I don't understand why the NJC has not summoned Justice John Tsoho to explain why he gave an ambiguous and vague "status quo" injunction which Criminal lawyers like Ozekhome are now peddling around to subvert the wishes of the people and to also subvert already laid down legal Precident. Ozekhome should be reported to the Legal Priviledges committee responsible for checking the excesses of Lawyers. We can't have a lawyer that goes around buying judgements and subverting the law.

Well, I am fed up with all these everyday drama. I expect her to provide evidence of the funds in her . I think the government should also look at Turai Yaraduas , Miriam Abachas e.t.c
The FG has been seizing money from the Abachas since 1999, I don't think Maryam has written any petition to anyone to stop the seizures or forfeitures. It's this local village former first lady patience, that thinks the world revolves around her that wants to intimidate everyone because we're trying to recover our money that she stole from us. Stupid illiterate woman.

The Court ordered a status quo be maintained, if INEC goes ahead, the Senate will disregard this exercise irrespective of the outcome and Dino will continue to sit tight in the Senate

BTW Dino has not been silenced like you think. He was even the one who called Magu a mere DPO on Tuesday and called on the Senate not to confirm any new nominees until magu is removed from office
Please understand the law. The court in Abuja did not stop the recall process. A recall is like an election and no court can order for a recall to be stopped. There is legal precedence to that effect as a court of apeal has already ruled in a previous case. The court was very explicit when it said denied Melayes exparte application to halt the recall, ordering that the status quo be maintained. Meaning INEC will go ahead with the way things were previously which is to recall the Senator.

Although I don't corruption, but I don't believe all you've written there.
1. We can smell the lies and propaganda, its oozing out from this government and their unreliable agencies.
2. The EFCC under the guise of investigation have the right to send a message to BE
3. which dumb documents are you asking for? As if seeing the document changes anything.

A government that cannot disclose the health challenge of his president is a fraud.
A government that deceives the masses under the guise of fighting corruption is a fraud.
I will not in calling Nigeria a zoo, all I know is that dumb people are busy running the country and their end will come soon.
I have no idea what Buhari in London has to do with patience Jonathan and her magical 35 million dollars in Skye bank. This lady has money she can't for. She's been asked to explain the source and she can't. Where's the persecution coming from? If she didn't steal money would the EFCC be chasing after her? She fraudulently opened a dom in someone else's name but with her signature. She's even lucky she's not been charged to court based on that fraudulent offence. The EFCC is even giving her small respect and she's busy making noise.

The allegations against our client by the EFCC were duly investigated by the UK authorities and other international bodies who found the reports baseless and thereupon issued the visa and other travel documents to our client.”

So after EFCC gragra, she still got her VISA.

Hmm
It's funny how people can't smell lies and propaganda even when it punches them in the face. The EFCC cannot write the British government not to issue anyone a Visa except the British embassy asked for the expert opinion of the EFCC. Patience should release documents to prove that the EFCC wrote the British government and documents to prove that the British government exonerated her after investigating her.
Tissue of lies.

Propaganda post.
That one or two people wore it doesn't mean "Youths" wore it. Same thing they did the other day when Patience was invited for questioning by the EFCC and Jonathan was visiting the north. One or two thugs were organised to scream "sai Jonathan" and one nonentity came to post on nairaland that Northerners want Jonathan back. I'm not surprised they're pulling another stunt because Jonathan has been invited to the house of Reps concerning his Malabu dealings.

Ekiti state money in action. After looting from the 1.2billion poultry project to build houses for his mum in Ibadan and after spending Jonathan's Largesse on Ozekhome and his house in Banana Island and the one he used his sister to buy in Abuja, I wonder what he's leaving behind for the people of Ekiti. Shame!

Magu came in in 2015. Are we going to harass Magu for The incompetence of whoever was head of anti corruption agencies when Abachas wife was first lady? Besides if anyone has a corruption petition against Turai Yar'adua or Maryam Abacha today, the person is free to drop the petition at the EFCC odfice. Least we forget, Jonathan's wife came into the picture when the EFCC was prosecuting someone else entirely and stumbled on money whose source and ownership no one knew. Patience was the one that came to claim money whose source she couldn't explain.

