
17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have ed away; behold, all things have become new.

By the power of His divine nature in us, we are a class of men that:
Are seated with Christ in the heavenly places; Ephesians 2:6; by the working if His mighty power in us. We are therefore in the place and position of authority and power.
We are no longer the likes of men that lives on luck and chances; rather, we command things to happen by the working of Gods faith in us.
That heals the sick, and cast out demons by faith and without any iota of fear.
The way we see things are different now: we see things from the spiritual perspectives or through the eyes of faith. 2 Corinthians 4:18.

4. ABUNDANCE OF GRACE AND THE GIFT OF RIGTHEOUSNESS
John 1:16 And of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace
Romans 5: 17 For if by the one man's offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.)
The Christian life is a life without measure or limitations; this is because it is a life full of grace.
Grace has dimensions James 4:6; Not only are we saved and made righteous through the working of the grace of God, but we have grace greater down our sins (for forgiveness), grace to do exploit in Christ, Grace to heal, and cast out demons, grace for greater opportunities etc.
2 Corinthians 5:21 For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
Righteous are we made; we who are once sinners. Not because we work, or fulfill the law, but by Grace.

5. THE GIFT OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
Galatians 4:6 And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, "Abba, Father!"
Ephesians 1:13 In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise,

According to Acts 10:38; it is not ambiguous to say that without the presence of the Holy Spirit in Jesus, He wouldn’t have made much impact and of course successfully carry out the fathers mandate on earth. “... He went about doing good…”

Therefore, to such and one that has acknowledged the presence and the working of the Holy Spirit and subjectively surrendered to the dictates and the leading of the Spirit would the life of Christ worth living, life in the Spirit becomes life with endless possibilities.
The presence of the Holy Spirit in the life of a believer necessitates the following virtues;
The enablement of the fruits of the Spirit, the gifts of the Spirit, Quickened mortal bodies, the love and peace of God, wisdom, knowledge and understanding etc. All these and many more are the benefit inherent in the life of a believer that has come to the knowledge of the indwelling Spirit of God in him.

FIVE HIDEOUS PROFANATIONS THAT HAS CREPT INTO THE CHURCH

The third and the fourth will surprise you.

The church should not be confused with large and small beautiful cathedrals, temples, or terbanacles where we gather together often times for fellowship. Rather, the church is the body of Christ. The assembly or the gathering of believers in Christ Jesus.

Hebrews 12:22-23.
22 But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, to an innumerable company of angels,
23 to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are ed in heaven, to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of just men made perfect,

A brief study of the book of Acts shows that multitude became a member of the church of Christ not because of any other gospel, but because the gospel (The message of the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ) of Christ was preached unto them by the apostles; the gospel which is always accompanied with mighty signs and wonders.

Acts 4:31
31 And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.

Acts 5:14 -15
14 And believers were increasingly added to the Lord, multitudes of both men and women,
15 so that they brought the sick out into the streets and laid them on beds and couches that at least the shadow of Peter ing by might fall on some of them.

From the above verses, obvious is it that the apostles prayed, speak with boldness, healed the sick and as a result of this many people were added to the church of Christ.

However these days entirely, otherwise is the case, for the devil has introduced various sacrilegious acts to the church. And unknowingly for the church, just in a bid to bring crowd or more to itself has embraced them.

The following are therefore some of the hideous profanities that has creepily entered into the church:

1. SELF-DENOMINATIONAL PRAISE
This is perhaps the greatest disease that has crept into the church (Knowingly). It is a demonic tool that is meant and is actively performing the role of division in the church (the body of Christ). People from various denominations are not endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit again:

“making every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace” Ephesians 4: 3.

Denominational Praise such as “My/Our denomination/Church is the most bible believing and teaching church, “The most praying denomination”, The best teachers and preachers of the word, etc. As sweet as the words are, little do we know of its belittling, and dissociative power, and its greater negative influence on the unity of the church. As a result of this we see churches creating demarcations or having nothing to do with other churches; some even went as far as disallowing their to marry from another denomination.
Self-denominational praise majorly would I conclude by suggesting that “the Motive underneath is plainly and mainly to bring crowd to the church/denomination. A deceiving tool of the devil in the heart of the church.

2. COMEDY GOES TO CHURCH
“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and onishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. Colossians 3:16”

I have resolved not to say the days when men rejoice in the Spirit with overwhelming happiness and joy has disappeared into the thing air of no return, of course not, but I recognized a lessened development due to the prevalence of comedy in the church assemblies.

