I have a question pertaining my application.

My dad wants to do a US study visa for my wife. He even went ahead to pay someone about $2500 to help with the application cos he has excellent US study visa approval (80%). Haaa!

My question is although my wife is well-travelled, she is ,sadly, a US migrant F3 applicant as I added as a FOLLOWING in my filing process.

Will her US study visa application be refused automatically on such grounds?

The paid-agent who claims to have interned with the USCIS at some points in his career said he has helped some guys who are being filed for get US study visas. He is even surprised I was refused at all.

He subsequently said my wife stands a chance of getting a US study visa. How true is this! Sorry I'm a doubting Thomas.

Please what are the chances cos I don't want the $2500 to go into waste?

Also, the agent said I could be given a dependent visa to follow her. I don't trust this information.

Please how true is this cos I have been refused the US study visa twice cos I am been filed for?

Hope this agent is not only out to milk an-already-lean cow.

Good morning guys, please I need a help. My brother went to interview at the Lagos consulate last year and he was told to get a DNA test done which he did and he submitted his documents to the OIS services. When he got a mail to pick up his port, he went to get it but there was no visa in his port and he was given the same slip requesting a DNA. At this point, we are confused and we don’t know what to do. We have ed the embassy and sent a mail to the DNA office but there’s no response at all.

Has anyone had this type of experience before? Does anyone have an ideas what need to be done?

But that is what polytechnics were meant to do. There is no aspect of building construction that is not taught at the polytechnics. However, the quest for paper certificate has derailed people from that primary purpose and turned polytechnics into another theoretical school, instead of the technology and hands-on training approach. People now see polytechnics as prerequisite for post graduate diploma and then masters. Students no longer take the opportunity of industrial attachment programs to nurture skills on what they learned during OND or HND. Everyone just wants to mark the and get the credit for graduation, rather than learning during IT.
In the US, there are community colleges where one can learn to be plumber, electrician, welding, mechanic , HVAC, etc. These blue collar jobs are becoming more lucrative these days. With the needed oversight and regulations, people who graduate from such programs are very competent in their specific jobs.

You captured everything succinct...not long ago i was invited to speak to youths in my village about self sufficiency and helping oneself...many of these people are complaining diasporans AIN'T HELPING THEM.(everyone get their own problem)I asked them " How many have learnt trades like block making or painting even Masonry or even Carpentery,plumbing and require a equipment to start ...NONE ...MANY want cash to do one business or the other or keke or keke bus or even Japa without a plan.

Even after learning trades they don’t excel at it by practicing at international standards.

So you can see the difficulty in recruiting a skilled carpenter and er to do a very basic woodworking job. Then people turn around and say there's unemployment in Nigeria. The fact is what Nigeria is experiencing is structural unemployment. Over the years, there has not been the needed training in vocational qualifications and apprenticeships. Apart from the Ibo nation to a large extent, apprenticeship training is dead in Nigeria. Youths and school leavers no longer "learn work". Before, they go into keke business, now is skits and content creators.

Enough of tertiary qualifications as there is a glut. So so paper qualifications, not enough skills acquisition.

It’s shockingly disappointing.
