6.) Block Work In Foundation
7.) Ground Floor Slab
8.) Block Work Above Dpc
9.) Lintel
10.) Roofing
11.) Plastering, wiring, plumbing, ceiling, door and window fixing stages.

Although, there are underlying factors that can also affect the cost of building which includes location as you'll agree with me that someone in Lagos or Abuja will spend more in building a house than someone in Edo or Osun State.

As such, the differences in the cost is often affected by some other factors which include; cost of building materials, quality of building materials, construction method, workmanship charges, etc.

Goodday nairalanders, due to several requests we've had from intending clients to help give a total breakdown of how much they can spend in building a 4bedroom bungalow in Nigeria, we've decided in giving a total break down in stages on how much you can spend in erecting a 4bedroom bungalow from scratch to finish as I'll try as much as possible to demystify the cost of building a house in Nigeria.

However, it’s important you note that I'll be giving you an estimated amount on prices of materials to be used based on what is obtainable in our own area(Edo-State). There might be a slight difference in cost at other locations whether higher or lower to what I'll be giving you here. One thing that is for sure is that we can’t get them all wrong.

For those intending to build, sit back and relax while i totally Unfold the cost of building a four bedroom residential accommodation here in Nigeria.

Yes, but all things being equal, based on where we are, inflation rates etc, business men and people who follow higher pursuits will always have the upper hand, government policies can only do so much, it's all about the individual's ambition and creativity. For instance, some will use 24hrs light to watch Telemundo, instead of running a business, a service with the energy etc. We all must add value to develop Nigeria.

We've taken the construction project to an end. As agreed upon in the contract, the client is to take care of furnishing in the house.

We want to first and foremost, give thanks to God for his enablement and guidance throughout the construction process as no casualty from any workers was recorded from inception stage to finishing stage. Also, we earnestly want to appreciate everyone here who took their time in following our thread and also engaging in it from inception to completion, you all are our greatest motivator and i say God bless you'll richly.

And to our client who is also a nairalander, we also want to deeply thank you for giving us the opportunity to serve you as this is an added feather to our cap....

We enjoyed every bit of our stay in Oron, Akwa ibom as the people are welcoming and peace loving. Oron is one place i found really interesting especially their rich food and different places of interest.

We're all set to journey back to our Edo state.to continue with our usual business as we have pending project(s) to emback on as we've always delivered functional, aesthically pleasing and structurally stable construction projects over time....

Not at all.... They'll access the pop ceiling via ladder's as they don't have any form of with the walls

We're already making preparations to go get the electrical fittings as installation will commence immediately too....

Work progress is still on, and we're moving on to final completion as we're about rounding up with the painting work.. Outlook of the building is amazing as final touches are been made