The experience of a hollow and longing heart that is often filled with joy divine after a profound study of the word, soul raising praises and prayers is no longer embraced, reason being a disparaging believe that; people will tends to forget their sorrows through comedy.
Saddening is it to see and to know that the alter of God; the place of the presence is being profane by the presence of jokers and fun makers who are called upon just to make jokes, funs, and comics so as to make people laugh. To make matters worse, some even go as far as making jokes, comics and funs from the Word of God.
Why would churches allows comedic activities in the church of God; I would be partial by suggesting alone that “it is to make people laugh, or to forget their sorrows and to improve their health”; but without hesitant and doubt, I would rightly say it is to bring crowd the church.

3. BUYING AND SELLING
John 2:13-16
13 Now the over of the Jews was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
14 And He found in the temple those who sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the money changers doing business.
15 When He had made a whip of cords, He drove them all out of the temple, with the sheep and the oxen, and poured out the changers' money and overturned the tables.
16 And He said to those who sold doves, "Take these things away! Do not make My Father's house a house of merchandise!"

Creepily, and unknowingly, the church has stylishly embraced some form of buying and selling, most especially during worship hours and many see it as a normal thing without any big deal. A malady that our Lord Jesus Christ frowns a lot about.

If not buying and Selling; what then should we call this?:
A crusade where white handkerchief, anointing oil, holy water etc. are being sold (Mostly at higher prices) for people to get healing or different kind of miracles. It makes me think whether Jesus ever collected a penny from anyone in return for a miracle. A worship session where the preacher’s books and others’ are being sold; you see people exchanging money with the ushers in other to buy a tape or calendar etc. especially, when the worship experience is still ongoing.
The truth is this acts in worship distracts true worship experience. (Worshiping God in Spirit and in truth).

4. DISGUISED MIRACLES
Indisputably, the place of miracles, signs and wonders cannot be overemphasized in the building of the body of Christ. It showcases the divine presence, and the availability of the movement of the power of God. Through miracles many people were being added to the church:

Acts 5:12-16
12 And through the hands of the apostles many signs and wonders were done among the people. And they were all with one accord in Solomon's Porch.
13 Yet none of the rest dared them, but the people esteemed them highly.
14 And believers were increasingly added to the Lord, multitudes of both men and women,
15 so that they brought the sick out into the streets and laid them on beds and couches that at least the shadow of Peter ing by might fall on some of them.
16 Also a multitude gathered from the surrounding cities to Jerusalem, bringing sick people and those who were tormented by unclean spirits, and they were all healed.

Addition to the church (the body of Christ) some of these days are premised on falsehood; a disguised or pretending kind of miracle, actualized through a payment to some set of actors who after receiving the doom of their life acted accordingly, by pretending to be blind, lame, mute, deaf, sick, demon possessed etc.; of which after the laying on of hand of the falsely anointed and empowered minister; plunged out of the pretense estate to normalcy.
This has now begun to cunningly become the other of the day. Painfully, the undiscerned and veiled church also burst into joy and awe, praising their pastor and his god.
Finally, among many other things, yet the greatest of all, which I presumed to be the reason for this sacrilegious act, is mainly to draw crowd to the church, followed by such personal effects as fame, popularity, riches and wealth etc.

5. PROSPERITY GOSPEL
The truth indeed is that, the bible never goes against believers having riches and becoming prosperous even in this present world. And it is never in the wish of anybody to be a failure or live in abject poverty. Consequently, I had naught against the gospel called prosperity other this; “it has so much penetrated into the church that the minister of this end time age had also been shifting their focus from the real thing which has greater eternal value to the less”. The real thing simply is "the message of the cross", the graceful gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (The message of the death and resurrection of Christ).

2 Timothy 4: 2-4
2 Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching.
3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers;
4 and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.
A revealed lukewarm church:
16 So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth.
17 Because you say, 'I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing' --- and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked ---.

The Laodecean Church, a very rich church thought since they have riches wealth and power, then, they have need of nothing again. To them, riches bring satisfaction, it helps to see, it covered their unclothedness, it banishes miserableness, it brings confidence etc. however, otherwise is the case when our Lord Jesus Christ enlighten them, making them to see that their misplaced priority in riches and wealth rather brings about wretchedness, miserableness, poor, blindness, and unclothedness. They simply don't understand the joy therein in possessing nothing.

