Okoroawusa: Thank you so so much. A lot of economic and historical illiterates here. If ghana's currency is doing so well, shouldn't their cost of living also be reducing? Everything you can buy in Nigeria is sold for twice or more the price in Ghana. These people just read something and the next thing is to start bashing their own country without even understanding the implications of what they read. It's terribly annoying. 2 Likes |

agulion: Lol... If only you know the extent of direct impact Tinubu had/has on what we call nollywood today, especially for those that were based in lagos. A lot of you say a lot of things and it's immediately obvious why you'll always be a follower and never a leader. 2 Likes 1 Share |

frankson1: Where's the deception? Has the government or any other concerned party refuted any of his claims? If you can't make the calculation of what the government gets per bag from the simple way he broke it down, then I have nothing positive to say to you. 1 naira is 100kobo, 52 kobo is 52% of 1 naira which means the government gets 52% of his profit from every bag of cement he sells. Like I said earlier, hatred and envy are terrible mental illnesses. Let go of it before it ruins you. 2 Likes |

Hatred and envy are very terrible mental issues. I call them mental issues because I don't believe rational people should possess such attributes. Some people above me are suffering from those mental issues. They don't even understand what he's driving at in the article but their envy for dangote has already made them start tackling what he said. For clarification purposes, dangote has no problem with whatever the government is making from his products, he's just stating one of the ways the government makes money without directly involving in business. He pushing for government building a more conducive environment so local investors can thrive and encourage foreign investors to come in thereby increasing how much the government makes. ceejayluv: Says who? You? As you be police abi court of law? Most of you Nigerians have a very inflated opinion of yourselves and your relevance. If Pdiddy was Nigerian, I'm sure the lot of you will protest for his release without even understanding what or why he's being investigated. You don't know anything, let alone thinking you have all the answers. Social media is an equivalent of 'beer parlor'. Most of what you call news on social media are beer parlor gists. Know this and know peace. |

Biggeststar01: Where did you read that he was jailed? Are we following the same story? Let's stop throwing around without understanding their meaning or to align with our bias. Being detained and being jailed are 2 widely different things. People are detained when suspected for criminal offences while investigation is ongoing or during legal proceedings in the case of capital offences, that's the norm everywhere in the world. So why should his be different? Because he's VDM? 1 Like |

southsouthking: Lol There's a very thin line between activism, freedom of speech and libel. Like Yoruba elders will say, every statement has a response but not every response should be uttered. Anyone can be anything, but laws won't change because of you. People will probably think it's their reactions and protests that prompted his release. Lol. Dey play. Just because someone we like is the one breaking the law does not make it right and just because the authorities decided to do their jobs does not make them the enemy. Everybody keeps encouraging him in his unwise approach, I hope it'll be all worth it at the end. You can do the right thing in the wrong way and that's exactly what he's doing. Segalink has had a great impact without being a nuisance. People have fought for people and stood up for the truth without being uncouth, irate and disrespectful. Nigerians will keep hailing you just because you are speaking against their perceived enemies, case in point is Nnamdi Kanu. Let the consequences come and you'll be shocked that you can ever be so easily forgotten by the same people you thought you were fighting for. Be an activist but be a legally informed activist. 17 Likes 1 Share |

It's obvious whoever wrote this article has no idea how the legal system works and many of those commenting don't as well. Emotions and facts can't intertwine. I caught you on my cctv stealing my things and went to play it at your trial against you but you claim there are other times my cctv caught you just strolling past and minding your business or even helping people, but is that what you're being sued for? How is that relevant to your case? I for one think the case is much ado about nothing but if this is how his legal team is going about this, then I understand why he's still there till now or maybe they are intentionally sabotaging him. |

... Such vague question. There's no car company that will put a feature in their cars to make the doors jam when there's any form of collision. That's not only counterproductive, but very unsafe. Car doors jamming are mostly due to impact around the hinges or door lock mechanism. This means other measures should be employed to rescue whoever is in the car. 3 Likes |

Mehn STFU! There's nothing cultural about Nigerian weddings anymore. It has been so stupidly modernized and turned to a mini carnival. If it was a cultural thing, people that don't belong to the culture won't even understand it enough to want to copy it. But unfortunately everyone wants to use their 'cultural' event to prove their status and wealth, thereby bringing the whole process to ridicule. We brought our culture to ridicule, why complain when foreigners help us bring it to more ridicule? Funny people. 2 Likes |

Lol... See them arguing over what was handed over to them. What if the the original text you're trying to argue is not even accurate? Bunch of greedy charlatans fighting over a foreign religion that they know nothing about. A religion that was brought to them in exchange for their brothers and sisters as slaves. A religion where the source does not even believe it's premise. It's a shame. The earlier people realize Christianity is a political and colonist tool, the best for them. 1 Like |
