Hello everyone, if someone could please outline the various steps involved when you're done filling and submitting the visa application form I'd be very grateful.

I was told you have to pay 77k for priority to get a close date and 19k for courier? I'm confused please, it would be nice to have a straightforward timeline with an accurate list of future payments so that I can plan better 🙏🏾

Priority is £500.When you submit your application form and you’re directed to Tls,you’ll see the appointment dates available.You can also choose their various added value services.Yes courier is 19k on the Tls page

That’s not my point.When you look at the modules of these courses you realize that they are watered down version of another course but made to look ‘exciting’.At the end of the day there’s very little use to these degrees or should i say there are limitations with what you can do with them.

Yes it can - by valid skills and industry experience - that's the whole point. A plumber does not need a degree, nurses didn't require degrees back in the day and they are talking about reverting to the former model, neither do electricians or builders or care workers or firefighters or pilots or photographers or carpenters or graphic designers or prison officers or train drivers...I could go on.

Many of the above professions are in demand and pay very well but are often looked down on in favour of academic degrees by Nigerians, Indians etc until they travel out and then start looking for ways to learn welding

We've ended up with surplus universities, many of which were former polytechnics, offering low quality/[b]irrelevant courses that provide no real value in the real world -young people coming out with £50k plus worth of debt [/b]that many will service for life due to low salaries and high interest. It is right to consider viable options like apprenticeships or degree apprenticeships.

Zahra I was so shocked when i saw UCL had BA in ‘Viking and Norse studies’.I’m not one to judge people’s choices but it’s a ridiculous degree to have and you’ll still have students take student loans to study these kind of courses.

No they only need to show evidence of living costs/financial requirement for the 1st academic year (9 months) and attach proof of payment of the tuition fees.

Zahra29 please i need clarity on something, for someone applying for student visa (undergraduate),does the person need to show maintenance for the 3yrs of study.
Please note that the fees have been paid.I just want to give the right info to the person in question.

Nigerians are resilient kind of people who strive to excel in any field they find themselves and Nigeria is an important market for UK universities irrespective what ur opinion are.

When I told my tutor I sold my house to fund my education he was amazed like "how will you recover this huge funds"?
Without government we still strive to go places. Those countries u mentioned including UK, US, Europe hardly u see someone just buy a car with their funds 100%.
Here in Nigeria u see someone bring 50 million to build a house, 7m to buy a car. In those countries no one does that they won't agree rather u spread the funds over 30 years.

Even in UK universities finds are spread over 30 year plus. Loan makes their life easy without it they won't cough that funds
