I honestly dnt see any thing rude or condescending in that 3yrs old's remark bcs this is common wit most child of this age bracket, it's now d parents duty to guard them in their utterances as they grow.

Dis thread reminds me of a particular incident that happened recently btw my daughter and a neighbor who came into d room to see me, midway into our conversation I heard my 3yr old girl talking loudly outside bt I wasn't concentrating so I didn't hear was she was saying until d neighbor wit me in d room shouted 'Ha' did u hear wat ur kid said? I said no so I listened myself, I couldn't help but laugh when I finally heard what she was goin about:
My kid: Anty so u put on slippers into our room ehn?
So u r still there, u will not come nd put ur slippers outside abi?
Even me I didn't realize this lady wore her slippers in until my kid spoke nd this happened bcs this lady herself don't allow my daughter to bring her footwear into their room whenever she goes there to play with her niece but she found it offensive when my daughter corrected her in the same vein.

For 3 weeks I left my work to look after my ailing dad who was itted in a govt hospital, I happened to be d only daughter in d midst of 5boys.
I cnt count how many times I go up nd down d stairs everyday getting numerous tests done nd also goin to look for his assigned medical consultant that will evaluate d result.
Every morning when I get there all d elderly patients in his ward always have a prayer or two for me nd I was always happy.
My favorite was Veteran actor Mr. Tunde Alabi despite his amputated leg, he remains his very bubbly self always having a smile nd joke for everyone every time

This is problem with hand injuries, very delicate to manage and gives deformity that impairs function if not properly managed. Nigeria needs specialised hand surgeons to treat these problems. Many of them cannot be corrected after many weeks of neglect or poor management. Some of these injuries require simple treatments like a splint or manipulation etc. Unfortunately the awareness is not very high in Nigeria.

I never bothered taking it to d hospital bcs of my tight working schedule then.
I'm thinking now if maybe I had gone to d hospital it might have not turned out this way.

My mum fractured her wrist too several years ago and she went to d hospital but I guess a shoddy job was done on it bcs till date her wrist looks like that of d Op bt not swollen tho and d good thing is she doesn't feel any pain in it nd it functions as it should.

I have the same related issue but mine is my last little finger, it has refused to stand up right.

Mine is d 4 fourth finger and it doesn't give me any discomfort so I have no cause for worries.
It got bent when I held unto a bus conductor cloth for refusing me my balance, all I knew was I heard a snapping sound when he forcefully dragged his cloth from my grip, I didn't wince in pain o instead I held him again with d 2nd hand till people nd d driver intervened.
It was not until I got to work that I knew what happened to me and that area(lekki) it was hard getting a balm to massage it immediately not until I got home and that's d result u see there...

I several yrs ago in school when I was dating a guy I was deeply in love with nd I believed he loved me too.
I had too many to drink one night that I opened my mouth nd was spewing God knows wat, but I boasting of been a heart breaker and was really proud of it. Fast forward to d following week d guy started behaving funny, he wouldn't see me nor answer my calls i was so emotionally distraught, when I eventually saw him this guy told me point blank that he's done with me as he's broken my record of breaking guys heart first, was I stunned? Yes!
I thot I wouldn't survive that heartbreak o, bt I thank God 2day...