Suggestively, considering the foregoing; prosperity gospel, beneficial as it may be, brings about a disease I called “Tyranny of things”: Things are tyrant because of their dispossessing nature. Right inside every man is a central shrine that only God dwells.
However, the acute desires of men only to possess or have, or perhaps the acute fixation of man’s mind on worldly things rather than the things of God has in one way or the other quenched the thirsty soul of men for God, thereby taking the central shrine which belongs to God, that is, dispossessing God of His central position in man’s heart.

SEE THIS: PREACHERS WHO ENTERTAIN, TEACH PROSPERITY GOSPEL HINDERS THE CHURCH: A BAPTIST PASTOR https://kingdomfacts..com/2018/05/preachers-who-entertain-teach.html?m=1

Hence, the true experience of joy divine, unwavering assurance of eternal security and salvation, and a lively hope that often accompany a sincere worship experience is often times missing.
In churches where prosperity message is embraced, the only prayer (majorly) is that of possessing riches, being prosperous and successful. There is neglect on the side of praying for mission work, missionaries, the country, the unbelievers, ministers of God etc.
Just as before, I can haply say among many other things “Prosperity and success gospel also necessitate crowding the church and this cannot bring a true experience of salvation.

What then is the way out?
Without any profound theological analysis, I shall shortly suggest that:
The church should “go back to the laydown foundation” of the apostles as recorded in the epistles. The true foundation of radical evangelism, unity of faith and of the spirit, love for the body of Christ and the lost souls.
To the ministers who are seriously bent on increasing hip in churches would I say should neglect worldly varieties and focus on the true teachings of Christ. As touching signs and wonders, they should be patient, humble and obedient mostly to the leading of the spirit. What God has wrought in the life of the generals of the past and the few present ones, He would do again.

Philippians 2: 8-9.
8 And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.
9 Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name.

Conclusively, for a true worship experience to take place, for the joy define to be restored, for the message of the gospel of Christ to quickly spread, for true miracles signs and wonders to take place; the church of God must look inwardly and rid of herself these sacrilegious acts that has so much entangled her; following the true steps and paths that has been laid down by the apostles.

IS GOD NOT PARTIAL?
In view of the mighty waves of signs and wonders that God wrought through His generals; some known saints of old and the few present ones, one may ask:
Why do some people find God in a way that others do not? Why did God manifest His presence to some and let others struggles in the half-light of imperfect Christian experience?

MEN OF LIKE ION
James 5:17 Elijahs was a man subject to like ions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months.
Acts 14:15 And saying, Sirs, why do ye these things? We also are men of like ions with you…,

The truth unarguably is that, God is not partial in His dealings with man. His will is always the same for all of His children, he has no favourite and He is always ready (perhaps longing) to manifest His divine presence to any longing and willing heart. All He has ever done for any one of His children will he also do for all.

Were they (Generals of old and the few present ones) chosen by chances or choices?

Too great preoccupation will it be if we take our time to analyse the mysteries of election, predestination and the divine sovereignty; for they belong to the deep and mysterious profound of God’s omniscience. Prying into them may make theologians, but it will never make a saint. Hence, the best and safest way to deal with these truths is to raise our eyes to God and in deep reference say “O Lord, Thou Knowest”.

A quick look at the generals of old and the few presents ones; one would see that they are not the same in their race, nationality, education, temperament, habit and personal qualities, yet they all walked each in his days upon a high road of spiritual living. That is to say, their human difference has no significance in the sight of God. Hence, in some vital qualities they must have been alike (be of the same ion).

What is this vital quality?
I wouldn’t mind suggesting that the very vital quality they had in common was Spiritual Receptivity. Something in them was open to heaven, something which urge them God-ward. Without attempting anything like a profound analysis, I shall simply put that; they had spiritual awareness and that they went on cultivating it until it became the biggest thing in their lives. They differ from average Christians because whenever they felt an inward longing, they simply do something about it. They acquire the lifelong habit of spiritual response or sensitivity so to say. They were not disobedient to the heavenly vision. David put it neatly;
“When Thou saidst, seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, Lord will I seek (Psalm 27:”
“Seek first the kingdom of God and it’s righteousness and all other things shall be added unto thee”.

