The Blacklist cheesy wink

Ha ha ha
Yesterday's episode of black list was epic. My favourite qoute is from Raymond Reddington

"I have always believed LUCK to be a function of Intent " - RayMond Reddington.

Honestly, I was blown away by this episode. It's one of my favorite, and probably best episodes. I would argue anyday that the more Reddington, the better the episode. Though the rest of the cast is great, Raymons Reddington occasionally carries the show on his back.

However, this episode had minimal Spader, and was still one of the best episodes they’ve done. The ensemble of the show stepped it up in this episode, and it really paid off.

This week’s unusual character grouping of Ressler, Tom, Harold Cooper and Karakurt, is one i will term a Talk about a band of misfits.

It was really incredible to watch as each of those men put aside their differences to help Elizabeth. I really love standoff scenes.

Who cared about anyone besides Reddington, Elizabeth and Tom before this season?
Now each character has substance and a real role in the show.

Yesterday's episode was a pulse-pounding one that kept me engaged and made me desperate to watch the next episode.

I can't just noooo fit wait for episode 10. Chai!!!!! This series dei do my body like King-Kong..

Every episode in this season, is a Hit, from back to Back. From episode 1 - 9.

Iyalaya Awon Scandals freak. grin

I so love Agent Navabi!!!!!! Soooo much.

I agree with you on everything except for that local content thing

Enough of spoon feeding these people please!
That's why they keep feeding us crap in the name of local content.

I just watched "Beasts of no nation" book written by a Nigerian funny enough distributed on Netflix besides Idris Elba every single person on the cast were never heard of and you should see the movie. Even half of a yellow Sun with its all star cast no near this movie I swear!

Was it not humans like them that produced it?
Even ended up getting the kid Abraham Attah an award in Venice.

Why must we be using our own hands to put a glass ceiling over our heads?

Entertainment is art & art is universal, let the local guys understand the dynamics & stop being pu55ies abeg!

Do you know how old "007 Goldfinger" is? Even till now no hope of nearing it cos of local content.

Na so America too dey do local content?

The quality of your work will determine if I should watch it lets not forget I'm paying for this sh!t.

Half of a yellow sun is just overhyped.

Beast of No nation is too good. And movie with direction.

I love the small boy called Agwu. His acting is just classic

You are wrong my friend, just like i saw this topic was coming up
Lets do the math:
I pay 1600 for Netflix + 12000 for 1 month Unlimited Internet (Coz Internet) = 13600

If you have an Android Box like Ancloud P5 with channels, that takes care of all your soccer need.

Let say according to my research you pay 7000 "yearly" for bouquet on Ancloud P5, that takes the money to 20,600.

But NOTE: Your 12000 internet is for 1 month, so instead of watching only TV with 16000 (DSTHIEVES) for a MONTH, you pay a total of:
12,000 Internet
+
1600 Netflix
+
600 sport ( ancloud p5 subscription per month)
= 14200
not only for tv but for INTERNET CONNECTIVITY for a whole month!!!!!!

How is that my friend?

Brilliant!!!!

However there is no unlimited data streaming in Nigeria for 12,000

Nigeria should start blocking some foreign Media houses like China does.
That way, the indigenous ones can grow and employ its people.

No Nation succeeds by hanging on almost 100% to the ideas of other nations.

But Lai Muhammend and his band of propaganda rogues wont see this.
They rather focus on crushing the opposition with lies and more lies.

I agree with you wholeheartedly. As it stands Netflix dream of breaking into the china market is just a wish.

Netflix will never be allowed in China. It's just a day dream for CEO. We need to start generating revenue and not giving money to some foreign Johny just enter Nigeria foreign firms

Nice news to see such services available worldwide. However this is not only about services available worldwide, it's about local authorities allowing them to do their business freely.

I'm sure in a matter of days, Netflix will be blocked in the UAE because it's going to hurt the local communication companies which monopolize the market. Plus, I believe there's adult content on Netflix which can't be allowed in UAE.

Also in China, if there is anything to praise the Chinese Government for, its the fact that they don't just allow foreign competition that can kill of their local companies.

