DSS exams in 2018 did not have uniform questions across the nation. Each state had thier own questions. In a particular state, they were only asked two silly questions (a few friends told me this). Some states had 2 sections. (a) which was mostly objectives and fill in the gaps and (b) which was essay. Some other states had strictly objective questions (about 50). So what he did in his state might be different from yours.

my pipo, with all d raking of dat pompous officer, we assumed dat d exam would be more dan waec. na so we dey read so tey fuse begin blow inside some niggis head. i might have blown one or two also. anyways, na so exam start. those wey dey pray dey pray, those wey dey form hard man dey do dia own. then dey shared exam booklets, with instructions not to look at d questions until dey command it. finally d command came, and my hands flew to the sheets, the way some of una hand dey fly towards bobby. with eager eyes I began to scan d questions and d more I did the more I began to feel something was not right. I began smelling a serious rat.
my people, could u believe dat all d 50 questions were just flimsy english language assessment questions? I mean for real? synonyms and antonyms? complete d sentence bullsh*t? from question alpha to omega? to say I was dissapointed would be mincing words. I was irked. even d police exam conducted by psc which I had written two yrs earlier had more class and style. the police exam was really challenging and here I was answering A is for apple. dss too much! while writing i deduced dat d process had already been rigged hence d joke dey had set for us as exams. in time my suspicions were validated. towards the end of the charade, an officer came towards d window n signalled d invigilators to take special note of certain peoples scripts, to make sure their's was handled specially. He even greeted d special applicants. that was when I realized it was finished. but d import didn't sink in until three days later. for an exam written by nearly 4000 eager souls, it was nothing short of a miracle that invites for interview was sent d next day. i laugh no b small.
that was wen I realized I must change strategy in d next recruitment. my state is highly competitive so if I don't change tactics, we might be asked to dance shoki remix as exams, while d sharp guys will get d invites... if u know, u know.

With the upgrade of the Dss Training School to National Institute for Security Studies, cadets training may not take place in Lagos. That school is now very very busy with Intellignece Training for various security personal in all security formations in Nigeria.

Nothing has been compromised, training will surely take place in lagos. The NISS that the are using is de one in Abuja, not lagos

Guards are presently on training
at kaduna but are not much. Also promotion offrs are still in camp. Lagos and Bauchi respectively.
Also the issue of cadet. Hopefully Oct 2nd week. But compare to the amount they want to take before, it will be reduce cuz u guys will be mixed with upgrading offrs .
Also camp will be @Bauchi hopefully .The silence is cuz all the camp are occupied and DSS is not one to give u long notice.. If u notice, they only give 2-3days notice to report to camp. Nobody knows the date for now.. But I will advice everyone to follow the progress of those in camp. Maybe with that, u can get a better understanding on when cadet will go for camp.. But sure cadet are next in line.

What makes u so sure?
It has been confirmed already, guards have not yet report to camp, and presently yes directors are in camp undergoing promotional course.

Oga no vex, pls I have a question, I applied for this job and got interviewed at the age of 28, but with the delay the age has now increased... The question is if the delay continues and ones crosses 30yrs will it or will it not affect one's chances? Does one need to worry about that pls?

The long Delay is from the leadership, everything is in progress or d process has been completed, at documentation level its gone to far alredy,according to the info I received today this recruitment dey say will be completed, even if theres gona be a new recruitment dey,ll add to the alredy awaiting list.. And move together *IF*. But dey,ll still be movement for cadets atleast up till today dats what I can confirm.. As to when its up to DG to give signal duno what he is waiting for . My stew sauce suggested dey delay might also be related to the impending loads of retirements next year so the shifting the time table to accommodate the movement one set moves out to retire new set moves in at the exact time and take up officer ranking positions.. More stories right all we wanna hear is camp date but hey ders no harm in sharing wateva rubbish or truth we hear.. Stay woke basic course 30 must be finished insha Allah.

the last stage before camp!! Theres a federal govt of nigeria blah blah booklet where u fill ur details,family,/and s things of that's sort,general.information about you and ur back ground thats how they track u and do background search on you. And also vett you as certified for movement.

A senior officer whose frd is one of the trainers told me that" promotion courses are still on going in Bauchi, Lagos and Kaduna training schools and it will span till mid October, 2019"

I pray we are called after the promotion courses has been concluded, I really wanted to give up but my mind keep telling me that camp good news will come like thief at night & bring smile to our faces. You are free to call ur source to confirm about d courses ongoing at the three training schools


Training school is not too far from my house, I will visit there soon if possible.Their men are always positioned round the place at strategic area. I wish everyone of us good success. NDLEA reg closed, Civil defence & Army still on..Endeavor to
