Which axis of the road is there a crack? I do through the road at least once in a week. It's the road I do through whenever am going to Epe from Lekki, and every part of the road is in a good condition.

This road was split into two after it got flooded last year. I think the made nairaland frontpage. And it was not only the road he inspected, he inspected some other roads under rehabilitation in Delta state.

Late comer. Something i have suggested ling long ago. Treat portion of tough roads like a house and build foundation beneath it.

Since we don't really have railway connected most places and thier alot of pressure on the road due to high volumes of vehicular movement which cause the roads to be spoilt, then the concrete technology is the best option for now. Everything is not suppose to be hatred by this clown.

Jonathan was so foolish not to have completed that east west road in his six years as president. He wasted our glorious chance to bring development to south south. Before the tenure of Tinubu, many south south will not regard Jonathan again. He was a huge mistake as president from our zone.

Do you have any citation to back this your assertion ?

Go to Ebonyi state and see the damage concrete roads do to Tyres, they dont even last that long. Rain water erodes them exposing the rods used in ing them. Never underestimate the power of water. It is abrasive.

The is a reason why asphalt was used in road construction, there is a reason for periodic maintenance. No road is constructed to last forever.

Concrete roads are a no-no, try driving on them . Even Berger cannot give you a 50 year guarantee on roads.

Cracks are not an issue in concrete roads. The advantage of concrete over bitumen is that the road foundation is secured. Those cracks can easily be repaired by applying same concrete and bitumen tar.

The benefits of concrete is that it is cheaper and easier to maintain than bitumen surfaced roads