Take a look at several bug companies till date, Chinese government even while trying to control information try as much as possible to ensure that their own country have a local version of what is seen internationally.

Do you talk of

** Twitter? China has Weibo
** WhatsApp? China has wechat / Qq / recent
** Google? China has Baidu
** Amazon? We have Aliexpress , Taobao etc.

My point is, the CEO of Netflix should stop day dreaming about breaking into the Chinese market. It is never possible. Even Facebook till date is no where in China, not even twitter. Even Google has no presence.

********

Another problem is that Nigeria does not have cable operators or Good internet service like Comcast, that can allow good streaming of such videos on our home TV without Buffering.

However looking at the Good sight of this deal, it will be advantageous,

*Combining $8 ( 1600 naira ) + Internet subscription fee = Final subscription will be cheaper than DstV subscription.
* Aside the fact that the movies on Netflix can be Movie on Demand
* I can finally get to watch season movies as fast as possible without ing

The new countries include South Korea, India, Nigeria, Poland, Russia, Saudi Arabia and Singapore. Hastings said Netflix hopes to reach China in the future, as well, but offered no specific time frame.

Bitcoin:
Every corner corner way doesn't last and the end doesn't always justify the means. This isn't to say you are doing anything illegal per se and if you are, you have a better chance of getting away with it in Nigeria but your s in the U.S are definitely taking chances with the law here.
They are indirectly running their own remittance business without the legal licenses from FinCEN, SEC, IRS and co all in the name of making $15 per $1000. I'm not sure about the tax laws in China but the tax laws in the U.S are very strict and it's not something to joke with. If the tax laws in China are any good, that your Alieexpress Chinese seller will be forced to pay sales tax on all transactions every 4 months. So in essence, all that money you were sending him via fake alieexpress purchases will be reviewed as total sales and he will pay a hefty tax on it, so what sense does it make? If the scale of these transactions were really astronomical, it will result in a higher tax bracket which will be a huge loss for him.

There are reasons why financial institutions have licenses and employ that Know-Your-Customer rule whereby every customer must present with state issued government ID'S and other proofs of identity upon opening an . These rules are placed to prevent money laundering which can result in the sponsorship of terrorism and other illegal activities. I'm particularly worried about those your American s because I can bet you the government are watching them from the shadows... they will think they are evading tax or money laundering (boko haram, hello).

I commend your entrepreneurial spirit, however I will advise you never to bend your morals for profit (like you did with your customization business). Like you, I like to try new things; I bought bitcoins in 2009 for less than $1 each then sold them in 2013 for $1085 each, this was pure luck and nothing else cos I actually bought and forgot about them. I'm now in the process of starting a Bitcoin Remittance Business which will allow people to send any amount of money anywhere in the world for pennies. You can view my only topic on Nairaland about this venture and i'm obtaining the required licences both in Nigeria and the U.S where I will have my company. It's been over a year now and by March of this year, if everything goes smoothly, we will be live and ready. Nothing stops me from running this company without the high legal fees and time required but I like to sleep in my bed with peace of mind, not worrying about the FBI knocking on my door.

Sometimes, making money in unconventional ways may cost you your freedom and 10X the money you made. Be wise.

1. Aliexpress owned by AliGroup charges 5% of every transaction on its website. A break down if the 5% shows that 1.2% Goes as tax to Chinese Government and 1.5% goes to Hong Kong Government and the left over to their purse as source of revenue.

So that burden is placed on any buyer. However with new Hongkong laws the tax will be slashed this year, if the company adjust its 5% that is left for the company to decide.

2. The American Case: A simplified version of how it works. Americans want to send money to Nigeria, if they do, the Nigerian recipient gets 196/$1. But we cash in on the opportunity and say, don't send to Nigeria. Send the money to china. And we will pay your Nigerian clients.

I.e

America ( company ) send to China.
Nigeria pays The intended recipient.

So all transactions between the law.

Another way, we buy a well known oil coy. And they send over there. This some Nigerians do.

Thanks bye
