Is that the lie lie history they told you? Smh.
Btw, the woman is 84 years old and the headline is misleading because she was referring to Chinda at 14, not Wike.

All the enemies of Nigeria will lose las las. They always lose.
May God bless Nigeria for ever!

Wike is 57 years old now, take away 42 years from that age, how old was Wike ,42 years ago, that is 15 years.
Wike was in class 3 in secondary school.

Mr Educated man, so 3.8T is 50% of N23T, right?

Why do you defend the indefensible?
Even 10% of N23T is N2.3T and not N3.8T.
Can FG pay a 10% interest rate on ways and means ? Think!!! .

Some of you are just misleading others.

Take for example Nnamdi kanu case, that senator paid 100m or so in cash before Kanu was released. When he jumped bail he was even demand his money back claiming it was the fg that maid him ran away.

When a court grants you 20m naira bail you'll pay that money to the bank before you can be released, sometimes the judge will mention the particular the money will be paid into in most cases other conditions will be attached to it like your surety must worth a certain amount, have houses in a certain area, be a level 16 or a director in the federal civil servant.

So you must fulfill all the conditions before your bail can be perfected

Don't mislead anybody here! Have you ever stood as surety for anyone in the court of law? If not , don't say what you don't know
experience16: 10:58pm On Apr 17, 2024
StJasper:

You are wrong!!!

The surety must deposit the money with the court and the money will only be refunded to the surety if the defendant obeys all the bail .

You are the one who is wrong. You don't deposit any money with the registrar, your surety must provide bank statements to show that he has that kind of money in the bank. Other things include tax clearance if needed, to show that you are a tax abiding citizen of the country and also property to show that you reside in the state where the case is being adjudicated or heard.

Shut up wailer, these people are taking advantage of the bad economic situation to act as if president Tinubu doesn't know what he's doing. he is your president for the next 8 years and no single bastard can change that.
Why do you people talk like this ,how much is your disposable income. People are having a difficult time, trying to cope with the economic challenges in the country. What concerns you is that the president must rule you for 8 years with lots of people suffering. You are really pathetic

They've made enough .... they should leave and let us develop our own industry using our resources.
I tried to understand how Nigerians reason. Which Nigerian has deemed it fit to invest in Nigeria without enslaving Nigerians that work for them with hostile working environment and toxic conditions of service , with terrible remuneration. Nigerian don't know how to manage business but kill it. Check out how many Nigerian businesses, that are owned and managed by Nigerians that are thriving in Nigeria,to a reasonable extent, less than 5%

That is how some of the private schools in Lagos operate. They deliberately delay your salary so that that you will perpetually be at their beck and call or at their mercy. The salary is poor for a teacher taking three main science subjects in this current Nigeria Economy. The Lord is your strength. I will advise you to keep your search light on for other offers. You can also engage yourself in private coaching of students and can make a lot of money if and only if you are good in science.
Mikedgr8:

I'm a Teacher in a private school in the mainland part of Lagos State, I got employed just last month in the school. I take the senior classes Physics, Biology and Chemistry for a meagre 25k salary. The cost of transportation between my house and the school is #600 to and fro each day. On days I don't have enough cash, I trek to school not minding the inconveniences.
The month ended and based on the fact that schools resumed on the 4th of last month, I presumed the salary will be paid on the said date this month.

I tried talking to the proprietor and all he could say was Salary is not ready. Now he tries avoiding me and not picking my calls either.

There is nothing for my family to eat..

I tried going out to work in any construction site but non was willing to take me in to work.
With tears in my eyes, I called him and he managed to pick, he didn't even allow me to talk, he said he will pay next week.

Note, this is the same ordeal faced by other teachers...

Now, my question is why do employers derive joy in delaying salaries after the services rendered by their employees?.

Pls wat did u do afterwards, did u check to see d new date, or did u reschedule it yourself

I was really demoralized, I think the US embassy has turned the visa appointments or slots to a money making venture. Many applicants were rescheduled and also told that they cannot reschedule the appointment. My school will resume on August 21,2023.
Since I cannot reschedule,I have to fill a new DS 160 form, pay the visa fee and start looking for earliest appointment.
I will do that tomorrow

Hello house, I received this email from the US consulate in Lagos. My appointment date ought to be 30th May,2023. What should I do? Should I change my visa interview appointment date or wait for them to send me mail as regards to the rescheduled visa interview appointment date.

Dear Applicant,

Your student visa interview appointment at the U.S. Consulate General in Lagos has been rescheduled. You are advised to watch out for updates from the Consulate regarding student visa slot availability. Please visit www.ustraveldocs.com/ng to confirm your new appointment day/time and PRINT out an updated appointment confirmation letter.

Please note that the U.S. Consulate General initiated this rescheduling and it cannot be reversed by the call center agents.
If you retrieve your appointment confirmation letter by email, you will receive an automated email saying, “Congratulations, you have successfully rescheduled your appointment.” This message will confirm your new appointment date and time.

Sincerely,

U.S. Visa Help Desk

Lies. They are not circulating anything.
The ATM machines in Ikeja, have new Note, but you will see one person with 10 ATM cards withdrawing more than N100,000 per card. I thought bank has pegged the maximum withdrawal per card to N20,000 per day. People are withdrawing more than N100,000 per day. CBN should act fast because Nigerians have started hoarding the new notes instead of spending them

Please do not misinform the public, the project was started by Ambode and was nearing completion before Ambode exit. Stop portraying Ambode in bad light
vixpal:
Nice project started by Babatunde Fashola but abandoned by Akin Ambode , now being completed by Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

One thing I like about Babajide Sanwo-Olu is that , he sees government as a continuous process. The hitherto uncompleted projects by Fashola and Ambode are now being completed.

Kudos to him for being a good student of President Buhari, who now completes all abandoned, awarded, re-awarded, initiated , compromised projects that have been abandoned for years by previous governments as a result of corruption , while initiating and completing new projects like Lagos Ibadan Railway that the groundbreaking was done in March 2017 by his Deputy and three years after ..alas..the project is completed. Also Executive Order 7 by the President have made naysayers to keep quiet on infrastructure drives of this govt like Apapa Oshodi Gbagada Road, Second Niger Bridge, etc as explained here:

God bless Amosun for this, he did very genuine projects. Abiodun is a vegetable. I don't know what is wrong with him
Which solid road did Amosun construct? All the roads he constructed in Ado-Odo/Ota local government are in a deplorable and pathetic situation. Amosun is a waste. All Ogun States governors ,past and present are heavily corrupt.

But this present pointing and drug addict of a governor won't listen.

Apc is a scam.

Good bless you for this post. Ambrose was always working on the road , even beyond tollgate. Since Ambode left, that road has become a shadow of itself. I really miss Ambode

@Op, you should have said commodities were doled out for free in the past instead of you crookedly cutting down the prices.
Mind you a bag of rice is sold for #12,000 in Agege just last week and for #8,000 in Owode/Ifo Ogun state this week.
Thanks for that information, I need to get to Ifo this Saturday to buy at least four bags of rice before the price becomes unreachable.
