Hello team, Please is it advisable to select all the provinces (or more than one province) when filling out your EE profile? I picked only one earlier and I'd now like to be selected for the PNP programs of other provinces. |

Jamaticulus:Hello bro. Thanks for this! Please i need to clarify - Does this updated POF requirement mean those awaiting ITA need to update their profiles or its those who already have ITA that need to update their profiles. |

No electricity anywhere, criminals kidnapping people nationwide, boko haram capturing towns, ESN and IPOD destroying the East and Nigerians on Nairaland are arguing about why Tinubu and Buhari are keeping Malice!!!!

The interesting thing for me here is that we know where these bandits live. We know what they do in their spare time. Yet we have an Army and police force that do absolutely nothing! They kidnap people and demand for money from known locations! The conspiracy of silence by the political and military leadership is suspicious and baffling.

Lagos shouldn't be borrowing money for this project. The money Tinubu was distributing in bullion vans should be enough to complete the entire project.

Domino18:Is this political class a subset of another country or the same Nigeria? The political class are first Nigerians before they assume political positions.I disagree with the idea of always heaping the blame on politicians because people who do so are unmindful of the fact that politicians didn't drop from the moon into leadership positions. They are you and me. Then there must be something about our society that makes people who go into political or leadership positions steal and abuse their power. I think its cultural. I think Nigerians have a cultural predilection to affluent display of wealth. Nigerians still view leadership in the 17th century context of kings and emperors. It is so prevalent that even a local government chairman is expected to have a retinue of aides and servants at his beck and call. Governors are expected to have a harem of girls to sleep with. Ministers are expected to be bowed and worshipped wherever they go. Until leadership in Nigeria is properly defined as service to the people, others will go into leadership positions and continue to assume the 17th century style of monarchs. 2 Likes |

prince3009:Tells you that religion is not a panacea for development. China is a Buddhist country amongst other religions. Faith is personal and is not reflected or measured by the size of auditoriums. Economic growth and development on the other hand come from deliberate efforts of a group of people to improve the quality of life of the generality of the population. Nigeria does not have that selfless group of people that will come together to create a strategy and action plan to improve everyones life. Today, Nigeria is like a bazaar where everyone comes and takes as much as they can and runs away to the UK and US. That group of people that will deliberately and selflessly fashion out a plan for growth and development will not emerge because of big church auditoriums. It comes from selflessness and sacrificial thinking. Its actually ironical that millions of Nigerians troop to mosques and churches everyday to learn about selfless and sacrifice but everyone is still busy looting for themselves and their families and generations unborn. 5 Likes |

Something is amiss. These auditoriums are filled every sunday! We should therefore have millions of very spiritually minded people in Nigeria. So What exactly is wrong here? Someone needs to conduct a research on it. 1 Like |

These easterners have no clue what they're doing. Crime will soon consume them becaise they have burnt down the courts, Prisons, police stations and every sign of law and order. Criminals don't segregate between Nigeria and Biafra.

neyyoh:What kind of question is this? Whose fault was it that the protests got out of control? The peaceful protesters in Lekki or the police that couldn't handle hoodlums that came out to attack people during the protests? |

Completely incompetent President. The governor of Lagos should sue the Federal government for negligence because under the archaic system of police we run and that Buhari would love to maintain, the President is incharge of security nationwide through the Federal police. It was the negligence of the Federal police that led to the burning of those buses. The peoole of Lagos didn't burn them, hoodlums did! They were able to because the Federal police failed to stop them. This incompetent President is always ing the buck. Same way he has criticized the benue governor for the insecurity in the state when he is directly responsible for deploying soldiers and even the federal police. Shameless and incompetent president with no vision, strategy or goals. His only strategy is "tell the governors". Complete train wreck of a President. 1 Like |

bunto:What on earth are you talking about? Have you lived abroad before? I have! I don't see it in movies, I have lived it! They have systems that work!!! Not because they have 2 heads, but because everyone is able and people don't sit in their homes and bitch or whine! Everyone is a stakeholder! They harass their leaders and demand everything from them. That is why their systems work. Whereas you would rather sit down in your house and enjoy 2hrs of electricity without complaining. That is a ridiculous way of living. If you don't ask/demand, you won't be given anything! And please stop this attitude of looking down on people that are brave enough to demand more from the system. They are the real heroes of democracy. They are the reason leaders think twice before they steal or abuse their power. Because they know there will be people ready to go out on the streets and make life hell for them if they mess up. Nobody takes a coward that sits at home and doesn't complain serious. 1 Like |

lexy2014:The annoying thing is that we really ought to have more than that number on the streets protesting and asking Buhari to go! Look at Nigeria, nothing is working! Fulani herdsmen ravaging the country and the President addresses the nation and tells everyone to tell the governors to adopt the traditional approach of security by consulting chiefs and elders!!!! That is the presidents strategy to stop kidnapping and bandicts!!! Look at Benue, people are slaughtered everyday and the President was busy sympathizing with Burkina Faso when people died. Its just a big shame that Nigerians are sitting at home and allowing Buhari to get away with chronic incompetence. Instead of coming out enmass and chasing the man away. |

modsfucker:He doesn't need to commit any impeachable offence. In Ukraine Yanukovych fled the state house after days of prolonged protests by people that didn't want him again. In georgia, Shevardnadze fled the state house in a chopper after protesters camped outside the state house and said they didn't want him there again. In Tunisia Ben ali fled in a chopper after protesters came out enmass and said they didnt want him again. The power belongs to the people in a democracy! It is very unfortunate that you do not know the power you hold. 1 Like |

