Bruv i am a newbie..dont know anything
Just learn how to code and set up your own server. You'll start seeing potential security flaws that way and then learn how to counter them.

Show me any hacker with deep hacking skills on YouTube. Many just recycle what someone else already did or read online. Many post videos just to gain followership. The best hackers mine the deep web.

How many hackers caught in the act have videos and materials online? They all learn and execute their trade quietly, away from prying eyes.

You can't just mine the deep web in search of a magical "click here to hack big blue button" The resources you find on the deep web won't make you better if you have no knowledge of what hacking is on the surface web. Security hacking skill is an art form that is developed by long term practice learning and hard work "Not something you aquire by surfing .onion sites". But then of cause, it is also not something that can be easily be learned out from a text book and a course.

Sure they will teach you to use a few tools and few concepts and few methods that has been outdated for maybe 20 years but to really learn the art you need to master how a computer system works. , the more you understand how a security is implemented and what are its weaknesses the better you will be at exploiting it.

P.s I suggest you check out LiveOverflow, Gynvael, IppSec, Hak5 and OALabs on youtube if you think there's no real hacking channel. Also try to watch some DefCon clips.

Jollof isometric icons category

Only the first three is African inspired because of the traditional caps, everything else looks pretty normal to me. No African stuffs there. Except if you want to say Africans head are shaped like that and we always have a line in the middle of our head "just being sarcastic btw". Even those three are just dumping traditional caps on normal emojis. You should try adding some tribal marks. And the emojis should look chocolate in colour. You can also research the pictures of famous masquerades and masks across Africa and create emojis for them. But overall, you did great buddy.

We are all accustomed to plugging our phones in to charge them up next to our beds before we go to sleep.

It helps make sure you wake up with a device ready to go and one which will last throughout the day, or until lunch-time at least depending on how many apps you are using.

But, apparently, this isn't the right way to charge your phone and help its battery life prosper.

a company that offers devices that test smartphone and other batteries, runs a free educational website called battery university,
offers a host of tips for prolonging the life of your phone.

Don't let your phone run out before you plug it in

We're often told that you should fully deplete your battery before you charge it right back up again.

Again, this isn't ideal.

According to the experts, a "deep-discharge" where you run it down to a fraction of its power is actually bad for batteries and will wear them out quicker.

Charge your phone little and often

We're all used to plugging in our mobiles for the long, overnight charge.

But it turns out that juicing up frequently and in small doses might actually be the best option for your battery's health.
It doesn't matter if you only charge up 10% or 20% as, according to Battery University: "artial charges cause no harm."
Keep your phone's battery between 65% and 75%

It turns out there's an optimal point to maintain your phone's power - kind of like the optimal speed limit for burning gas and covering distance in a car.

According to the team at Battery University, the sweet spot is between 65% and 75% of your battery's full charge.
Best keep that power pack handy

Never fully charge your battery

This one might seem a bit counter-intuitive - but it appears that you should never charge your phone up to 100%.

That's because modern lithium-ion batteries do "not need to be fully charged, nor is it desirable to do so."
The website states: "In fact, it is better not to fully charge, because a high voltage stresses the battery".

You don't need to remove the charger when it's full

If you do decide to ignore the point above, the good news is that you don't have to remove the phone after you've hit 100%.

Battery University points out that the charger automatically turns off when it hits 100% so you're not doing any extra damage by leaving it connected to your device.

That being said, if you're not doing the battery any good by keeping it at 100%, it might be best to leave it alone overnight.

Lmao... As if I wake up in the middle of the night to unplug my phone at 75%
Don't say battery university to look right. After 100% the connection or charge that's going to your phone is cut. There is only a voltage and not current ing (no watts). No matter how long you charge or keep your phone plugged in after reaching 100% it won't affect the battery's lifetime as smartphones are designed to stop the charge at 100% and it doesn't hurt the battery at all. There will not be a deterioration. Please do your research before posting threads... Cheers mate. xD

DAY 4
LOGICAL OPERATORS IN PYTHON

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q7uKLOxw7JY

In Python, the following operators can be used to make Boolean Logic comparisons or statements:

If a, b are variables in python or conditional statements, then

1. and true if both a AND b are true. This is also known as Logical Conjunction

2. or true if either a OR b are true. This is also known as logical disjunction

3. not true if the opposite of a is true. This is also known as Logical Negation

I'll freely it this is a pretty solid tutorial, clear and concise.

This is exactly why I left the gaming industry back in 2016. It's still not a feasible career path as of today in Nigeria. You can be lucky of course, but I would say 90 out of 100 game developers in Nigeria end up quitting.

If you really need to become a game developer, you are better of moving to more developed country to hone your skills. Make a lot of money and maybe one day you will gather a team that create games you've been dreaming of.

I still love game dev. It's a creative exercise, but I'v adjusted to reality. I'd love to go back at some point when I'm super comfortable and money ain't a problem. Just creating content to make people happy.

I'll freely it you are right... I also know it'll take a while before our animation and game industry in Nigeria develop, we're all still focusing/facing web and app development. I also used to be a game programmer myself, when I was a freshman and talking to my fellow computer science classmates about my interest in being a game programmer a lot of them didn’t really like the idea of making video games. Most of them were way more interested in developing apps whether it be mobile or web based. Others were more interested in working for big companies like Microsoft, Google etc. Other people didn’t even like to play video games let alone make them.

So in short I found the majority of computer science undergraduates or graduates in Nigeria that I spoke to actually don’t want to be game programmers. They have no real interest in it

Hello brothers and sisters, this is the first time I’ll be posting on Nairaland; please I would like to know if there is a software that I can use to extract email addresses (leads).
When I say extract, I mean where and how to get peoples email addresses, their s exclusive.
Thanks in anticipation.

Open source data scraping is pretty easy to do. you can begin searching for emails like an OSINT researcher with the classic tools like Maltego or theharvester, they can be used for email scraping and in case you're wondering, they do just that by searching open-source data for target email addresses.. Cheers.

I wan learn oh. ......i need to learn pls
Can you code? Ever used any OS except windows? Those that have no idea about programming or how anything works, are near impossible to explain anything to. I have videos on youtube that show how to hack telegram games and do some offensive penetration testing and Social Engineering. but every now and then, someone asks something like can I hack their friend's world of warcraft or Whatsapp .

Oh well! Hacking is like a game though. But yea, always want to hack their friend or partner's social network and they want to do it with the click of a button.
