This Reno of a guy is a just is a great disappointment . Bauchi is a multi cultural, religious state. Instead of Reno to speak against the barbarity of closing a school down because of the faith of a certain set of people. He is here attacking the Igbos indirectly. Grow up. Bogoro LG is a wholly christian dominated. So tell me that the whole 30 days those ones and the traditionalist will sit down because of someone else's faith. Nonsense of the highest order. Tinubu should watch out for that bauchi guy so as not to influence others wrongly . my one cent
where did you also condemn arbitrary Monday sit at home in south east or is it only 1 tribe that exist there?

I still don't understand why the Igbos, a people over 50m with presence all over the world, haven't come together to deal with this bastard that explores every opportunity to insult their region and people.
The guy keep roaming about spewing his hates each time unchallenged.
This is unacceptable!
where did he mention Ibos here?

You haven't answered my question, was it the state government that gave the sit at home order?
in Bauchi no life will be lost due to closure because they value life

Did sit at home originated from Anambra state government house?
I wonder the kind of reasoning you guys have? That's why Africa is still lagging behind.
is it not voluntary sit at home again?

Funny enough, it's the Igbos that made Reno popular.

They were practically worshipping him at some point prior to 2019 elections. 😂

This is the then-Governor of Bauchi State, Adamu Muazu, and I on Monday, August 2, 1999. I love Bauchi and have visited it more than ten times. The people of Bauchi have a long history of civilisation and know what they want as a people.

Bauchi state has the right to govern itself in accordance with its culture and tradition. If that involves temporarily shutting down schools in observance of the Ramadan fast, I have no issues with it. I what the people of Bauchi want for themselves.

They elected their Governor and are in favour of what he is doing. We are in a democracy. It is the government of the people by the people for the people. Since Mutanen Bauchi have no problem with it, you should not sit down in Lagos, Anambra, and Port Harcourt and take Panadol on their behalf when they do not even have a headache.

For your information, Bauchi is one of the states that feeds Southern Nigeria. I refer you to the VAT contribution data recently released by the National Bureau of Statistics. Bauchi is not a parasitic state.

My counsel to those of us who are not from Bauchi but have strong opinions on Bauchi shutting schools for Ramadan is this: Until your state can contribute as much or more than Bauchi in of food production and VAT contribution, perhaps it is best to focus on your own Governor and hold him able.

Bauchi only shut down schools for one month. In the states of origin of some of you condemning Bauchi, life is shut down completely every Monday. That is 54 days a year and eight weeks per annum. If you have outrage, utilise your outrage in that direction rather than at Bauchi.

Notice how Peter Obi commented about the fire outbreak at Ladipo and Owode Onirin Markets in Lagos, of which no lives were lost, but had refused to comment on the thirty bodies discovered by the police and believed to be victims of suspected ritual killings at the Imo River in Oriendu community, Abia State, even though that incident was uncovered before the fires in Lagos occurred and involve loss of lives.

It fits Peter Obi's pattern. If it occurs in the North or Southwest, Peter Obi will dance naked in public and cry about injustice, government negligence, and societal decay. But if it happens in Igboland, Bitter Obi, the man in love with black mourning clothes, will suddenly become deaf, blind, and dumb.

Or am I lying?

They are just too mentally lazy to compete with the Igbos .

Operatives of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Anambra State Command, have arrested two suspected of a tricycle-snatching syndicate notorious for dispossessing operators and engers of their belongings.

The state NSCDC commandant, Olatunde Maku, confirmed the arrest at the command’s headquarters in Awka on Wednesday, stating that the suspects were apprehended on Tuesday after allegedly snatching a tricycle at Araba Umuzocha, Awka.

“At about 9 am on Tuesday, acting on a tip-off, operatives of the command intercepted a three-man gang operating along Araba Umuzocha and its environs.

“Nemesis caught up with them after they forcefully snatched a tricycle, popularly known as Keke NAPEP, from a victim near Regina Junction by Zik’s Avenue, Awka. Two of the suspects were arrested while one managed to escape and is currently at large,” Maku said.

The arrested suspects were identified as Obum Charles, 24, of No. 4 Umueze Road, Amudo Village, Awka, and Chukwunonso Ekeh, 27, of No. 36 Onueyiagu Street, Amachala, Awka.

Maku disclosed that the duo is assisting the command with information that could lead to the arrest of their fleeing accomplice, adding that investigations were ongoing and the suspects would be prosecuted upon completion.

“Preliminary findings indicate that the gang specialises in snatching tricycles while robbing riders and engers of their valuables,” he added.

Commending his men for their swift action, Maku reiterated the NSCDC’s commitment to combating crime and ensuring the safety of lives and property across the state.

What most of you don't understand is this

1) once you are unpopular in the North it's impossible to rig... It can't happen ask anyone who have been to the North... Ask OBJ and Jonathan even ask yaradua ... And Tinubu is very very unpopular in the North as we speak

2) middle belt is too close to call so rigging won't really get you much net votes here

3) south east is out of the equation for Tinubu

4 ) in the South West.. Osun and Lagos would net him near zero votes net if not negative

Before now I was of the opinion that Obi contesting would give Tinubu an edge... Don't really see that anymore... Because he would take from Tinubu potential votes in North Central and South South plus reduce impact of Lagos

Like 2019 , 2023 and now 2027 this election is PDP to lose if they play their card right
Peter Obi should just contest

A well informed person will know obidients movement is beyond the youth of south east alone . It consists of the majority of Nigerian youths whose future is being mortgaged by cluelessness of the present politicians except for few who are on thier payroll and they are easy to identify. Apc took them for granted in the last election and apc have to rig thier way back. One would think for Tinubu to say in his inaugural speech “ Nigerian youth I heard you loud and clear “ he has a cutting edge solution but no . They may have to do more than rigging the next election. His clueless leadership style affecting his ers and everyone.
