Boss13:Bros the EFCC has really tightened it's noose around bankers and the banking sector. Nobody can move money freely like used to obtain before. And in response to this, criminals and politicians have devised dubious ways of beating the system. One of them is to hide behind legitimate cash transfers between banks and use their couriers to transfer this money. These guys may be genuine staff of bankers warehouse but I'm 100% sure they were carrying out an illegal transfer using paraphelenia of bankers warehouse and Union bank. That's probably why they didn't present documents to validate the transfer. 1 Like |

There is no frigging way on earth this particular money transit was legit. If these staff duly presented letters of conveyance from the Bank, there is no way the EFCC would have detained them. The press release came from the EFCC head office in Abuja! They would have done due diligence and confirmed if the transit was indeed Legitimate. This nonsense press conference from Union bank and Bankers warehouse is an attempt to quickly legitimise an illegal transit in which they were caught! That money must not be returned to Union bank under any circumstance. I'm waiting for another press conference from the EFCC to counter these useless claims by union bank and Bankers warehouse. If they duly presented papers for a legal transit, there is no where they would have been stopped. Except they were using union bank and Bankers warehouse cover to launder money for someone. |

warrior13:RUBBISH! Don't use your 10years experience to justify the nonsense you're saying. Please go ask the ants that accompany cash if it is normal for 2 men with suitcases containing N1billion to charter an airplane to ferry the money interstate without notifying the authorities. That's money laundering! Whoever sent those guys on that errand simply used their status as staff of bankerswarehouse to attempt to launder money. Same way some unscrupulous people use soldiers to escort smuggled goods thinking they can easily get past customs. 1 Like |

hammerFC:Price of rice fell because we reinvigorated our customs and deliberately banned the importation of rice. Anywhere in the world, when you ban a commodity it becomes scarce. That's because it is hard to get. This policy has led to the growth of the local rice industry in Nigeria. Thousands of rice farmers have emerged because we have made foreign imported rice more expensive and harder to get. Your saviour Jonathan in contrast awarded rice importation licenses to his PDP friends and cronies. It's all there online! Please Google and check. Oil was selling at $27 - $32 per barrel on the international market when Buhari came in. Nigeria could afford petrol at N87 per out. That s no longer the case! Oil rose to close to $90 per barrel before plummeting to $60 recently. N87 petrol is not realistic because oil is no longer $30 like it was in 2015! That's common sense! I keep repeating this, you people have no idea who your real enemies are! I'm really sorry for you! 2 Likes |

aonag:See what exactly!!! Aren't you the one that can't see? Nigeria was collapsing in 2015! States couldn't pay salaries, even the FG was owing ita workers! Boko haram was in control of Borno, Adamawa and Yobe. They were even making inroads to Gombe and Kogi. Then we had a President that was going around and spraying dollars!!!! We had a President that could clearly well see that Boko haram was advancing South and he budgeted $2billion in the name of defence to wire to the PDP through Fidelity bank!!! Bros that is the past we are coming From! Please you people should be objective in how you reason and criticise! Things are not perfect. Infact ita impossible for anything to be perfect under 4 years but we are making progress! Nobody is sharing money in Abuja again! Personally that is enough for me to vote Buhari in 2019. 3 Likes |

1nigeriamyfoot:Someone who lives in Nigeria and has no idea what was happening in Abuja in 2015? Lol I partook in the largesse of 2014/2015. Not because I am a corrupt person, but because I was grossly overpaid for what I did and didn't even do. There was too much illicit money flowing around. I know the evil and danger of feasting on money meant for everyone that's why I'm strongly ing Buhari because I have first hand experience of what Abuja was like! You're just a learner sitting behind a keyboard and typing shit. You have no idea who your real enemies are. Continue rooting for the people that have kept you in poverty since 1960. It's your choice anyway. Wetin concern me 4 Likes |

warrior13:Two guys with $1.4M each in suitcases at the Airport are apprehended. They claim to be staff of a company that transports cash. There is a procedure for transporting cash through any means oga. Even if it's by air, it is concealed as cargo and transported discretely. No bank or organisation will risk sending a billion naira using 2 people in suitcases! Where is it ever done except in movies? Please endeavour to laud progress in this fight against corruption. Yes criticise but criticise with sense and factually! Dont assume because you have seen an American movie where one man was transporting millions of dollars in a suitcase means its the norm in real life. |

1nigeriamyfoot:You might have a point. Nigeria may not need me now. That's why I left for the UK to make something out of my life. But I'm sure Nigeria is full of people like you. vicdom:I'm an ardent er of Buhari and I don't belong to any of those groups. I know where Nigeria was in 2015. Nigeria was a country of private jet owners with no business address. Nigeria was a country with billions earmarked for projects and nothing tangible on ground! The greedy PDP gluttons just packed all the money meant for the projects and siphoned to buy private jets! Money meant for troops on the frontline wasn't spared! They stashed money in Apartments in Lekki and Kaduna! That's the Nigeria we are coming from! We're slowly recovering from that demonic era. What pains me the most is people like you coming out to say utter rubbish when you have no idea what's going on! Do you have any idea what was going on during Jonathan's regime in Abuja? You simply have no clue! You just sit on your keyboard and type rubbish! 8 Likes 1 Share |

