Comprehension! Comprehension ! Comprehension! It's sad that most folks here if not all, have failed to comprehend this simple sentence. Nigeria too big to fail does not mean it cannot fail. It means it cannot afford to fail. It means everything must be done to make sure it does not fail. Now go back and read again. Comprehension! 1 Like |

Nigeria is too big to fail is very discouraging from the minister for finance... she is simply trying to tell you that in the worst case scenario she will try her best not to make Nigeria fail instead she should have said "Nigeria is very Big, therefore we must succeed".. This government do not have what it takes to take this nation to its promise land, instead they will only take it out of the recession that they themselves create. |

It is not the size of a head that matters, but what is in it. The way Nigeria is presently structured will definitely lead to it's failure eventually. Nigeria must be restructured politically and economically for it to witness any meaningful development. The cost of running the ineffective unitary systement of government disguised as federalism is quite high. We don't need two legislative houses; it is a waste of resources that should be used for developmental purposes. True federalism whereby each region develops at its own pace is the panacea for the real development we crave for. Nigeria will eventually fail as long as the North continues to oppose restructuring. All the signs are there already. While the South is ready to fly,the North is still learning how to crawl! This is our major challeng |
