Good day gurus in the house... I am a Nigerian presently living in Istanbul turkey. Is it advisable to apply for F1 visa here without going back to Nigeria? I have a valid temporary resident permit here in turkey and I am thinking of Applying for a graduate program in USA. Your contributions are highly needed. Thanks

Bro, i applied for Uskuder uni too and i did the interview on Aug 3rd 2020, i deceived an email to come for port pick up on the 6th of August but i went there on the 18th of August to collect that pink slip and my port but i haven't gotten any email from the embassy since then and it's a month already. Any idea what could be responsible for the delay? Hw long did yours take to get a mail for visa approval from the date of your interview

yes I got ission in uskudar for graduate programme and I have done my interview nd as well collected my port on 19th August with a white paper saying that my application has been forwarded to the authority for examination.
today is the 2weeks nd 4days am yet to hear from them

Very difficult at the moment, the only good job available is teaching and many schools are not recruiting at the moment as primary and secondary schools are still online. Only kindergarten students are allowed to receive face to face teaching at the moment . Even then , many parents have refused to send their children to school . You have to make very good plans because this year is going to be tough.

Try turkey... application and visa processing is very flexible when you have the requested documents. Just got my student visa couple of weeks ago
