In fact, Chukwu was a god of Ibibio people formerly known as Ibini ukpabi. Igbos had gods for every situation or things. In Nnewi, we used to believe in Ana as a creator of land, not chukwu. The god Chukwu was only used for divination as such Chukwu Abiama is it's full name meaning Big god of divination. It was not a supreme god. Igbo never had supreme god until christianity came.
