"When I was a minister in the 70s, I built Warri and Kaduna refineries together with 20 depots and several kilometres of pipelines. . . Aliko Dangote is building a refinery capable of refining 650,000 barrel a day, we are also going to repair the four refineries. All these will be completed within two years. All the channels of oil theft will then be blocked and those who happen to be alive will witness a rich and better Nigeria. After all that, If Nigerians choose to elect thieves as their leaders again, it is left to them"

When you hear marketers ing the #145 then you should know it favour them. Ask the dimwit if crude oil price rise to $100 per barrel next month will the price still be #145 or increase or reduce as he said?
2) if the pressure on USD forces it to get to #400 won't they increase price of PMS since they are getting USD from black market?
Don't mind them
Let people keep ing d 145 now as per deregulation
Crude oil price is projected to get to 70 dollars a barrel soon n price of fuel will definitely be on d increase.

NLC should return to d negotiation table, allow subsidy removal which will keep fuel price at N100/litre or thereabout. I'm glad this government NOW sees that they CAN't fight corruption in subsidy regime; d best is to scrap it.
If fuel goes for a maximum of N110 naira a litre and minimum wage is increased, no problem.
The government can now call all warring factions in ND to d table and RETURN d pipeline protection contracts to those that did it well during d Yaradua and GEJ era, what's d sense in loosing 1 billion dollars a month (600,000barrels of crude ) to vandals BC u don't want to pay less than a million dollars to people to protect it!

The economy was already collapsing at the tail of Gej istration...Even if he was re elected, things would have stood the same...so don't teach me nonsense

The economy was not collapsing dollar was about 220 in black market against 198 official rate.
If GEJ was reelected, he had a very good economic team, DEFinitely d naira would have been depreciated some months ago, subsidy would still have gone but his economic team would v managed it better than this buhari's, its not about d president per say, its about getting d best hands to do d job.Things would definitely not be as bad as this. But I'm glad he didn't win so Nigeria will redefine itself. Buhari should get off his high horse and get better hands to manage our economy Nigeria is already in recession in his 1st year in office.

Not a single acknowledgement of the influence of the oil prices?

Nigeria's economy has always been tied to oil prices, that's what happens when an economy is dependent on a single product. Whenever oil prices rise, Nigeria's gdp and economy booms, whenever oil prices drops, our economy drops.

GEJ even with the best economic team ever, could not save the Naira from crashing from N160 to N220 to a dollar within 6 months when the oil prices started dropping. As at the time the naira dropped to N220-N230, oil prices were still about $60-$65 and the currency was on a steady decline, so also was Nigeria's gdp growth which had crashed to about 2.3%, and all these happened under GEJ despite his 'world class' economic team. I do not need to remind you that the oil prices had eventually dropped further to even below $30 since GEJ left power, hence the continued slide of Nigeria into further recession. It is quite myopic to just the crowd to think this obvious glaring trend has anything to do with 'world class' economic team.
He spent too much money to ensure there was no fuel scarcity in d country in his era, he increased minimum wage, increased d work force immensely; this cost lots of money.
In 2010 when he came in, average crude oil price was 77dollars- check d data.n higher crude prices meant higher subsidy paid, in 2011 it was 107 dollars, 2012 it was 109 dollars, use average crude prices BC it drops n rises n he subsidized fuel to everyone when fuel was expensive throughput those periods

My friend what are you saying? Foreign reserve that was already depleted under his watch? How much did Obj leave for him? I don't know why you call a spade another thing...At over a 100 dollars / per barrel of crude your 'hero' had every oppiyrtunity to save but simply didn't.
Obj left about 43billion dollars in d foreign reserve for the Yaradua/GEJ ERS
When there was world economic meltdown around 2008,2009 , Nigeria was one of d countries that didn't feel it and didn't go for internaional financial assistance; that's what our foreign reserve did for us our reserve had to be used to save d naira.
By d time GEJ took over and throughout his stay, his Government subsidized fuel for Nigerians such that we didn't have scarcity, that was at a cost of a lot of money, businesses boomed, the agricultural sector boomed ,Industries did well, lots of money was pumped in to d economy that's y Nigerians fared well generally through his era and he left a BOOMING economy, 30 BILLION dollars foreign reserve among other things.
Under buhari's watch, lots of civil servants have lost their jobs, industries have folded up, prices of things v soared; that's d effect of a government withholding money from d economy.
Truth b told, Nigeria has NEVER had it this bad and hey, this is not d first time price of oil has dropped in Nigeria.

How expensive is fuel in Nigeria, compared to other countries? At ₦145/Litre, is fuel too expensive in Nigeria?

As surprising as it may seem, Nigeria is ranked 12th as per cheapest price of petrol in 173 countries even with the new ₦145 per litre price according to Globalpetrolprices.com

In Nigeria, fuel now costs ₦145/L and with the current exchange rate that is fluctuating between ₦320-₦360 to a dollar, it means we are paying about $0.44/L

1. In United States, fuel is sold at the pump price of $0.65/L ( ₦214/L).

2. South Africa - $0.84/L (₦277),

3. Russia $0.55/L (₦181/L),

4. Canada - $0.91/L (₦300/L)

5. Ghana - $0.92 (₦303/L)

6. China - $0.93 (₦306/L)

Some will argue that the countries above are not petroleum exporting countries (OPEC) like Nigeria, but what about OPEC member countries like:

7. Angola, where PMS is sold at $1/L (about ₦330),

8. Iraq - $0.64/L (₦211),

9. Venezuela pump price is $0.60/L (₦198/L)withPresident Nicolas Maduro calling the approximately ₦198/Lpump price ‘one of the cheapest in the world’.

10. Even in the oil rich, United Arab Emirates (UAE) PMS is sold at $0.45/L which is about (₦148/L)which is more expensive than the price in Nigeria.

According to Globalpetrolprices.com, In Hong Kong, the pump price is set at $1.85/L (about ₦610/L) making the country the most expensive seller of gasoline in the world.

With the facts and figures above, at ₦145/L fuel is not expensive, it’s actually one of the cheapest in the world, but because of the poor living conditions of millions of Nigerians, it appears expensive and thus, many Nigerians struggle to afford it.

That is why the government needs to provide welfare programs, kill that disease called corruption, invest in electricity, education, fix refineries, provide jobs and reduce poverty in the country

Foreign reserve is used to strengthen a nations local currency n that's what d foreign reserve we should v saved was used for.
Today, buhari doesn't even v an economic team that can manage 3 states effectively that's y our local currency is sliding, from 1 dollar to N215 to presently N380 ....still sliding..

Actually, best practice is to use the tyre pressure recommended by your car manufacturer and not the tyre manufacturer as they sometimes differ.

Because the same tyre can be used in different cars with differing weights and therefore bear different loads, you should use the manufacturer's recommendation.

This can be found on the inside of your glove box compartment an on the "B" pillar of the car when you open the driver side front door.
I beg to differ with u
The pressure on d tyre is best to be used bc its specific for d said tyre
The pressure set by d car manufacturers refers to that of d tyre the car originally came with, so what of if one has a change of tyre?
wordychap: 7:13am On May 18, 2016
My car manual gave me 35psi
But checking d tyres of d car I saw max 51psi
I think the best notion is to check what's on d tyre of d vehicle especially if one has had a change of tyres before after car purchase.