Alongside a high level of spiritual sensitivity is another important fact; "they seek simply and firstly the kingdom of God".

Why many struggles in the half-light of Christian Experience?
I would not but also suggest without any profound theological analysis that; many Christians struggles in the half light of imperfect Christian experience wholly due to the presence of a self-life veil, a heart preoccupied with things and pleasures of the World, a new source of authority apart from the Word, insensitivity to the things and leading of the spirit, un-subjected will. Lastly, another glaring yet mostly unaddressed is diseases called “lukewarm”; a neither cold nor hot attitude; a falling today and rising tomorrow attitude.

Revelation: 3:15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.
16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

Conclusively; many struggles in the half-light of Christian experience because they have not acquire the lifelong habit of spiritual response, they are lukewarm, preoccupied with Things of the World, seek not first the kingdom of God in their dealings etc. Hence, God therefore, cannot be blamed nor considered to be unjust or impartial in His dealings with His sons and daughters. He is not A to one and at the same time become B or C to another; He’s simply the same to everyone.

IS THERE JOY IN POSSESSING NOTHING?
The testimony of a Christian who was asked to give the statement of his net worth gives a clear mental picture of a man in Christ who has disavowed every externality (things of the world) , and has also seen God as the very owner of his life and everything surrounding his life.
Bro Anonymous: “Lord, I list my liabilities. I am a sinner. I have broken your commandments and have no righteousness. Next, I list my assets. I have grace greater than all my sins. I have mercy which brought pardon for my transgressions of the law. I have the treasure of the Holy Spirit within me. I have an inheritance of eternal life. Now, I would like to report what you have entrusted to my care. You own a home titled to me. You own a car which I drive. You own my family and my bank . I thank you for entrusting me with...

“Blessed are the poor in Spirit for theirs is the kingdom of heaven” Matthew 5:3
“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness...” Matthew 5:6

A clear mental picture of the joy therein in possessing nothing can only be made known through the knowledge and the understanding of the tyranny that things possess (Tyranny of Things).

Things are tyrant because of their dispossessing nature.

“Show me a man who is poor in the spirit, and I will show you a man whose only desire is God and God alone” ~Anonymous~

A man who is poor in the Spirit desires and say in his whole heart, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done as in heaven, so on earth. It is as though he himself disappears; everywhere and in everything he wishes to see God-in himself and in others. Let everything be thine not mine. John of Kronstad

Becoming poor in the Spirit (i.e. having a sense of God at all times, being desirous of God and the things of God) is the very best way to repudiate the willful desires of having things occupying the central place of God?

A man who is poor in the Spirit is the kind who’s mental, spiritual and physical desires are fixated on God. The only acute desire he has is only to see God irrespective of any situation he found himself. He is one of the kinds that can be said of to have forgotten the worldly desires, pleasures and is bent on building his treasures and wealth in heaven.

Becoming hungry and thirsty after righteousness indicates having an inward longing for God rather than on men or material possessions. David became a man after God’s own heart not because of anything else, but because of his daring hearts longing after God. No wonder, he says:

Psalm 42: 1-4.

1 As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God.

2 My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God?

3 My tears have been my meat day and night, while they continually say unto me, Where is thy God?

4 When I these things, I pour out my soul in me: for I had gone with the multitude, I went with them to the house of God, with the voice of joy and praise, with a multitude that kept holyday.

Therefore, from the prior point of view, I would say that the “Joy of Possessing Nothing” is the same as saying the joy therein in having God.

I learnt a lot from the predicament of a revealed lukewarm church in the book of revelation. It was one of such church that holds dear to the core of their innermost being the sense of possessing the earthly things. Their riches and wealth is their power, and to them having riches and wealth is sure enough for them than having God at the core-most part of their whole. The Laodecean Church, a very rich church thought that since they have riches wealth and power, then, they have need of nothing again. To them, riches bring satisfaction, it helps to see, it covered their unclothedness, it banishes miserableness, it brings confidence etc.

However contrary is the case when the Lord Jesus in whom they have no confidence again, nor do they allow to be at the center of their decisions educated them through the revelation writer that;

Revelation 3: 15-18,: NKJV

15 "I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot.

16 So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth.

17 Because you say, 'I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing' --- and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked ---

18 I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your unclothedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see.

