As someone who’s bored to death of Marvel and DC, I have no idea why I love The Boys so much. This season has been phenomenal.

oyaskii: This is just not true. The group were in synergy, working towards one goal, and even when they are separated, they are still working towards that one goal. The moving pieces are few, controlled and have a purpose. Everything goes to shit in Season 4 Vol. 1, where many pieces are no longer in synergy or working closely together. Instead of just one goal, there are multiple goals now. It just doesn't feel as well structured as previous seasons. It's a mess. The long episodes would be completely fine if they weren't super-stretched out fillers. 4 Likes 1 Share |

oyaskii: The introduction of Bob was super necessary. He played two crucial roles towards the plot's advancement, the first of which resulted in the mind flayer possessing Will, and the second resulted in Joyce and co safely escaping the demagorgon-infested facility. Unlike Bob's, Suzie's and Jason's subplots are both getting in the way of the plot's advancement. The writing in general is been bogged down by two many moving pieces. The longer episodes are a drag. I like long episodes, but I believe they should be reserved for finales or pilots. With the unnecessary subplots and such, it makes the episodes tedious to watch. I'm hoping Vol. 2 will clean up most of the mess Vol. 1 made and finish strong, because the writing has been the weakest it's ever been since this show began. 4 Likes |

Stranger Things S4 is overrated. For me it's 3>1>2>4 Don’t get me wrong, I am very much enjoying S4, but something seems off about it for me in some ways. Some tighter writing and removal of some characters would help out a lot. There are 4 different groups right now. There should be two (3 at most). The Suzie cheaper by the dozen subplot is completely useless, and the Jason subplot is going nowhere. 4 Likes 1 Share |

I'm surprised no one has mentioned this. Scanning the QR code on the sealed box is the quickest way to determine an original Samsung device. It should take you to a Samsung website that lists all of the specifications. 2 Likes |

Superpower: You missed the part where I said "he itted to having plastic surgery done to aid the condition." In essence, he surgically bleached the darker parts of his skin to match the vitiligeous parts. He also did some work on his nose, chin and hair, cos if you're suddenly white, you've to look the part. He embraced his new looks cos why not? 1 Like |

Kolena: Not really. Michael Jackson was a black man who had Vitiligo. There is no question about whether he was black or white because he was clearly black. Casting anyone other than a black man to play him would be as ridiculous as casting a black man to play Jack Chan in a biopic. 2 Likes |

blingxx: Michael Jackson was a black man who had a skin condition called Vitiligo. People assumed that he bleached his skin, but in reality, his skin lightened over time because his immune system killed his melanocytes (cells that produce skin pigment). He went public with the news in an Oprah interview and itted to having plastic surgery done to aid the condition. So basically, his physical transition from black to white wasn't voluntary, it was completely out of his control. It'd be a travesty if someone other than a black man portrays him in a biopic. 3 Likes |
