Lol. So, in his bid to fight insecurity, his best solution is to go after the major victims?

Ohhhh my Lord.

So, going after the helpless ladies will solve the security issues?

I'm genuinely trying to understand

Before commenting, read properly. If you took your time to read my initial comment, you’d have noticed that I talked about the security law and what it contains. In that law, no mention was made about women, what they wear and innocent citizens of the state. The law is about wiping out all forms of crime and making security and safety of prime importance to all.

Reading with clear understanding is very necessary on public forums like this to avoid embarrassments.

Why have you changed the topic? Were my questions too direct, simple and hard for you?
Is the topic nudity?

Is failing to wear underwear the same as going nude?

what is the topic and how has it been changed?

DeepSightZ:
It's an entirely personal thing my friend. It's just as bad as the government worrying about if I wear socks or not.

If a person is nude, is that not a personal thing or is it a public thing?
lexy2014: 8:19am On Feb 17
DeepSightZ:

How is not wearing underwear indecent exposure?

It's called underwear for heavens sake. That means it's worn UNDER normal clothes!

Secondly why is this applied only to women. Why does the government not also concern itself with men not wearing boxers and singlets?

I dont know why the government does not also concern itself with men not wearing boxers and singlets. but can men's clothing perform the function of this UNDERWEAR?

if it is called underwear and it is worn UNDER normal clothes, why is it worn?

what are these "normal clothes"?

do men's clothing fall under this "normal clothes"?

if a woman does not wear UNDERWEAR under these "normal clothes", what do we call it?

Let them stay indoor if they don’t have money to buy pant

Never realised I was chatting with a genius. Such a simple, straightforward solution.
But what if they like going outside... just saying..

I love the move..... restore decency back to our sane society sir. I wonder why some of you are saying its a misplaced priority, would you like if all women wonder around without clothes? Its like u enjoy calling us olosho aka borehole according to someone here.

If you believe this them you are more stup!d then a retard, Soludo have started hunting those native Dr's and Ezennwayi's that prepare charms for kidnappers, armrobbers and also encourage ritual killings for yahoo and those who wants to prospers with no handwork, if you see the rate of criminality in Anambra you will be overwhelmed and it is this useless native Dr's and majority of anambra love this things now that he is catching them they want to demoralise him.

You have your head screwed on sideways. Nobody is happy with insecurity or crime, but this is not peculiar to Anambra or the South east. In fact, the South East was reported as the safest place in Nigeria last year. Nobody is saying that Soludo should not fight crime and insecurity, he is the Governor. What people like me are saying is that he should fight crime according to the law.

There are native Doctors all over Nigeria, there are people who still practice the old ways of their fore-fathers, going to shrines and native Doctors, asking for prosperity, heath and long life, same way a Christian will go to his Pastor to ask for the same.

We already have enough laws that ban killing or harming people, and everyone knows it is not allowed. In doing Okeite, if anyone harms, injures or kills anyone, they should face the music. If any native Doctor or Ezenwanyi is working with criminals, they should face the law

But what we see is that native Doctors are being arrested, locked up, not charged with any offence even though the constitution says you must charge a person to court within three days, or hold them further with a court order

I watched the video where Awka Okuko was brought before the Deputy Governor of Anambra and was being asked if he does Okeite. What is that? You arrest a person because you have evidence they commited a crime, not arrest them to find out if they commited a crime. The constitution of Nigeria does not know what is Okeite. A Deputy Governor has no business questioning anyone about Okeite, if you have any evidence that anyone broke the law, charge to court.

What they are doing in Anambra is a joke, and Soludo, as learned as he is, proved he has no wisdom

Oga you are the one making baseless remarks and thinking like a native doctor. That your own head must be screwed backwards!

If you are checking events properly, you should ask yourself if Akwa Okuko, Ekene Igboekweze, popularly known as Eke Hit and Onyeze Jesus are the only native doctors and Prophets in the whole of Anambra state. In your community alone, can you count how many native doctors and Prophets who practice there? That is if you are truly from Anambra state or the SE as a whole. Why were they not arrested? How many have run away? Why would they leave their homes to relocate, if their hands and businesses are clean? Are the the only ones in the entire Anambra north, south and central? By the way, how many native doctors have you heard of their arrests?

The question remains why mischievous native doctors and prophets would introduce such wickedness as human sacrifices for wealth. Is the Anambra person known for quick money, or trading, hardwork and honesty? Anambra people are known to climb the ladder of wealth slowly and meticulously and even the Boy system is now a known model all over the world.

When the law was made, was it restricted to native doctors and eze nwayis only? Did you not read that even the so called miracle working Prophets who would not be able to prove their claims would be arrested and jailed?

I gave you an excerpt from the law and you took out the portion that you felt was personally troubling your own activities, as a member of native doctors association. Government simply says get yourself ed and forward your bio data.

If the constitution of Nigeria does not recognize your famed okeite, does the same constitution not recognize the crime of murder, when humans are used as sacrifices? Or you have not heard the words “illegitimate wealth” before? You do not know that it contravenes the law?

Who told you that the SE was the safest place last year by the way? Truly you this bros, are you sure that you are not writing from Sambisa or Sokoto? When was the last time that you got as far as the Asaba end of the headbridge, not to talk of the Onitsha end? Or you do not hear the daily news from Imo, Ebonyi and Abia states? If not for the action of Soludo in introducing SASA (aka odo), touts and agberos would still remain at the headbridge doing their evil practices. Only around last December did we begin to feel the impact and move about freely at the headbridge.

With operation Udo ga chi, Agunechemba and aka odo, we are beginning to experience some form of sanity. Mondays started to return gradually at the end of last year.

This happens in a society where the govt has been able to secure people's social and economic welfare. Hence, tends towards security of lives and morals.

Insanity...

SmartPolician:

No, it's not government's responsibility. It's the responsibility of other agents of socialization - family, church, mosque, schools, culture, etc. Since those have failed to do the needful, government has stepped in.

If you go to the Arab world, people dress decently because they still have an effective culture that keeps people decent. Unfortunately, our people think they have grown bigger than decency. That's why government has stepped in to right that abnormality.

Like I mentioned in the comment you quoted, governance isn't just about fixing infrastructure. Governance embraces everything, including ensuring there's sanity and decency in society. Where those fail, they become a burden to the people and government. Government has the capacity to achieve everything at once - that's why there are MDAs.

Smart by half once again; I can't Nigeria being an Arab nation.

You can't be comparing authoritarian societies with a democracy.

Compare it with a democracy that isn't an Arab nation.

Now, that being said... a government that is probably owing salaries, has terrible infrastructure, poor state of schools and welfare of public servants in jeopardy and still has time to go after bra and panties(literally) is a government run by clueless animals.

Bro, you don't go chasing rats when your house is on fire; Anambra is on fire and Soludo is chasing rats; in this instance, bra and pants
