I just love Shetima's blunt disposition

Best Graduating student of Economics in Prestigious University of Ibadan Citadel of learning......

After 30 years of Graduation

Ended up becoming Deputy Branch Manager at a new generation bank like Polaris bank

30 years after graduation that he should be planing retirement he is a Deputy Manager

His total salary may not be up to 200,000 to 500,000 a month

He made this submission at University of Ibadan to remind student the intricacies of life

PS:
IF you know say e no go better for your papa this morning qoute me to say trash

You idiots stay your lane and don't qoute me if Ogun no go perish your families, keep your useless mob mentality and keyboard war to your unproductive self

.

.

The fact that you lots will come boldly to a public forum and display your crass arrogance without any iota of shame or restraint is just befuddling. The DGM (Deputy general Manager) position in a bank is the penultimate height any professional banker can attain (outside being the MD/CEO) the highest being the position of General Manager. And for context, over 98% of bankers do not attain the DGM position before they retire or get retrenched. Mr. Oladipo is by no means a failure, if anything, he has had a very productive banking career as an economist and should be very proud of his achievements. As for you, I only hope you will get yourself properly exposed and enlightened before you talk yourself into perpetual ignorance induced mediocrity.

The wind speed is automated and this is not the first time it will happen.

In the African Athletics Championships in Mauritius, this year...She beat Gloria Alozie's Games Record of 12.7s set in Dakar in 1998, but the wind was above 2m/s as well, so Alozie keeps her record.

It is not even easy to beat a 12:12s, only an Amusan can do that. The OR was 12:37s, and the woman who did that finished 3rd yesterday with 12:23s. Kendra, my baby, who had the former WR did not even climb the podium. We are ok with 12:12s, we no mind.

Yea....

Johnson was talking in the rubbish because their girl Keni was knocked off on home soil. He is still angry with Nigeria since 2000, but no be we cause am. The US had run a powerful, very powerful race in the relays of which Johnson finished with one of the most scintillating of runs. Nigeria came 3rd in one of the strongest relay showings in the Olympics.

Two years later, one of the Americans (not Johnson) was discovered to have been on drugs, they were stripped off the medals and Nigeria given Silver grin grin grin grin

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Do585LFlfNc
(Johnson ran the last lap for the US in his last Olympics)

Now I see where his grouse is coming from. The guy go dey all right.

I have a very good feeling about Amusan still being the one to break that 12.12 secs record and having it for quite awhile

Yes, they will say this is how Marion Jones started. The annoying thing is the stand-off by some of them.

Michael Johnson, a man I adored on the Sydney2000 even talked down on her time, that the clock perhaps malfunctioned....that is to tell you that if this tournament didn't hold in the US, they might have disputed the records.

I am proud of Tobi and her Jamaican coach. who herself is a former hurdler and Commonwealth Champion.

Can you now see why I used the word shady?
After all, the anemometer is controlled and analyzed by a person. Who's to say they would not have recorded a wild speed of 1.9m/s under a different circumstance.

All the same, we should all be proud of Tobi she's been in fantastic form all year.

She didn't break two world records, Congrats to her.....

World Champion.

Yeah, the time for her final race, 12 06 secs, was eventually adjusted due to wind direction.

Oluwatobiloba Amusan just struck Gold shattering WR twice in same evening ...whatttt a race!Naija TOBI EXPRESS!

Unfortunately, the championship umpires denied her the second world record, citing wind direction. So, the time of 12.12 secs, which she ran in semi final, is still maintained as the recognized world record.

I have a feeling she will still shatter that record later this year or during the next diamond league event. She is in the form of her life.

I just saw that it is no longer the world record...sighting wind direction!!!

It is still a world record. She actually ran a second world record in the final 12.06 but they raised a weird technicality about wind direction to nullify her second world record and maintain the 12.12 secs time.

I guess they didn't want to pay her $100k twice in one night.... grin

I also hope with all my heart she hasn't taken performance enhancing drugs.

But to say she has no prior history of success shows you don't follow athletics. The was the last Diamond League champion in 2021 I think and won a medal at the Tokyo Olympics.

That person obviously has not followed the amazing career trajectory of this incredible athlete.

They just cited some shady technicality about wind reading to rob her of her second world record time.

The verdict us that a record time of 12.12 secs, is maintained for her.

Nigeria's in-form sprinter, Tobi Amusan has completed an incredible double by breaking the world record for the 100m women's hurdle and also winning a gold medal at the ongoing world Athletics Championship, Eugene, Oregon.

The young Nigerian, who had initially broken the world record in the semi final by recording a time of 12.12 seconds, won the final in a time of 12.06 swcobds to crown an amazing evening at the WACH.

She would have recorded two world records in One Night had the original time achieved in for her final race(12.06 secs) not been adjusted for wind direction.

All the same, it was an incredible night for the Nigerian athlete who will take home a prize of $100,000 for breaking the world record in the semi final race.

Congratulations to her. I do hope she wins gold in the final.
If her time of 12.12s is not broken in the final(hopefully not) ,she wins $100k for breaking the record, so fingers crossed...

Her $100k is actually assured whatever happens in the final. She held the record for a time so she gets the prize.
