Unless your friend is ionate about science or research, I’ll advise she takes the advice of that person and go to nursing school if she plans to relocate here, although that’s still dependent on whether she has ion for healthcare. If she’s rich enough and doesn’t want to study in Nigeria, she can build up healthcare experience and apply to accelerated Masters in Nursing programs (Pre-registration) in the UK. It’s 2 years instead and she can with NMC as a UK RN after graduation.

When you talk about maybe there being another alternative with her biochemistry degree, I did biosciences as well and a bioscience masters here. I was able to get 2 job offers, one as a lab person in the NHS and another as a research assistant. I took the research assistant post cuz it’s at the No1 Uni here in the UK (UniofCam). However I’ve found research / being confined to a lab to be boring, and tbh most people going down that route would have to spend longer years getting a PhD, else you’ll not be able to get a higher up position. However Nursing seems more interesting to me, reason why I’m starting an accelerated nursing program in 3months. Most Nigerians like me too studied Microbiology / Biochemistry / Cell Biology / Molecular Biology and the likes as a first degree because we didn’t meet the cut off for medicine or nursing or dentistry or the other medical courses. So if that’s the case for your friend, she should grab this opportunity for a career in healthcare. It’s totally worth it (IMO).

It all depends on your refrigerator and power supply. It can actually last for weeks if kept in a good freezer.

The highest I have kept mine is 3days sha. I xoooo much love this drink. Made some for myself last week.

The POF for two years MSc, must it cover tuition fees for the two years Or one year tuition fees and other living expenses for 9months?

Rightly said... Employers value experience and placement gives you that exposure.

Your POF has got nothing to do with placements as POF is only for the first 9 months of your stay in the UK as well as the tuition for your course. So, if your course is for one year or two years, POF is still for the first 9 months. But your tuition will certainly rise a little, when you are adding placements to your academics.

It should be 1year for those with BSc Nursing.

Those with BSc in science related courses can enrol for 2yrs MSc Pre-registration, One year is for foundational courses and 1year for MSc proper.

I intend enrolling for MSc Pre-registration Adult Nursing, University of Plymouth. Fees is about £16k/year. It's a 2years program.

I can struggle to raise the deposit fees and the 30% required for enrollment, that's about £5000

My question is, as a student entitled to work for 20hrs weekly, what will likely be my earnings? Will it be sufficient for feeding, accommodation, and also cover tuition fees for the remaining part of the two years program.

I need someone to share his/her experience please. I need to japa before they sell this country with me inside.
