Uber Nigeria's customer care is truly the bomb. Their customer service has no match, but I can't say the same for the ride experience.
I write about my last experience with Uber Lagos here. The ride was not great, but the customer service as usual did well to make me feel better about the whole experience

Good news everyone,
You don't need to install a Yoruba keyboard to create tone marked Yoruba documents anymore. There's a new tool that will help you disintegrate the tone marking process from the content creation process in a very seamless way.
The website http://yorubaintonation.somee.com exists to make the process of adding intonation to your Yoruba text very easy. The advantage of using the tone marking tool over the more commonplace approach of typing with special Yoruba keyboard is that your writing process is not hindered by the tone marking process which can be pretty mentally tasking. Also, you can add tone marks to your Yoruba from any device, be it phone or laptop; as long as you have a device that can access the internet through a web browser. No installations required.
Just type your Yoruba text using regular keyboard characters when you're feeling creative and then, do (or even delegate) the bulk intonation later with the help of the Yoruba tone marking tool at http://yorubaintonation.somee.com.

Hello Aare,
I believe the online tone marking tool for Yoruba language at http://yorubaintonation.somee.com can come in handy for people learning Yoruba. Just thought to drop that here, in case anyone needs to add intonation to their Yoruba text but does not have a Yoruba keyboard installed.

Your story is really a page turner. You really know how to keep your audience wanting more
Please keep it coming. I found this story randomly via a Google search yesterday and I'm now addicted. Couldn't drop my phone as I spent two straight hours catching up on every previous episode.
What makes it more appealing to me is that I never mingled with so much bad influence like you did and I was totally sexless in school. So it's nice to see the perspective of someone on the other end of the spectrum
Nice one. Keep it coming!

The article originally appeared here: http://dejiolowe.com/2016/11/07/mcash-would-change-the-future-of-payments-in-nigeria/
Be nice and reward the author with a reference
rhapsody:
The Nigeria Inter-Bank Settlement System (NIBSS), along with numerous banks, have launched mCash as an alternative payment system in the populous country in Africa.
mCash rides on USSD and anyone can easily use the code to make payments at large stores, corner shops, etc. The mCash payment system, which is automatically available to over 28 million holders in Nigeria, can be used with any smart or feature phone.
The Central Bank of Nigeria has been pushing electronic payments in Nigeria for years. The elaborate program, dubbed Cash-less Nigeria, was driven massively in partnership with banks, switches, schemes and other stakeholders. The results have been fantastic as electronic payments in Nigeria is on a tear.
Despite the massive success of the Cash-less Nigeria program, merchant payments using Point of Sales (POS) terminals have not been as successful. Payments at POS terminals have been bedeviled with a lot of issues: High cost of terminals, which has been exacerbated by the devalued Naira. Poor telco data/GPRS infrastructure. Overregulation of participation and fees, which has made the business to be highly unprofitable. The list of issues goes on.
It was no surprise that banks started pulling back. Many at times, merchants desirous of having terminals are not given because they may not have enough transactions to allow the banks breakeven.
Not deterred by these, NIBSS and some banks rallied around to design a new payment system which would latch on to the recent success of the USSD banking in Nigeria.
Rising from the ashes of mobile money in Nigeria, another failed experiment in the quest for a cashless society, banks quickly repurposed their USSD codes to connect directly to bank s instead of mobile wallets. As the average Nigerian is already used to using USSD codes to load airtime or select call back tunes, there was an immediate affinity. USSD banking in Nigeria now has more s than all other channels apart from payment cards.
The mCash payment system allows holders to dial their bank codes or a special general purpose code and then pay any merchant. The paying customers and merchants do not need to be with the same bank. The transactions ride on the existing NIBSS Instant Payment infrastructure. Merchants get settled instantly instead of waiting until the next day as it would be for POS transactions. Banks do not need to create additional back office processes as the payment transactions are treated like regular NIP transfer payments.
Even the merchants love the new system as they would not need to pay interchange or MSC.
This is a new payment system and the jury is still out on how transformational it could be. It has all the potentials of a successful platform: reach, ease of use and cost to merchants.

Takwa Bay Beach is a highly exclusive beach which is located across the harbour of Lagos and a little further down Victoria Island from Atlas Beach. As you relax on the beach, you will in all likelihood see the local fisherman going about their work (tuna, shrimps and crabs are all fished off Nigerian waters). Further in the distance you can watch the ships and containers come and go at the Apapa Port and Lagos Harbour. There are waves breakers that enable you swim freely without the fear of high waves. Also, because of the fact that you cant possibly get to Tarkwa Bay on Land means you enjoy a 15 minute Sweet BoatRide from CMS and also A Lot of White Tourists(Babes) Visit Here!

An Old Beach, been going since i was 7 months , Eleko Beach is For those beach bums looking to get out of Lagos altogether. The beach is a mere 60km trip east of Lagos and in a 45 minute car journey along the Lagos-Epe Expressway. The beach is particularly popular with local families and facilities here include the option to rent a beach hut for a day and have a BBQ made for you. Also has High Dangerous Waves, Not for Learners.
4.ONIRU BEACH
Oniru Beach Oniru Beach is the perfect destination for those looking for a peace and quiet and a break from the hustle and bustle of Lagos. The beach is located on Victoria Island and features a number of bars and
beach huts following a recent estimated 15 million Naira investment by the beach’s owner, Sola Oniru. Note that this is a private beach and so payment is required for entrance.
5. BAR BEACH
Bar Beach is situated on Victoria Island. The beach is long and traverses the coastline from the west of the island by the Institute of Oceanography all the way to Eko Hotel on the east of the island. The beach is particularly popular with young locals who flock here in their masses on the weekend. I kind of Dislike that beach now.

Thanks.
P.S.: I prefer to get a tested and confirmed software, than to do trial-and-error buying discs from computer village.

I have only tried to ship stuff into Nigeria from ASOS once. It was not an entirely bad experience, thanks to their good customer service, but it did not turn out as good as I'd hoped for.
The order did not arrive at the specified date. And in fact, it did not arrive, even over 4 months after the expected delivery date. So, with little hope, I got across to ASOS customer service (via em-mail), and within a few hours, they had responded to me and processed a refund for my unfulfilled order.
Since then though (despite getting a refund and a discount coupon), I have not tried to make another order due to the negative experience. I am looking for someone who has made several successfully delivered orders from ASOS to Nigeria to give me fail-safe tips on shopping successfully on ASOS from Nigeria (directly). Kindly hit me up on [email protected], if you care to help.
