Gaza’s only power station has stopped working after the fuel needed for generating electricity ran out on Wednesday, Gaza officials said.

“Gaza is currently without power,” the head of the Gaza power authority, Galal Ismail, told CNN.

The power plant’s shutdown comes two days after the Israeli government said it would order a “complete siege” of the Palestinian enclave, closing off access to electricity, food, fuel and water in response to the surprise attack launched by Hamas on Israel that killed at least 1,200 people.

People in Gaza still use power generators for electricity, but with a blockade on all sides of the border, the fuel needed for generators to work is running out, Ismail said.

The Palestinian health ministry warned that hospitals are set to run out of fuel on Thursday, leading to “catastrophic” conditions.

The Hamas-controlled coastal enclave has been hammered by Israeli airstrikes that have killed 1,055 people and wounded 5,184 others, according to the health ministry. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) says it is targeting Hamas terrorists, but the densely populated nature of Gaza – 2 million people living in 140 square miles – means that civilians are often caught in the crossfire.

The result has been a humanitarian crisis that has displaced more than 236,000 Gazans, according to the United Nations Office for Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA). That number is expected to rise further.

Israel also seems to have removed some of its previous guardrails on its rules of engagement meant to protect civilians. Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant said Tuesday that he had “released all restraints” on the IDF in their fight against Hamas.

The enclave is under a power blackout after Israel has stopped all fuel, food and other essential supplies according to Al Jazeera

This is the best analysis I have read on this election. And it is exactly what they are doing.

So, the election results should be rejected. Tinubu did not and can not get up to 10% votes in South South and South East.

But Peter Obi can get up to 30% votes in South West.

But they manipulated it so he won't get the desired spread.

I was even okay with Tinubu clearing his SW apart from Lagos, hoping the surely the same thing will happen to Obi in the SE, SC, and NC, only to start seeing APC going head to head with LP in the south and winning some states too

That is the reason they avoided ing the results electronically so they can manipulate them the way they like!

According to first day statistics, Obi had Lagos and Abuja and the NC, SE and SS on lock with most states delivering above 500K+ votes, while going head to head in Kaduna and some Yoruba states like Ogun…..INEC will tell us where these shortened results are coming from

Like you can clearly see the pattern.,,they’re fast closing the gap because states like Lagos and Edo supposed to be very high cos of the voters turnout but suddenly they’re manufacturing figures for APC there

It’s supposed to be Maurice Iwu but Mahmoud’s silence and blind-eye to the electoral frauds going on even with the availability of technological tools makes him the worst ever!

The strategy is to dwarf the votes from concentrated Labour Party places and replace them with smaller margins against APC, while APC dominated areas like the SW will win with high margins against LP.

Edo state gave more votes than this to LP, same with Lagos, same with Rivers and Akwa ibom.

They’ll be like “Obi won Lagos and so so so” to pacify us when in reality the voting margin will not be up to 100k!