Hedonini:Lol this is crass ignorance! I suggest you conduct an experiment and stash N5M in your car. Then notify the EFCC and argue with them as to whether holding or transacting differ. Those gentle men caught at the Airport were not transacting anything. They were in possession of an amount greater than the maximum allowed by law to be held or transacted as cash. Please go and read or go and sleep if you have nothing else to say. Thanks. |

Mboi2:Zero objectivity! The FG has repeatedly agreed on the N30,000! Eve when the minimum wage proposed by Labour was N52,000, the FG agreed to pay but the states have to be in agreement. When the states were brought in to negotiate with Labour, the meeting concluded in the states being able to pay only N30,000 and not the N52,000 Labour had proposed to the FG. You people should try to be objective in your criticism and not allow sentiments cloud you. I live abroad and I don't collect Npower money like you have ignorantly posted. I really pity people like you! |

Whoever it was that even paid him the money will be in contravention of the law. He will be in breach of anti money laundering laws if he transacts any business with that money. But the authorities can even prempt him and arrest him for attempting to spend money above the limit without ing through a financial institution. |

Buhari has said over time that the FG can comfortably pay the N30,000. It's the states we are concerned about. They cannot even meet up with salary payments with minimum wage at N18,000, how on earth will they cope with N30,000? I think continuous engagement is the key! There should be a staggered increase in minimum wage starting from N30,000 and maybe a review after 2,3 years. Furthermore, the NLC should stop trying to milk political capital put of this wage review. They should stop making it seem like the FG is dragging its foot on it. The states are the ones that cannot afford it! Not the FG! |

hero2000:See this one waiting for me to help him check google! What fact to counter? Buhari said our reserves are $42billion, that is fact! If that bastard wendell simlin has succeded in emptying our reserves overnight, thats between you and him. Buhari was spot on on eceryrhing he said! Google is your friend oga! |

almarthins:Bros the "fact" is that everything Wendell Simlin posted is trash! Nigerias reserves have increased!!! I can't understand how anyone can dispute that, it's basic fact! GDP growth is positive and increasing, another fact that can be checked online! How that bastard Wendell Simlin twists the truth and uses it to mesmerized the equally bastard Nigerian Youth that will just scrap headlines and read the nonsense Wendell Simlin posts amazes and annoys me! Nigerians are a really dumb bunch! If Reno Omokri has succeeded in fooling Nigerians over and over again, even changing his identity one time to Wendell Simlin, to fool the same Nigerians again!!!!! Those of you waiting for "people with facts" to counter Wendell Simlin are some of the most stupid Nigerians ever! They are the ones that will take everything their pastors tell them hook line and sinker without research. Everything Reno has posted there is blatant rubbish! Meant for deluded minds but the "people with facts" gang have already been mesmerized with the audacity with which Wendell Simlin dishes out his "facts" that they're already bought over, without checking or researching to ! I will never take that criminal bastard, Wendell Simlin (Reno omokri) serious until he comes back to Nigeria and faces his corruption trial like FFK, Abati and Okupe. He was part of Jonathan's media gang that sprayed out money meant for soldiers in the North East, to Linda ikeji, punch and Thisday for PDP and Jonathan adverts. That's why he hasn't stepped foot in Nigeria since 2015. He has every reason to want Buhari out! 2 Likes 1 Share |

tuniski:Lol deluded mofo! It's in 2019 you'll realise that Nigerians may be criminals themselves but collectively as a group, we hate criminals like Atiku and Saraki and won't touch them with a long pole! Buhari didn't inherit a perfect Nigeria! Nigeria was a mess when he came 3years ago. It's sick and delusional for anyone to think Nigeria will be Dubai in 3years with everything that has been destroyed and stolen within the past 20years. For goodness sake every frigging day someone is arrested for stealing money meant for our development and growth! Even Atikus company INTELS was part of the looting and pilfering until NPA stopped it. How on earth can a country develop when Saraki and his gang are busy stealing and sabotaging every effort we make to move forward? One thing is for sure, the criminals (Atiku) and murderers (Saraki) will never be allowed an inch near our Presidential palace. 3 Likes |

Immediately I saw inflation at 8% under Jonathan to 15% now, I stopped reading. Inflation has gone done drastically since the Jonathan days. The only people I pity here are the unfortunate Nigerians that will just read the headlines and jump to the comment section to spew rubbish. If you guys make the sad mistake of allowing those scoundrels represented by Atiku and Saraki, to take over the reins of power, your ignorance would have cost you and your generations billions and billions of $USD that Saraki and Atiku are going to steal. Please sit down and read the real NBS report and not the snippets that the likes of FFK and Reno are pushing around to push their evil agenda. Reno, with Abati, FFK and Okupe, was the ones distributing Jonathan's largesse to media houses before the 2015 elections. He hasn't stepped foot in this country since then for obvious reasons. If you allow someone like that to influence the way you feel about the government back home, then I'm sorry for you! |

There's no way the US will be in of a fugitive couple becoming President and First lady of Nigeria. They already know Atikus antecedents. They know that once he becomes President mass looting will restart from the Jonathan era. They know that the Number of Nigerians seeking asylum in the US will double as Atiku, Saraki and their PDP gang would have plundered the entire country.

This is the popular Jennifer that helped Atiku launder $40million in the US. She and Atiku are fugitives from the US. I really wonder if Nigerians are daft or just plain stupid. Everything is online! How she and her husband cornered bribes and bought houses in the US with laundered money! Its all online! It baffles me how these same people can raise their heads again!