These people are indirectly stealing from Osun state! The tax from Adeleke University is Osun State money not Davido's father's money or Aregbes money.

Here you are talking nonsense again and mentioning me. Do you know the law at all? Please speak factually and intelligently without making populist statements. You're just trying to sound like you're making sense while all you're saying is trash. Its really unfortunate how ignorant the average youth can be especially when it comes to serious national discuss.... We get too emotional and triblistic over issues... Have any of us taking our time to study the under lying issues here, have checked the limits of executive powers in a democracy... These arms of government have independent powers as enshrined in the constitution.. If Senate confirmation is not relevant then the executive should not brother forwarding name to them.. You cannot Choose a part of the constitution to obey and the one not to obey.. Every provision of the constitution is for needed synergy between the arms of government. The executive has flouted these provision for too long including bold disobedience of court orders, lies and out right deceit. If we the youth of this country still rely on these politicians for information on governance then we will never get it right in this country. Let our hatred or love for one politician over another not rob us of our sense of unbiased analysis of issues. God bless us
Rubbish!
Osinbajo was speaking from a legal perspective when he said the EFCC act that allows the National Assembly screen appointees to the EFCC chair is subservient to the section 171 of the constitution that allows the President appoint, without recourse to the NA, anyone to the board of Federal agencies. Every known constitutional lawyer in this country has sided with the Acting President on this. Every first year student of Law should even know this. Instead of the Senate to do the proper thing and seek final confirmation from the Supreme court in order to set the Precident for future cases, they are trying to Blacmail the Acting President because most of them are under EFCC investigation. And you are here spewing rubbish in their . Shame on you.

all I see here on NL is the collective foolishness of Nigerians. The legislators claim to be checking the excesses of the Executive, who then is checking the excesses of the legislators? We the electorate are the ones saddled with that responsibility and We're failing! How should we check the legislators? Is it by posting useless comments on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram that carry no weight whatsoever? or is it by shouting "Saraki olè" on the streets of Illorin? No! It is by using your democratic right to recall whoever it is that is misbehaving in the Senate or House of Reps.
Once these people realise that they are truly able to US, they won't dare do what we don't want. Simple!

Sowore did not shake anybody down. If he did, the former governor should publish his call logs or present the recorded conversation where Sowore asked for money. You should try to analyse issues before posting. This man was caught pants down with hookers in a hotel room and his only defence is "I was blackmailed". Fashola already explained the N20billion would be for unmitigated expenses like the two bridges that collapsed in the north earlier this month. Nobody planned for them to happen but because of their importance, they will have to be repaired this month. The minister said this much during the budget defence which was broadcast live. He even said it before those bridges collapsed and like a prophet, we actually do need this money to rebuild them ASAP.
Those thieves in the NA are just playing on the intelligence of Nigerians. They know the truth.

That message was conducted by BBC Hausa.

http://www.bbc.com/hausa/labarai-39644765

The mistake his handlers did was, knowing the complexity of Nigeria and how some people already want to massacre Buhari for any slightly error, they ought to have made him do an English language version.

People around him are shortsighted.

Even I know better
Stop spreading false information. No interview was Granted. Garba shehu released an officual statement purportedly from Buhari. Garba shehu released the translated text in English. The "Presidency" later leaked the original audio recording of the speech which they leaked to the BBC in order to create the impression that nothing was wrong with Buhari, especially after that Sahara reporters exposè.
No interview was conducted!

O have no idea where you people are getting your own facts from but Buhari never granted any interview. Nobody has spoken to this man or even knows where he is since he left the country. The "Presidency" released this latest audio tape. It wasn't a BBC interview! What is worrisome bow is that the Office of the President of Nigeria is making official releases in Hausa. This is an indication that Abba Kyari and his clannish people are plotting something sinister that I'm sure Buhari is unaware of.

The absurdity of a sitting President authorising an official government release in his native language is just mind blowing. Buhari has really gone senile.

I think Sahara reporters is spot on when they say Buhari is senile and is unaware of his surroundings. How can a serving president that knows that there are currently deep seated ethnic agitation in the country, come out and address the country in his ethnic language. This is the number one evidence that truly, Buhari has lost his reasoning.