“And you not know” showcase that the church unknowingly has allowed material possessions to take the place of God in them. They believing that, since they have everything they ever wanted needed nothing again, do not know that this misplaced priority or confidence in things is a veil that would distract them of the desires and confidence they once put in God.

I would not conclude harp-hardly because the sentence according to verse 18 “Buy from Me gold refined in fire” suggested that there is still hope or light for them at the end of the tunnel of their misplaced priorities, that is, they can still find their way back to God.

“Buy from Me” in that context, considering the foregoing therefore connotes repudiating every external or sense of possessing, removing the self-life veil of their misplaced priority in things (reaches, wealth, gold, power etc.), and putting their whole confidence in God and God alone. It also means allowing God to be at the core of their decision, i.e. God being their power, riches, wealth etc.

Furthermore, the testimony of a Christian who was asked to give the statement of his net worth gives a clear mental picture of a man in Christ who has disavowed every externality (things of the world) , and has also seen God as the very owner of his life and everything surrounding his life.

You own a car which I dive. You own my family and my bank . I thank you for entrusting me with what you own. Amen. Source: Serve the Master; Survival kit 2 by Ralph W. Neighbor, Jr. pg. 57

Inherent in the life of this man is poorness of the spirit, a sense of a dominating God, a clear picture of God as the gracious owner and giver of everything, and lastly, a place for God in his heart is evident.

The joy of therein in having God:

REV 3:18 I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your unclothedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see.

To such and one that has repudiated the tyrant things, will God become real to, seeing God in everything, in every situation of life. God is light and in Him there is no darkness, therefore, for as many having God at the center of their life will the light of the glory of God shines upon. Such and one will see illumination; a broadly shining light in his paths.

REV3:17 because you say, 'I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing' --- and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked ---

Additionally, the joy of possessing nothing is the exact opposite of the woe that betide the Laodecean church; becoming noble, happy, rich, seeing and being clothed.

Conclusively, this article is not kicking against going about one’s business, getting money and wealth and many of our physical needs or materials needs, rather, this article is meant solely to show that;

Luke 12:15:

“The life of a man consisteth not the in the abundance of the things that he possess.”

In other words, we shouldn’t allow our getting, or I will, or I want, of physical things to take the place of God in our life, or to hinder us from placing our utmost priority and confidence in God.

Can you say this prayer with me?

Father, I want to know Thee, but my cowardly heart fears to give up its boys. I cannot part with them without inward bleeding, and I do not try to hide them from Thee the terror of the parting. I come trembling, but I do come. Please root from my heart all those things which I have desired so long and which have become a very part of my living self, so that Thou mayest enter and dwell there without rival. Then shalt Thou make the place of Thy feet glorious. Then shall my heart have no need of the sun to shine in it, for Thyself wilt be the light of it, and there shall be no night there. In Jesus name. Amen. Prayer Source: Pursuit of God by A.W. Tozer. Pg.36.

Michael Curry, the first African-American head of the US Episcopal Church, will preach at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding on Saturday.
Renowned for his stirring preaching style, self-deprecating humour and raucous laughter, Curry is the presiding bishop of the Episcopal Church — the Church of England's sister body in the US.

Michael Curry, is the 27th presiding bishop of the Episcopal Church, the official Anglican church in the US.
While the choice reflects Ms Markle's own African-American heritage and the couple's transatlantic relationship, it is a break from tradition in that typically royal preachers are senior CofE clergy.

On top of that Curry is an outspoken figure on issues ranging from civil rights and Donald Trump's presidency, to same-sex marriage in church and poverty. The couple's decision to ask Curry is made all the more interesting by the fact they do not have a personal relationship with him. Rather the decision was made in consultation with the archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, who baptised Ms Markle into the Church of England in a private ceremony and will officiate at the wedding.

A spokesman for Kensington Palace said of the Prince and Ms Markle's choice: 'The couple and the archbishop discussed a number of possibilities for a preacher.

'Whilst Bishop Curry is not personally known to the couple, it was felt that given the fact that he the Presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church as well as a wonderful speaker and preacher, it would be highly appropriate for him to be invited to speak.'

Welby warmly welcomed the announcement.

Justin Welby has a close relationship with his American counterpart, despite backing the decision to impose sanctions on the Episcopal Church for allowing same-sex marriage. The 'consequences' came after the Episcopal Church first consecrated an openly gay bishop, Gene Robinson, in 2003, and officially authorised gay marriage in 2015.

