I will really appreciate if i can be guided on the next step to take.
I am currently studying Master of Professional ing @ ECU, Perth at the moment, so i decided to take another IELTS in order to change my course and i got 8.5 with minimum band 8.0 ( that's 20points) giving me a total point of 65 with my age and degree. This prompted me to try my luck with PR and all my research has even confused me further.
My challenge is this: i don't know the appropriate occupation to nominate because i currently have BSc Geography from OAU and the only experience i have is in Banking (3yrs).
The only related course to Geography on the list is "Cartographer" however VETASSES website states that atleast one year experience is required.
Please, i am open to any suggestion.

Yes...I was sponsored by my distant Aunty who happens to be a citizen... All I used as proof was sworn affidavit. You can however use ur sister's birth and marriage certificate as well as a letter of sponsorship from him stating your relationship. Regards

you need your yellow card ,notarized along side other relevant documents ...it is compulsory you ...let me advice you,Visa application is not a play thing ...don't be deceived ,as much as they're looking for a reason to give you a grant ,so also are they looking for half a reason not to..
If all required documents are not submitted , it's within the discretion of the case officer to either you or simply refuse your visa ..these are human beings ,you don't want to make their work difficult for them else the repercussion may not go well with you ..

And please, except yours is a special case or you have a particular personal reason, Front Load your Medicals!!!!!

go to any bank,preferably where you have an ,tell them you want to raise a draft in favour of BRITISH COUNCIL, send the draft alongside your registration detail page photocopy,to the British council office at lagos or abuja.thats all.

Monday 20/07/16 Day of orientation got mail from dibp that I'm AL3 and would take 3months when actually I was svp. Sameday got in touch with school and was told dibp has final say and that they can only give me an extension letter until 8 August if by then I don't get Grant I'll defer to Feb intake

22/07/16 sent extension letter and no reply, so I assumed I'll defer

25/07/16. My very own God sent Angel frm nairaland Toche1 called in and ask me to call dibp and insist it's svp and stop mailing, that after the call I'll call to inform him of my grant

26/07/16 called Pretoria and was redirected to supervisor for student applications, was told it was a mix up and that my extension letter is received and noted and that my application will be looked into that week..... Week ended no news #sad

02/08/16 Grant showed up 10:36 am

He has called Pretoria severally but always placed on answering machine for about 45minutes without the call been attended to.
This has happened over 4 times now.

how could you be issued a grant on a sunday? They don't even reply emails on sundays! My CO sent over 15 mails to me..none was written on a weekend. So forgive me I doubt this. Except u wanna tell us its today u checked ur inbox and saw the grant. Or perhaps the grant hanged in air since Friday and just got delivered today. If ur story is true then congrats.

That's not totally true....I actually received a reply to a message I sent on Friday. So i guess they work on Sundays now because of the rush.
