It is usually not a big deal. There will be time for induction into the team and they might organize trainings for you on their tech tools. Most time no pressure in the NHS. It will also be beneficial for you to learn SQL and some Excel. Congrats obalala: 3 Likes 2 Shares |

You do not need any of those for your school application nor visa, but I will recommend you get the police clearance report if you can as some jobs require it as part of their documentation in the UK. It is done in Alabgon, Lagos. PS: Not compulsory though. cliqtips: |

There are several missing information here and its better you are quite open to get the best advice. During biometrics, your port should be submitted except you choose to keep it with you, why was it in the hands of the agent? Secondly, I do not understand why you agree to use an email which you do not have access to for an application. Now, its difficult to get any response through email from home office as they will need to you through the email on your application. An option for you will be to give a call to home office (even though they recently said they will not be giving any information through calls as regards applications) but you can still try. Second option is to appeal to your agent to get the email details so you could send a paid email and if the appeal does not work, na to force the guy by whatever means you can (its up to you). Firstly, your reason for selecting 'unemployed' is quite vague and should have been retired even if you could not get the pension document. This can be corrected in the next application but you need to also draft up a very good cover letter to detailed that aspect and the error you made in the last application and also outline the reasons for the error. Then if you are able to get the pension documents, its also fine. Looking at the reason for refusal, the VO is more concerned about her own circumstance as regards finances and living in Nigeria, I am not sure exactly what you stated in the application and it will be beneficial to go through what you answered in the question 'Do you have another income or savings / What kinds of regular income do you have'. You stated that she will be spending £1500 for the traveling and that is over N1m for someone who is unemployed nor have a regular income, that will be an area for a VO to capitalize on. Look back properly into the previous application and identify the mistake, then correct them before putting up your new application and then do not forget the cover letter as it is supposed to answer all the many questions the VO might have. It is good practice to back up any actual or intending grey areas with your letter. I also still recommend getting docs from the seller business. sandra50: |

Firstly, you need to understand that you will not be present to explain all the excuses to the VO and decision will only be made from the proofs and documents available to the VO to decide on. If the 250k payment has been on for a long period (a year and above) then it might be no problem as you need to prove that and also show all documents of the business and then show those payments as your salary from the business. For any month that was skipped, you need to give a detailed explanation on the reason it was skipped and how you intend to fix it. Finally, if it appears complicated to you, then it will most def be more complicated to the VO and that is an easy route for refusal. If it is a business trip, then you should be able to show all documentation regarding that, previous trips made, your s in the UK and proof of them doing business, they should also be able to give you a cover letter for the business and finally your registration and operation as a business in Nigeria should be proved. Once your home work is done properly, nothing can refuse your application. sandra50: |

It depends on exactly your reason for travelling. If you are going to visit family, then you will need invitation/cover letter from them. You will also not need to provide hotel proofs as they will need to show that they can accommodate you with documents. If you are going for tourism, then you do not need any invitation whatsoever but need to prove all you can as regards accommodation and funds. sandra50: |

No one is going to write loads of stories on how the process is done. Your first step is to check the foundation thread here: https://nairaland.unblockandhide.com/127964/general-uk-visa-enquiries Second visit https://www.gov.uk/standard-visitor And lastly, ask direct questions here. Based on the fact that you are coming in as a student, you will still be tied on to the 20 hours per week ability to work. So you will earn within the range available for temporary/bank jobs. Your qualification/education is a good one but will not matter a lot as you are still under the study visa, you might try to get a job with sponsorship while you are in but there is absolutely no guarantee on that. Good luck Mashaunola: 2 Likes |

First, please understand that there is no set timing for moving into tech. Some might spend 6 moths, some will be less and some will be more. Several factors determine the transition period. There are opportunities for Frontend guys, you might as well decide to push it up to full stack if you like but that will be you topping up your skills. In as much as it is impossible to know ALL about the field, it is vital to have some basic knowledge and also have basic skills required to perform several tasks. Learning is continuous. You might try to develop a portfolio/GitHub profile as this will show potential employers that you have such experience or undertaken such projects. I would say you should do all your preparations (CV/Portfolio) and begin to apply once you get in as most guys like to you immediately they see your CV to understand your position and also discuss more about the job. Also bear in mind that lots of employers seek 'UK' experience but this should not stop you. You might also like to do a bit of volunteering if you like. Sample CVs can be ed online and then you can fine tune it or get someone to assist with that. Good luck to you my friend. IamE: 3 Likes 1 Share |

While I am not certain nor sure about the route for psychologists, I know it will not be difficult for you getting a job as MHSW. Your experience in MH will be useful but most organisations require at least 6 months of UK experience, so you might have to get in to other jobs then move into MH once you able to. Also, you will need some trainings such as PMVA and MAPA, this is based on Trusts and some agencies give you for free. Wish you luck. Adewumi2888: |

It is not illegal for you to study in the UK on a Tier 2 visa, being completely online does not matter one bit. I would say it is better off focusing on specialist courses instead of a general computer science, courses in Data, CyberSec, Full Stack, etc will benefit you more. Also, take note that if he is studying in a Uni, then his fee will be much different from yours and lastly do not be moved by what someone brags about. Find your own ion and route. Not compulsory, but I would say its better to tick off all boxes. Some of the newspaper advert cost around NGN5k-10k, so you should prolly get it done with. Thenext: |

How do you mean present? Most s can be opened off your phone/laptop and some will need you coming into the bank for physical verification. The is not for her so there will be no need for her to be present. I assume you have got your documents such as port/brp etc. obitryce: 1 Like |