Curry, who is descended from slaves and sharecroppers in North Carolina and Alabama, has spoken of how his background influences his own ionate defence of same-sex marriage in church.

Last May he filed a 'friend of the court' briefing in of transgender people's right to use the bathroom of their choice.

And in response to the 2016 decision against the Episcopal Church, which was made by the other leaders of the worldwide Anglican Communion, most of who are from the socially conservative global south, Curry issued a robust commitment to his pro-LGBT stance.
'Our commitment to be an inclusive church is not based on a social theory or capitulation to the ways of the culture, but on our belief that the outstretched arms of Jesus on the cross are a sign of the very love of God reaching out to us all,' he said.

'For fellow disciples of Jesus in our church who are gay or lesbian, this will bring more pain. For many who have felt and been rejected by the church because of who they are, for many who have felt and been rejected by families and communities, our church opening itself in love was a sign of hope. And this will add pain on top of pain,' he added.

Speaking to his fellow Anglican leaders who had imposed the sanctions, he added: 'I stand before you as a descendant of African slaves, stolen from their native land, enslaved in a bitter bondage, and then even after emancipation, segregated and excluded in church and society. And this conjures that up again, and brings pain.'

But it is not just sexuality that Curry is outspoken on.

Shortly after preaching at the royal wedding on May 19, Curry will take a leading role in a march on Washington to denounce Trump's 'America First' policies as 'heresy'.

The demonstration outside the White House on May 24 is aimed at 'reclaiming Jesus' after Trump's istration has received unfettered from leading white evangelical figures. It is accompanied by a damning statement, signed by Curry, which is heavily critical of developments in US public life.

'We are living through perilous and polarising times as a nation, with a dangerous crisis of moral and political leadership at the highest levels of our government and in our churches. We believe the soul of the nation and the integrity of faith are now at stake,' it begins.

'We reject the resurgence of white nationalism and racism in our nation on many fronts, including the highest levels of political leadership.'

Signatories also reject 'misogyny, the mistreatment, violent abuse, sexual harassment, and assault of women that has been further revealed in our culture and politics, including our churches, and the oppression of any other child of God'.

The declaration represents a comprehensive attack on President Trump's agenda, continuing: 'We strongly deplore the growing attacks on immigrants and refugees, who are being made into cultural and political targets, and we need to remind our churches that God makes the treatment of the "strangers" among us a test of faith (Leviticus 19:33-34). We won't accept the neglect of the well-being of low-income families and children, and we will resist repeated attempts to deny health care to those who most need it. We confess our growing national sin of putting the rich over the poor. We reject the immoral logic of cutting services and programmes for the poor while cutting taxes for the rich.'

In an apparent personal reference to Trump – without naming him – it says: 'We reject the practice and pattern of lying that is invading our political and civil life. Politicians, like the rest of us, are human, fallible, sinful, and mortal. But when public lying becomes so persistent that it deliberately tries to change facts for ideological, political, or personal gain, the public ability to truth is undermined.'
None of this is to say that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are making a deliberate statement in their choice, although Ms Markle herself has branded Trump 'divisive' and 'misogynistic'.

But they are hardly going to be ignorant of Curry's profile and the implications that will be drawn from their choice.

The service will be broadcast to millions around the world. For Curry, who refers to himself as the CEO of the Episcopal Church – the Chief Evangelism Officer – the opportunity to talk ionately about what he calls the Jesus Movement won't be missed.

Seeing that the figs season has not yet come, right in the mind of everyone that has come accros this age in the scripture is an unclear reason or picture of why Jesus cursed the fig three. However, a brief understanding of what the fig tree really is will enlighten us on why the tree was cursed.

A fig tree is of that class of vegetables in which the fruit is formed in its immature state before the leaves are seen. But as the fruit is of a pulpy nature, the broad, thick leaves come out in profusion to protect it from the rays of the sun during the time it is ripening.

AT MAN’S TIMING
From the illustration above,
One would see that before a fig tree can produce leaves, it will first produce fruits (immature) and as the fruit is reaching mature stage, the leaves will then protrude to prevent it's fruits from suns ray. So, that means when a fig tree is having plenty leaves on it, it is a sign that underneath there are fruits, but the fruits cannot be seen afar not until one is underneath it.

