With all the ultimatum they were giving I thought before I finished reading this piece I would see a paragraph where they wrote "Oya come tomorrow,'
"Or come with the budget on Friday '

Instead the spokesman Georgia just kept telling us old events that are ed.

It all shows that initial 48 hours ultimatum was to embarrass the Governor, expecting that he won't meet up.

So you expect him to forget his home BCS he becomes president of 4 or 8 years ? You think everyone will be like those that left their father land for business and later claiming no man's land when they forgot where they come from?
He better face his home before Peter Obi will thrash him again in 2027.

As much as I hate this man I still have to it he's very politically conscious and responsive..

Reminds me of a certain Muhammadu Buhari.

If it was Buhari and this was happening in Katsina the man would never say a word or lift a finger..

He will just tell them, 'go and sort yourselves' elect whoever you want.

"Baa' ruwa na!"

As usual ignorant Nigerians with their slave mentality will politicize the question.

Those who love Tinubu will say Wike, those who hate Tinubu will say El Rufai.

But for me the better FCT Minister among the two is Barrister Mallam Nyesom El Rufai.

Did Uba Sani bite El Rufai's hand?

Is he an ungrateful fool?

He should keep thanking God he didn't choose someone like Felix Obuah, Thompson Sekibo or Austin Opara as governor.

He for don relocate from PH.

BTW he didn't choose Fubara because he loved Fubara,,

He chose Fubara because he saw his as that quiet fool whom he could use as a stooge for his 3rd term.

He wanted someone he could control and still be in charge not because he loved Fubara.

He sent the letter yesterday..

Martin did not answer him.

He called, Martin still didn't answer.

So he decided to go there.

If it was too sudden then why didn't Martin write back or call him to say it was too sudden, don't come today?

You see trouble makers?

They were taken unawares, lol.

They couldn't let him in because Wike has not yet told them what to say...

By the time Wike summons them later today and he tells them what to say to Fubara,,
They will invite him again.

I am still surprised to hear the Supreme Court telling us how Fubara destroyed the House of Assembly..

Who argued that case before them? Where they there when Fubara destroyed the complex..

Supreme Court now doing the work of Police?

They were able to talk about destruction of the house but couldn't talk about false affidavits??

Yet that man sitting there quoting rule of law!

President Tinubu is quite wise and I'm happy that he told the "elders" the simple truth.
Shebi when he intervened earlier, they said it was wrong and he was politically siding with one person against the other.
Now that the "law" has determined the outcome, let them go and obey the rule of law.

See as baba emphasized the "written and signed" by all parties. grin
Now that the "law" has spoken.
😁😁😁

Who is that law?

Is that "law" not a human being?

No be one woman from Lagos?

The man who subjugated his rights and life to another is the one who is playing on the emotions of the people via sentiments. That is what it is and nothing more.

Whatever they choose to do is their business and not the business of Rivers people though it seems like it is but it never was and is.

Wike will remain their Principal of all of them who rode and rose on his shoulders to where they are today even the governor who is in disagreement with his principal over what is not Rivers business.

So, they will sort themselves out one way or the other.
The one who sees far should know what to do and not get himself dirtied like a pig in a mud.
Typical thinking in a black African country..

Subjugate all rights and dignity of your life to another man because he feeds you and pays your bills.

We should be ashamed of some of the things we it to.

It's even better to pretend about such things.

But you initially claimed that he will not recognize the lawmakers or deal with them and that he will wait till the high court case on defection is settled na. Stick to one place, all your predictions have failed just like Fubara's.
What are you smoking?

Did anyone say that before the Supreme Court judgement?

Of course we all know that the Supreme Court judgement has neutralized the case at the High Court....

The Supreme Court jumped into a case that was not even brought before it.

Everyone knows this.

The Supreme Court has shown with this case how really fallible it could be.

You seem to have reduced our laws to nonsense and think we will walk in the old ways for ever where governors feeling like emperor's and showing rascality.

If the ultimatum is within the confines of the law then it's not disrespectful.
, that the governor himself before now has said he does not recognize them as of the house and that in itself is disrespectful judging by the law.

If you still think by this invite he intends to prove that he is the boss then he is still walking on the path of failure as it concerns the entirety of this whole political drama.

The people he claimed that will die of hunger, he shouldn't be calling them for a meeting regarding their entitlements. He ought to have instructed the necessary office to do that immediately. They are not at his mercy but he is at their mercy.

There is no way he will win this fight if he continues like this. There is no way and if he wants to appeal to sentiments and use of psychology on Rivers people then that's is his business.

The position is legislators in a democracy is a very honorable one..

They are even called honorables...

But all that honour goes to the dust when they are being controlled and dictated to, by one man...

That's the problem here!

One man tells them what to do, where to go, what to say...

And such a bunch of nitwits and punks will be issuing ultimatums!

One of the lawmakers even said they won't honour any invitation for what he did to their principal..

grin grin grin

You should be reminded that the legislators are not stooges to/of the governor.
Rivers State is just a case study and with time such will be replicated in the entirety of the nation.

The question you ought to ask is if the 48 hours ultimatum is lawful or unlawful and what does the law say about duration for such?
Definitely not.

Summoning the Chief executive is not out of place.

But giving an ultimatum is plain disrespectful...

But it's lawful and Fubara has to abide.

Fubara has in turn invited them...He knows they won't come but it's just a subtle reminder that he is the boss of the state.

I thought you fellas say Wike has the judiciary in his hands and has bought them off and buying judgment in his favour....

So why agree that the governor is only bowing to the supreme court order and not also to Wike !!?

Or do you now no longer agree that the judiciary has not been bought by Wike and he does do same with judgments?
This deduction is terribly out of place.

Lemme just put it this way for you;

If Wike has to go through the Supreme Court to nail Fubara then he's nothing but an overrated plant.

Sebi you get power, you be political wizard, you be powerful politician,,

Why run to Supreme Court to help you nail Fubara?

Think of it that way.

Lol 😆😆😆….

If you’re wise you will know that Politics is War and in war everything is fair….

Animals fight for territory and fight to death to defend not destroy their territory….

If Wike backs down from his fight like you want him to…. Fubara will just turn himself into the next unstoppable monster…. Obaseki should be a case study for you….

Animals fight for territories.

That's why the use of the word "animal" to qualify humans both as a similie and as a metaphor is greatly insulting..

Like I said every godfather should fail.

If Fubara tries to act like Wike tomorrow by installing a successor in a bid to control the resources and people, let him fail as well.

The world ought to have gone beyond animalist behaviors.

Lol, they have given him bigger insults so taking a small one means nothing... Fubara is the one begging now and being diplomatic, something he should have done since. He's a loser guy
Only in the mind of cowards, is he a loser.

In the hearts of many Rivers people on the streets he is a fighter not a coward.

He is obeying the Supreme Court, not bowing to a godfather,,, I hope you know this.

We all how people insulted Ambode, for doing what you wanted Fubara to do...

If he had just bowed down and allowed Wike possess his soul,,
Am sure people like you would be calling him a coward today..

I repeat,, he is obeying the Supreme Court not bowing to Wike.

That's a man!

A big insult. But also exposes Fubara's persistent disregard for the HoA, Nigeria's constitution and utter incompetence as a governor and empty arrogance
Also the HOA's disregard for the governor.

They obviously still see him as a small boy, a boy who should never have been governor.

I have never seen anywhere in this country where a HOA gave a governor anything like a summon talkless of a 48 hour ultimatum.

What Fubara did is just a deliberate tit for tat.
