Oshiomhole Receives Royal Blessings From The Agbuza Of Ihievbe Clan(Photos)

Adams Aliyu Oshiomhole, the APC senatorial candidate for Edo North, yesterday received royal blessings from Chief Stanley A Musa Evbogbai, the Agbuza of the Ihievbe Clan in Owan East LGA.

As part of his ward-to-ward tour, Oshiomhole made a stop at the palace of the traditional ruler to pay his respects and ask for his royal blessings before the general elections on February 25.

Oshiomhole arrived at the palace with his campaign team, which included his campaign director, Comrade Abdul Lawan, Hon. Gani Audu, Jarret Tenebe, Barr. Okaka, Waziri Oshomah, Seidu Oshiomhole, Ernest Oyaole Aitalegbe, and others.

The former governor of Edo State articulated persuasive justifications for running for a Senate seat in the National Assembly, which boiled down to genuine service to the people and a way to carry on the good deeds from where he left off as the Executive Governor of Edo State.

He regretted his successor's dismal performance and wished he could, in his own small way, compensate for the state's current lack of development, as evidenced by widespread outrage from citizens across the state.

Oshiomhole harped on the importance of ing him for Senate as well as APC presidential candidate Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, emphasising that it was a team effort that would benefit the good people of Ihievbe and Owan East in general.

His host prayed for him and wished him luck in his senatorial campaign; here are some photos from the event.

Yes, but all things being equal, based on where we are, inflation rates etc, business men and people who follow higher pursuits will always have the upper hand, government policies can only do so much, it's all about the individual's ambition and creativity. For instance, some will use 24hrs light to watch Telemundo, instead of running a business, a service with the energy etc. We all must add value to develop Nigeria.