Now let's look into this
Mark 11:12-14 The next day as they were leaving Bethany, Jesus was hungry. Seeing in the distance a fig tree (in leaf) he went to find out if it had any fruit. When he reached it, he found nothing but leaves, because it was not the season for figs. Then he said to the tree, "May no one ever eat fruit from you again." And his disciples heard him say it.

At man’s timing, it is not yet the season for fig, but it has shown leaves meaning that there’s bound to be fruit underneath.

What was Jesus expectation?
That it must have fruits underneath, (he went to find out if it had any fruit, for its fruit cannot be seen afar, since it’s is believed to be under leaves).
Afar off, Jesus expectation was to find fruits on it, but these natures of the fig tree brings about Jesus cursing it;
· Its fruitless nature,
· It's camouflaging ,
· Disappointing,
· Deceiving nature...

Jesus was disappointed,
· He was angry,
· He was teased,
· He was fooled, etc.

The tree can be termed to be a vessel that fails to do the bidding or the work of God.

AT DIVINE TIME
God never operate in man’s timing, Gods time is define. Define time is therefore a time that breaks any protocol. In other words, Gods visitation can come at any point in time, whether summer, or in winter, morning, noon or night.
“It was not the time of fig” suggests that Fig tree can be said to be a tree whose divine time has come to produce fruits, but it fails to do so. It looks promising, and resourceful but without the expected performance, most especially, it was without fruits.
At define time, the tree still possess the nature of the tree in Man’s time, why? It was supposed to bear fruits before leaves, a thing it did otherwise. It deceives, disappoint, camouflage, most of all, bears no fruit. One major thing is inherent, it bears no fruit.

For instance; see this
Mark 11:1-6 As they approached Jerusalem and came to Bethphage and Bethany at the Mount of Olives, Jesus sent two of his disciples, saying to them, "Go to the village ahead of you, and just as you enter it, you will find a colt tied there, which no one has ever ridden. Untie it and bring it here. If anyone asks you, 'Why are you doing this?' say, 'The Lord needs it and will send it back here shortly.'" They went and found a colt outside in the street, tied at a doorway. As they untied it, some people standing there asked, "What are you doing, untying that colt?" They answered as Jesus had told them to, and the people let them go...

Above is a vessel (donkey) whose define time has come, and it utilize the time by doing the bidding or work of God, (bearing fruits I meant).
There are lots to learn from the story;
It applies to Christians that are not producing fruits, those inwhich in appearance one would think they do, rather, they are camouflaging, deceiving and disappointing Christians,

See this:
Revelation 3:1 "And to the angel of the church in Sardis write, these things say He who has the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars: I know your works, that you have a name that you are alive, but you are dead.

Conclusively, the tree represents a believer who has been given much and much is also expected from him /her. This implies that at any time Jesus can visit one’s life and He must find fruits on it. A believer must therefore be ready at any point in time for the master’s visitation.

WHERE DID SICKNESS COMES FROM?
Did God create sickness? Did He create disease germs? After all some people say He created all things. So many people have asked these questions about God, and a lot of Christians believe that God punishes and corrects with sickness.

The most important thing to understand is this, God wants you well and in good health, and He isn’t the originator of sickness.
James 1:17, “Every good gift and every perfect
gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.”
Only good and perfect gifts come from God.
Sickness is not a good gift, just as lack is not a good gift. Sickness destroys and cripples. God wouldn’t do that to any of His children.
Sickness is incipient death. And the Bible calls
death ‘an enemy’ (1 Corinthians 15:26). God would not punish His children with the tool of the enemy. Sickness has ruined many families, it drained their entire livelihood until they became poor, just like the woman with the issue of blood (Matthew 9:20). God wouldn’t give His children such ‘gifts.’
I wish you would know the heart of God when
death seizes upon a family. The Psalmist said, “Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints” (Psalm 116:15).

