I am currently in a dilemma now. I want to build my personal residence (A 5-Bedroom duplex) but i am a bit confused right now and the reason is this: I am someone who loves privacy and compound space. I usually cringe when i see beautiful houses but with no adequate surrounding space. I detest seeing cars and other facilities cramped in a tight space. Now i want to build mine and here's the options that's getting me confused.

Option A-: Buy a plot of land in a highbrow area at an assumed price of maybe N50M
Option B-: Buy an acre of land (6 plots) or more in a middle-class area at the same assumed price of N50M

If you were in my shoes, which would you choose?? I am still a young man and still not married but i intend to settle down soon. Please people, i need your input.

Determining whether mathematics is important in life depends on your career choice. However, the fundamentals of mathematics which is addition, subtraction, multiplication and division is relevant in all walks of life. For instance, i don't do too much mathematics in business; i allow my ant to handle complicated transactions or financial statements. But when it comes to investing, having a grasp of mathematics is very important because you need to deal with things such as compound interest, ratios, etc on almost a daily basis. Now for those who hate mathematics or can't seem to understand it, your solution is simple.......Get a financial adviser, personal bookkeeper or ant and your problem is half solved. But it pays to know the basics of mathematics. Just my 2cent

But until I become good at it, I will not buy any shares. I think not participating is much better than losing the game.

Secondly, judging by the type of advice you gave, I am really contemplating between you and I who is really an investor.
