Good day everyone, I’m trying to fill the imm5257 form for pgwp and under the education section, one is asked to give details of the highest level of education. My question is, if I have a masters from Nigeria and did a certificate course here in Canada, which of it should I fill? Thanks.

The correct form is IMM5710. In the form, select ‘Co-op work permit under ‘What type of permit are you applying for?’
The processing time is 5 months. Alternatively, you can get it the same day if you go to the border with the following: Letter of Acceptance, Coop Letter, tuition fee receipt.

Update/Testimony: Praise God my NL Family! My friend still sent her port for stamping even though she saw her port Request 90 days after it was sent. Usually, IRCC would write on that PP Request Letter that if they don't receive your port within 30 days, your visa approval could be cancelled(Paraphrased). After her port got to IRCC Abuja, it was held for some time which was unusual, so she sent email and raised a web form, they stamped her visa after about 2 weeks. Thank you Lord for doing it for us again.

Is your visa still showing valid on the tracker? You can wait till Friday, but to play safe you could redo the medicals even though IRCC will tell you to redo your medicals it expires

Please what tracker are you talking about? The counterfoil on my port has till November next year before it expires

into your profile you should see the status of your visa (Expiry Date) this mostly likely means that IRCC has stamped your port.

Good Morning guys, I submitted my port to VFS on the 18th of July (3 weeks) but I am still yet to get any reasonable email from them regarding the status of my port. The last Message I go was that my port is still under process at the IRCC office and I received this mail on the 31st of July. My counterfoil status about the expiry of my Visa came was update on my IRCC Portal on the 4th of August which most likely means that my Visa has been stamped. I have reached out to VFS through the web chat, however, the customer representative that responded to me keeps giving me the same generic response i got for my last email. The question now is should i send more mails to VFS or go and visit them (Considering that i paid for my port to be delivered) ?

P.S: I initially booked my flight for tomorrow but had to reschulde it to next week wednesday because of this issue.

I will appreciate your help guys.

Please what does counterfoil status means cos I also just submitted my port for stamping on 17th July and I got a mail yesterday that its ready for collection in Abuja and my eligibility also got reviewed on my portal and that was all.

Hi guys, please i want to ask a question for a friend. He applied with the new portal twice and has been rejected twice. Should he still reapply with the new portal while addressing the issues for which he was rejected or can he apply with the old portal.
If he ends up applying with the old portal, will he have to sign up and start all over?

But they gave me a deadline to submit by 30th of this month and i heard it takes 10days after submitting through ups for them to acknowledge that they have received my port
My fear is by the time the port is out the time of submitting and their acknowledgement will be too short.
That's my fear
That's why i need to find a way to have them extend my submission deadline if it's possible.

Well mine didn't take 10 days, I submitted on Monday 17th July and got a mail yesterday 20th July.

I have a deadline to submit my port for the visa by 30th of july but it's not ready since it's being renewed at the immigration office and it would be out by Wednesday next week

I also checked vfs website to book an appointment down for submission but all dates in july is closed till august so july is completely out of it even though they gave me 30th of july as the deadline so even if my port comes out i still can't drop it off in july i have to wait till august

I need to write to someone requesting for an extended time with my current situation

You can use the ups office close to vfs at Lekki

If I changed my program after I already submitted my study permit application and my application has been approved, my new program has coop but my previous program does not, how do I go about requesting for coop work permit?
