You should reapply or apply for reconsideration by sending the documents with a letter

Submitted all those documents and was given same reasons for refusal. I also dont understand the IMP stated on the letter as i didn't apply under this program

NL Family, me thank God for great things He has done for me. I give God praise for showing himself strong on my behalf. He has granted me my heart desires.
God granted my family and I our desired Canadian visas: Study Visa for me and my 2 children and a Visitor Visa for hubby.
What God cannot do does not exist.
I decided I was going to apply for Canadian Express entry in 2018 so I wrote IELTS in preparation but got diagnosed with Cancer towards the end of the same year. I spent better part of 2019 undergoing the treatment protocol.
I read via some blogs and listened to some vlogs that said Canadian Immigration approval is not usually given to people who have had my kind of challenge and have not stayed at least 5 years after treatment. The reason they gave is that Canada would not want to approve immigration requests for immigrants that will cause excessive demand on their health care service. Downcast, I stopped pursuing my immigration plan and resolved I could as well wait out the 5 years so my IELTS expired.
I was encouraged to try the student route in 2021 but I honestly didn’t know I will be required to do medicals. I thought with the Student Visa, I will pay my medical out of pocket which I was ready to do. It turned out God wanted to show me that He was and is still all powerful and will do what He wants to do.
I started looking for schools in Canada around July 2021 but saw their application openings for most schools I checked were already for Fall 2022 but I wanted to relocate in January,2022 so I went ahead to get ission from 2 US schools. By December 2021, I concluded I couldn’t travel to US in January 2022 with my family at such a short time especially as we were struggling to get appropriate interview dates in December,2021. At this point, I decided to defer the ission in US and apply to Canadian Schools for Fall 2022 starts, apply for Canadian visas with my family, if we don’t get visa approvals, we will request for expedited interview date for US and head there for Fall start. Through it all, I prayed earnestly trusting God to lead us to the best place that will not mess up His plans for my family especially my kids.
I applied in November, 2021 for a Masters, got ission in January, 2022. God sent me help all through.
We were advised by well-meaning friends and an immigration consultant that I should pursue my visa application first before including family but my spouse didn’t agree. According to him, everyone has a story. I applied for my student visa with my family in April,2022. I was 43 years old as at the time of the Application and have worked for more than 16 years.
It is important I point out the following:
1. I had not taken COVID Vaccine as at when I applied for visa and had my medical exams
2. I had an active express entry profile
3. My BP was quite high on the morning of my medical review but the Physician assured me there was nothing to worry about.
4. I completed my breast cancer treatment in 2019 (less than 5 years ago). I went with
my medical report when I went for the Medical Exams. The Physician carefully explained to me that even though he was going to scan the medical report I came with that there was nothing to be concerned about.
5. I didn’t pay any school fees before I applied for visa because my school sent me an email that I didn’t need a deposit to secure the space. I just included this email correspondence in my application and showed through my POF that I had enough fund to cater for me and family.
6. All my siblings except only one live in either USA or Canada and are citizens of these countries including my mum. However, being a married lady, I never mentioned them in my SOP. I only put their names in one the forms I filled during the application. I built my home ties more on me and spouse’s assets and jobs in Nigeria.
7. I never sent a single email or webform before I got my approval and spouse’s approval
8. I begun sending desperate emails and webforms after my spouse and I got approvals and my 2 children’s approval didn’t come even after 12 weeks of submission. It turned out we missed including their birth certificates in their applications. IRCC sent us email to them via the portal
I noted the above because Nos 1 to 5 were some of my worry points before I received my approval.
I am writing hoping someone will find hope and relax and trust God to confirm His promises.

I applied feb 26, my eligibility has been on ‘review required’ since April 23 (I know through gcms note).
I’ve gotten 4 ghost updates since then.. the last two on July 21 and 23. And mp confirmed it’s still on review required as at last week Friday (Aug 5). My application is now 5months and 13 days.
I really hope a positive decision is made soon. God please � I strongly believe you’ll do it and you have done it. Amen

Had lumpsum, didn't explain well in my SOP.I had to do a letter of explanation and send through webform(was scared when i did that but still had to). My proof of fund covered one year living expense and one year tuition.

Did upfront medicals on 30th of June.
Got my medical result from IOM on 12th July. I was scared as my BP was quite high 170/95, then 156/90. This was indicated in my result in red but God took control.

I submitted my application before coming across this platform, was worried at the documents i saw people submitting but i just trusted God all the way.

Just brief about my story

I started my studies online in September 2020 due to Covid-19 and in the same month applied for my Study Permit. I was denied the permit due to insufficiency of funds, but due to resilience continued my studies till date.

After putting together some funds and getting funding opportunities, I reapplied for the study permit the second time on the 30th of October, 2021 and since then I have not received any official .

It is more than 8 months now, I have written to IRCC several times and it has always been the generic mail response. Last month I applied for Global Case Management System (GCMS) Notes and it states, "Based on the LOA, funds, and documents provided, PA appears to be a BF student."

Which means I am a bonafide Student, but till now I have not gotten my approval.


I have been praying, fasting, ing NSPPD prayer sessions, and enlisted pastors and colleagues to pray along with me for funding and approval. I have doubted God, broken, depressed, and at a point beer no dey even high me because prayers wasn't calming my mind down.

Nothing on this earth made any sense any longer. I was fighting everyone at work above all can you fight God?

I have still gone back to him, I am now 28 days into my fast and Saturday it would be nine (9) months since I reapplied for my Study permit.

So if it is about your faith in God IRCC would shake it, and make you doubt God. @Hafeez6948 is simply stating bitter truth. I had the option of heading to US and Australia even for PhD and I refused and choose Canada. See am nah, I am now going back and seeking for same issions I ignored for the almighty Canada.

Write to the school. This same thing happened to me. I sear hed for any email address on the school website that had to do with the finance section. The moment i sent a mail to them, i got a response the next day and all information i needed was provided.

These are the same medical examinations required here in nigeria. So your e medical form is valid so long as it hasn't expired.

Hello thanks for your input, but there are specific medical tests required to be done for a study permit application and that is what I was tested for. I don’t think they go testing for monkey pox or Ebola because one is in Nigeria, that’ll be outright discrimination.

Please is it normal that since I applied on May 17th and doing biometrics on May 24th, my background check is still saying "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information." and eligibility is "Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start reviewing your eligibility." ? I even had to bombard them with mails and webforms before they updated my biometrics on June 28th and updated my upfront medicals on July 1. Who else is in this predicament ?

At times e b like say bomb wan explode for my brain. I am mentally affected by the delay from IRCC. Today makes it 4 months and 17 days since i applied (march 3rd). Medical and bio Complete, eligibility review started since April 29th. I dont understand anymore cuz i know my application is good my only doubt is that i have large opening balance in my parents savings with not much significant deposit for the following six months. I dont know if they are considering the opening balance as lumpsome. I don write tire na generic response i dey get. I for don dey Ireland by now dey chop their fish and chips with my friends like sey i accept the offer. I hope say i neva enter one chance with IRCC like dis. November to march Applicants we dey try.
