Handwritten application with photocopies of your credentials and submit to your state command. DEGREE holders apply for CADRE while SSCE holders apply for DETECTIVE. Though more information is required before submitting application, stay alert as it unfold.

All you need to is go with your application letter written eit your hand, certificates most especially FSLC and others, certificate of origin form your local govt. That's all. Degrees should not be more 30yrs... that was what they told me when I submitted my at Oke mosan abk

Bros u have to apply thru the command of your state of origin not command office closer to you. So if you are not an indigent of Lagos State then go to your state of origin and submit.

OK I am from IMO State. how can I apply whilst I am in Ogun State?

Hello Nairalanders an unconfirmed news reaching me that The Department of State Services(DSS) or (SSS) is recruiting and therefore welcome applications from both DEGREE and SSCE holders. Signal was sent from Abuja to the 36 States today 22-01-2016.
NOTE:this was communicated to me via a close friend working there.
