Small question here, how helpful and important is an official letter of from ones proposed supervi sor (in Canada) in visa application ?

Oga, why are you going for Diploma when you av two diplomas already (OND and IATA diplomas). You might have problems with purpose of visit. I would advise you apply for an advanced Diploma course.

hello everybody in the house!!! am new to this forum,i have read thru previous travelling part and am very impress. i need you guys advice on my case. i have offer from Grande prairie regional college(public own) to study Hospitality and Tourism Management diploma for 2years for fall 2015 session. The tution fee is 7200 CAD per year + 10000 CAD Living expenses and i have made deposit of 2500 CAD to the college from my salary .How soon can i apply for my study permit as i need be in the school by mid-august. below is my profile.

1. 30yrs old.

2. Ordinary National Diploma in Mathematics and Statistics, 2009.

3.professional certificate in IATA/UFTAA Foundation and EBT course Diploma from Montreal 2009.

4.married with one kid.

5. salary is 340k per month.

6.My salary balance is 1m.

6.working in a Travel Agency from 2009 till date.

7.have been to south africa on three occasion, kenya once, uk and refusal stamp.

8.my spornsor is a family friend with 20m acct balance, he work with shell.

Oga, securing a guaranteed suervisor makes life a lot easier. Once I secured a PhD supervisor, I got an ission 2 days after applying to Uni of Regina. Its that easy.

Im so glad to be here again. Im sorry my question might have been asked and answered before but pls pardon me. Pls can anyone tell me the Canadian Universities or Colleges that accept 2.2 for Masters. This is just to help me streamline my research.

I applied on the 12th of january for PhD spring/summer 2015. Guys pls look into the docs submitted. Thanks.

Waec certificate,
BSc (Agriculture) certificate and transcripts
MSc (food safety) certificate and transcript (UK uni)
Birth certificate,
Certificate of origin
Letter of introduction showing reason for docs submitted
Letter of explanation showing reasons for choice of PhD program and canada
Intl port and photocopies of UK visa page
Evidence of registration into MPhil(food science) prog in OAU ( this is to serve as proof of current activity)
Award certificate for best MSc project from the UK)

Uni of Regina docs:
Letter of acceptance showing 25,800 CAD funding for the first year.
Letter from my proposed supervisor showing continued funding at 21,000 CAD
Official fee schdeule for the uni.

Sponsor docs:
Certified copies of CAC docs, tax clearance and compliance with industrial requirements.
Bank acct statement ending with 25M
Notarised letter of sponsorship with sponsorship offered at 5m
Pics taken wt sponsor
Phtocopies of sponsors intl port and visa pages.

I just submitted an appl for study permit at VAC oregun (paper route). I wish all awaitees all the best of grace and favour.

Pls paper routers, do we have to fill the study permit questionnaire? Its not on the official CIC page. Moreover I have a well-detailed SOP already. Is the questionnaire a must ?

Mine was printed on Dec 10 2014. I plan to apply at VAC on monday. I think we shld be fine. Guys in the house, pls look into this

Bro try not...it is better you print another SOA...by next week mon it will be over 1 month u printed it,Moreover,it is stated in the study permit-checklist (bolded)PRINT INCLUDING THE MONTH OF SUBMISSION.

Hi Anugoson, it says "Original plus one copy of certified bank statement(s) or financial investments with past six months history including your submission month or ending one month prior" I think I'm still okay with the statement seeing as January 10 is a weekend.

Also can I add my scholarship funds plus my sponsors offer to put in the box showing "amount available for intended stay. This is still not clear to me. Pls help.
