Those against Muslim/Muslim or Christian/Christian ticket are dump and brainless set of people List of the last 6 CAN Presidents and their states: 1- Anthony Cardinal Okogie- Lagos 2- His Eminence Dr. Sunday C. Mbang- Akwa-Ibom 3- Most Revd. Peter Akinola- Ogun 4- Archbishop John Onaiyekan- Kogi (Yoruba) 5- Ayo Oritsejafor- Delta 6- Dr. Supo Ayokunle - Oyo If you look at the list all of them except Onaiyekan is from the North and he is Yoruba. So the question is, how fair is CAN to the Northern Christians? Or the Northern Pastors are not good enough to be CAN Presidents? Also, since PFN was formed, not a single Pastor from Northern Nigeria has been made their President. James Badejo, E.A Adeboye, Benson Idahosa, Mike Okonkwo, and Ayo Oritsejafor were all past Presidents of PFN, what happened to those from Southern Kaduna, Plateau, Benue, Borno Adamawa, Taraba and so on? I honestly believe in equity, but the saying that "those that come for equity, most come with clean hands." CAN cannot tell Nigerians to practice what we say, but not what we do. I would have ed CAN and PFN % if they have practiced what they're preaching about even within the Church. 2 Likes |

hepzhibaa: Nigerians will never be satisfied with any decisions made by Government being it positive or negative....they will still complain. Imagine, when fed govt initially refused to extradite Kyari, there was so much noise against govt decision....now, they decided to extradite him, based on the fact available to them, people are criticizing the president of romancing America.... |

Adoption is as old as Man....even the bible recognizes adoption....Moses was adopted and raised by Pharaoh even when he knew he was a Jew. He gave and bestowed upon him all the rights and privileges' repose on legitimate child. If that could happen then, why not now where civilization is order of the day. Exodus 2: 1-10 explains more........ ''Now a man from the house of Levi went and took as his wife a Levite woman. 2 The woman conceived and bore a son, and when she saw that he was a fine child, she hid him three months. 3 When she could hide him no longer, she took for him a basket made of bulrushes and daubed it with bitumen and pitch. She put the child in it and placed it among the reeds by the river bank. 4 And his sister stood at a distance to know what would be done to him. 5 Now the daughter of Pharaoh came down to bathe at the river, while her young women walked beside the river. She saw the basket among the reeds and sent her servant woman, and she took it. 6 When she opened it, she saw the child, and behold, the baby was crying. She took pity on him and said, “This is one of the Hebrews’ children.” 7 Then his sister said to Pharaoh’s daughter, “Shall I go and call you a nurse from the Hebrew women to nurse the child for you?” 8 And Pharaoh’s daughter said to her, “Go.” So the girl went and called the child’s mother. 9 And Pharaoh’s daughter said to her, “Take this child away and nurse him for me, and I will give you your wages.” So the woman took the child and nursed him. 10 When the child grew older, she brought him to Pharaoh’s daughter, and he became her son. She named him Moses, “Because,” she said, “I drew him out of the water.” Exodus 2:1-10 |

mikezuruki: The Lagos Rail system is an infrastructure project enshrined in the Lagos State Development Plan (LSDP) which is being managed by the Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority (LAMATA). The railway equipment including electric power, signalling, rolling stock, and fare collection equipment will be provided by the private sector under a Concession Contract. LAMATA is responsible for policy direction, regulation, and infrastructure for the network. The section of the network, Phase of the project are both Red and Blue Line which is currently attained almost 100% completion while Phase I (the Blue Line to run from Marina to Mile 2) was initially planned to open in 2021. However, the State Government recently announces that the Blue and Red Lines will open in December 2022. Contrary to insinuation that Lagos Rail project will run on Federal government rail track is not correct. New rail platform is nearly completed for the take off of the lagos Rail project. 1 Like |

Penguin2: What is wrong in proposing, initiating or sponsor a bill in the house?....This bill in question would be thoroughly debated and treated on case by case basis.... For me, there is no justification to include States that have oil but were yet to be explored thereby contributing nothing to the cofers of Nigeria commonwealth. In addition, if perhaps, some new oil producing states emerges from other region different from Niger Delta States, there should be another commission other than NDDC to take care of them. NDDC as the name implies should be strictly for States that falls under Niger Delta. |

adamsmith914: It means that Southern Governors forum resolution to produce a Southern President is a scam. This singular act shows that PDP should not be trusted by Nigerians if they go ahead to field a Northerner as President. Great crisis looms in PDP if Atiku, Saraki & other founding fathers in the party loose their grips in the party structure ahead of 2023 general election. It also suffix that SE and SS Political leaders in PDP are Mumu Slaves to their counterparts in the North. The Power of Unity of purpose and strong resilience by SW Political Leaders in APC prompted the North cabals to jettison the ambition of fielding a Northerner as President come 2023. Lets keep our fingers cross.....Whatever the outcome of the Southerner presented for President in 2023 by 2023.....SWAGA must surely prevail.. ![]() ![]() 1 Like 1 Share |