Sickness - A Legacy of the Fall
After God created man in the Garden of Eden,
He gave him dominion over all the works of His hand. God told Adam he could have anything in the garden for food except for the tree in the midst of the garden.
Genesis 2:16-17, “And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.”
God told Adam; “In the day that thou eatest
thereof thou shall surely die.”
This was more than physical death, which is a
cessation of life. After Adam ate from the tree he did not die physically immediately. This scripture therefore referred not only to physical death but also spiritual death, which is separation from God; being cut off from fellowship with God. Thus the day Adam disobeyed God’s instruction and ate from the tree, he died spiritually, and only then could he die physically.
Man is a spirit, he possesses a soul with which
he regulates his life, actions, thoughts, reasonings and emotions, and he lives in a body (1 Corinthians 5:23). The body is his house. Through disobedience, sin gained dominion over man’s spirit, and through sin fear also got a hold of him. His soul fell and he was cut off from God. His reasoning changed. He now became afraid of the creatures over which he had previously exercised dominion.
Speak Out!He was cut off from fellowship with God because he now had the nature of the devil, and a new master. Death came in with its companions, one of which is sickness - incipient death. So sickness came about as a result of the sin of the first Adam.
Yes, bacteria and viruses were created by God,
so was the mosquito. Mosquitoes were never made to suck blood. God made all insects to suck nectar, and bacteria and virus cells were not made to bring sickness to anybody. But after the fall of man, when the devil stole man’s dominion, he infused them with death - which is his life. That’s the reason they harm those that are under his power till today.

The Reign of Death
Man died spiritually and right from then on
death reigned over him.
Romans 5:12, 14, 17, 21, “ Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death ed upon all men, for that all have sinned: ...Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come ...For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ...That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.”
By one man’s sin death reigned over all men.
Death gained the dominion over all men, and from Adam to Jesus, sin gained the mastery over man’s spirit, and sickness came in, leading to physical death. Thus the reign of sin and sickness began in man’s spirit and ended up in his body, such that the human body could now experience death.
But happy are you if you’re born again, because death no longer reigns over you!
Romans 5:16-21, “And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification. For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.) Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound: That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.”
Praise the Lord! By the righteousness Jesus obtained for us, the full gift of righteousness came upon us unto life. The reign of sin and sickness over us has ended, and so has the dominion of disease. This is why any of the diseases that afflicted the Egyptians, or any other disease that afflicts man should not afflict us.

The 81-year-old pontiff hopes to be like Paul, who knew when it was time to 'take leave' of his flock.
Pope Francis talks about quitting his position as the leader of the Roman Catholic church.
During his morning homily on Tuesday, May 15, 2018, he itted to considering retirement, CRUX reports.

Reflecting on how Paul knew when to leave the Church in Ephesus to go to Jerusalem, Pope Francis said, "When I read this, I think about myself, because I'm a bishop and I'll have to take my leave."

Noting that Paul must have felt "compelled by the Holy Spirit" to go to Jerusalem, the Pontiff praised "this experience by the bishop, the bishop who can discern the Spirit, who can discern when it is the Spirit of God speaking to him and who knows how to defend himself when spoken to by the spirit of the world."According to Vatican News, Pope Francis also said, "It's a decisive move, a move that reaches the heart, it's also a move that shows us the pathway for every bishop when it's time to take his leave and step down."

Referring to other bishops, he said the apostle's great love "is Jesus Christ. His second love is for his flock. Take care of each other and of the entire flock. Keep watch over the flock: you are bishops for your flock, to take care of it and not in order to advance your ecclesiastical career."

"I am thinking of all bishops. May the Lord grant all of us the grace to be able to take our leave and step down in this way (like Paul), with that spirit, with that strength, with that love for Jesus Christ and this faith in the Holy Spirit," the Holy Father concluded.

Pope Francis on reg
This is not the first time the 81-year-old has talked about retirement.

In 2014, he referred to his predecessor, Benedict XVI's resignation as a "beautiful gesture of nobility, of humility and courage," adding it "cleared a path for later popes to do the same."
When Benedict stepped down in 2013, he became the first pope to resign in over 700 years.

While the current Pope has never said anything about retiring, it is important to that he has been vocal about not seeing a long papacy for himself.

THE PRAYER OF “LET MY HEAVENS OPEN” AN INSULT TO THE FINISHED WORK ON THE CROSS
JOHN 10:9

WHO SAYS THE HEAVEN HAS CLOSED ON YOU? DID YOU REALLY THINK GOD WILL DO THAT TO HIS OWN CHILD?. James 1:17 says, every good and perfect gift comes from the father of light in whom there is no variableness or shadow of turning.
Even the earthly fathers knows how to give good gift to their children, how much more will our heavenly father give good things to His very own children who call unto Him.

The cross has given us access into the heavenly, and we know longer need to beg and pray every day at every meeting for our heaven to open before we can make something happen on earth or receives God’s blessings.
