Why is Akpabio picking on her and sexualising her
First he accused a married woman of behaving like she's in a night club
Then his aide wrote on Facebook that she doesn't know more than rubbing pancake and wearing transparent clothes
All these are red flags
Joy Nunieh accused him once
This is distraction. It has nothing to do with the event in the Senate. If Akpabio's aide insulted her then her aide can equally insult Akpabio. Raising an issue that is entirely outside the event is a make-believe, after thought and distraction.

malali: Akpabio should recuse himself and hand over to the deputy senate president while he also submits himself to the ethics committee.
OR
They should appoint a bipartisan special investigator to look into the claims of sexual harassment allegations laid against Akpabio, this is not the first times such allegations are leveled against Akpabio.
We have to set good examples and show that everyone is held able. Akpabio cannot be the judge, the jury and executioner. As he has always been. This is not any different from military regime. We have to show the world , this is indeed a democracy.
Someone had an issue in the Senate and was asked to do the right thing rather than face the real issue she left it and excavated something that happened (let's believe that it's true) between them long ago that she kept quiet.
If you have a subordinate that did the wrong thing and you punished her. Rather than prove that she did the right thing and that you are wrong in punishing her, she will come up with the alibi that you sexually harassed her six months ago. Does this make sense? Why didn't her make the allegation when it happened?

Akpabio did not apply wisdom in dealing with the woman
There's no way he will come out smelling good from this
This woman's allegation is bunkum. If it's true why wait until an issue came up. As a senator she had all the powers and resources to institute an action. Why wait until now. If I'm Akpabio I will institute an action and claim heavy damages and let her prove the allegation.

But I read somewhere last week that this govt have used about 8 billion dollars to defend the naira so far.
You people will be talking like you are a CBN staff or Tinubu is your cousin and he gave you this information directly.
You choose to believe whatever lie and propaganda this govt is dishing out and I choose not to believe it....
Then the score is 1:1. You choose and I choose therefore no offence. Regarding defending the naira with 8 billion dollars, read Rewane's statement disowning that.
I'm not any politician's defender but I understand economics and finance. I know that the managers of our economy have been padding things for so many years. Our exchange rate then was not realistic. Do you know that back then people earn money abroad, bring it in by exchanging it at the parallel market, use the naira to buy fx at official rate and transfer out of the country. By this movement £1,000 brought in will go back to the UK at about £1,700. It takes courage and political risk to take some of the decisions that this regime has taken. This is not to say that they don't have their flaws. BAT is very courageous.

I wonder why so much pressure is put on the federal government. The federal government is getting almost half of what the states and LGAs are getting.

Bad roads that causes daily untimely deaths, unemployment, poorly maintained hospitals etc.. leads to massive untimely deaths and they are all caused by corrupt govt officials who loot public funds mindlessly.

It's a shame that everything is politicised in this country and most governmental actions are taken to score cheap political points.
What happened to due process and legal guidelines.
How many people have been arrested and taken to court beyond caring away drugs?
Why is the entire market shutdown even when not all traders deal on drugs?
If the onistsha market is shutdown why is the Idumota market still open?
Idumota market is still owned by the same people.

NAFDAC made mistakes or maybe they intentionally wanted to hyjack traders goods for whatever reasons.
They are using a good excuse to perpetuate evil at places like Onitsha.
The Onitsha drug market has thousands of shops. Many of those are selling drugs, others are selling other things.
There is a very important need to find fake drugs and arrest those involved on that. Everybody agrees to this including most of the traders.
Problem is that NAFDAC invaded these markets at the wee hours of the night, blocked all entrances to the markets, and started pulling down shops and breaking into peoples shops without the owners of the shops being allowed to come around. How is that right?
Most traders have many millions in cash inside their shops. Most products may have been packed in ways that need explanation for the NAFDAC officials to understand. All that was required was the presence of the traders. If they are found to be selling fakes, they should be arrested and if not, their shops should be opened.
But NAFDAC officials prefer a gangster approach by going into shops, opening shops, taking whatever they want without the owners allowed to be present, when the owners are just a pole away..., that is nothing but an abuse of power!
See one of them oooo. Killer

Small Uber corolla is now 9/9.5 m yet some foolish ones will still vote this government in the next election, the idio.ts in nigeria are more than the wise hence the politicians will keep playing us fool
The greatest mistake that Nigeria will make will be to bring in another regime in 2027. The results of the reforms are beginning to emerge. A reversal will seriously hurt the economy. Imagine going back to multiple exchange rate regime, fixed exchange rate regime, return of petrol subsidy, slow down of efforts to increase crude oil production, reversal of tax policies etc etc. Almost all state governments will be grounded, salaries will be owed, projects abandoned. We will return to the era of using ways and means to fund recurrent expenditure.

What actually is Nigeria doing in BRICS if you don't share the same diplomatic ideology with them.
With this, I see Nigeria on the middle of no where on international politics.
If you're pro-west then have nothing to do with BRICS and of you're for BRICS, stand with them.
If you want to be neutral then be.
Nigeria's foreign policy from the days of cold war has always been non-aligned.

It's totally wrong to shut down an entire market for the crimes of others - even if they are in the majority.
Good people cannot be paying for the crimes of evil people. Doing so defeats the essence of goodness.
Pick out the evil folks and deal with them ruthlessly.
When you have a neighbour that is a known criminal you better report him else the government will come and seal off the premises.

Why closing a whole market? The drug section is just 2 to 3 lines of shops while there are over 80 to 100 lines selling different things
This are market where they have to clothing section, building materials section, cosmetic section, foodstuffs station etc. Its a big market...
You can't close down the whole market instead close the affected section of the market.
What has someon who sells vegetables n red oil got to do with this matter that u close down sources of livelihood.
Some of the fake drugs are hidden in these sections that you mentioned.