HRMK:Nnamdi kanu is organising people to kill others. Besides being undemocratic, that is morally wrong. Nigerians on the other hand do not have access to stable electricity, are being killed like chickens everyday by fulani herdsmen and are suffering severe econmic hardship. Protest is their way of expressing dissatisfaction with the way things are and their way of saying the man they vited for, if he has any honour, should go so that someone that has the skills and knowledge to solve the country's problems can take over. Bros it is not okay to sit and keeo quiet. This is not a monarchy! In a democracy everybody with a voters card is a powerful stakeholder and has the right to ask questions and demand for change. If you are scared of the Nnamdi kanu approach to tackling issues well that is on you. But as for me, i know what democracy is and will not keep quiet and do nothing in the midst of all the chaos in Nigeria today. Nigeria is the plan B of millions of people. They have to speak out because their lives depend on it! 1 Like |

modsfucker:Bro i think you really need to read up on what democracy is. I don't think you know what it is. Because what you're saying angers you is exactly what democracy is. The basic principle of democracy is the "people". The people decide to elect you, the people decide you're good or not good enough and the people remove you. It's all about the people. The fact that we have cowards in Nigeria that mistake monarchy for democracy doesn't mean that is the true colour of democracy. How can a President that enjoyed a democratic ascent to power suddenly say protests are not allowed in the same democracy you piggubacked off to become President. The day even 50% of Nigerians realise what real democracy is and how bad they've been cheated. They will be really angry. |

HRMK:Those youths taking part in the "senseless protest" are the real heroes of our time. They are the ones that truly love Nigeria. While other Nigerians sit at home, keep quiet and suffer an oppressive and incompetent government, they go out and protest and say enough is enough! They want change! That is the difference between cowardice and bravery. Those youths do not have a plan B! Nigeria is their Plan B. 1 Like |

modsfucker:Bros you have no idea what democracy is. Protest is one of the manifestations of a democracy. When people are freely able to express their views about their leaders and demand change. Democracy is a system of government where it is the people that decide. If the people don't want you, they protest and then you either resign and leave or they instruct their reps to impeach you. That is how a democracy should work. You guys have been so oppressed for so long that you have no clue. Buhari is not a monarch! He was elected by the people. The people can also say they don't want him again. An election is not fait accompli until 4 years. All through those 4years you are still able to the people. 1 Like |

Shetemi12:That is the essence of democracy! This is the mistake most Nigerians make. This is not a monarchy or obaship. The people put Buhari in power. The people can decide they don't want him again and peacefully protest or instruct their reps in the house to impeach him. That my friend is the system of government we practise. |

Mexzy4sho:Agree with you. Interview with zero inspiration. For the first time in a long time we have a leader that has no vision or strategy. He has no connect at all to pressing national issues. We have a major "state of emergency" security crisis in Nigeria and the man sits there and talks about telling to governors to go back to the old ways and speak to traditional rulers and chiefs!!! Incredible!!!! I however blame Nigerians for their current predicament. You voted in a man that just kept making noise about his humility. No vision or strategy whosoever. A 70 something year old man that is stuck in his ways clearly cannot articulate any strategy for anyone. I'm 100% sure he avoided the twitter topic because he has no idea what twitter is! 2 Likes |

Welcome to Nigeria! Where the rich use the publicly funded police to protect themselves from the poor! Where the poor hail the rich when they use public money to protect themselves from the poor. Where nobody does/says anything about it else they'll be told to go and hustle and make their own money so they can also oppress the poor. Vicious cycle! BTW Incase we're all wondering why we don't have enough policemen to protect Iganga, Imo, Benue and Eboyin, its because they're all too busy protecting Davido, Dangote, Zlatan, Naira marley and Don jazzy. Because the publicly funded police in Nigeria belongs to the highest bidder. |

Coldshisha:Anybody that loves Lagos and by extension, Nigeria, in its current state really needs to do some personal introspection. Lagos is a completely messed up city. The potential to be great is there but dark forces like Tinubu and his NURTW thugs like MC oluomo will not let Lagos grow. |
![]() |
Coldshisha:You should go and read former ambassador John campbell's take on Nigeria. He described Nigeria as fragmented and segmented with warlords and their armies controlling the different parts, like Somalia! He further stated that governance and the government has failed in doing anything and only caters to the elite. Tinubu is the warlord of Lagos. He has used his militia, the NURTW to torment and extort people during elections and at motor parks. Lagos state today cannot enjoy a modern transport system because the NURTW makes so much money from the disorganized system that runs now. Of course they pay their taxes to Tinubu. If you think Lagos is anywhere near where it ought to be, think again. You have no idea how messed up it is. The day Tinubu leaves the scene will be the day you'll realise how far back that man has taken the state. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Complete nonsense from Ezeife. We all saw the videos of those ESN/IPOD people shooting on the streets in Imo while igbos were hailing them. So Igbos were hailing fulani herdsmen? |
