Got to the airport with my family at about 7:09am. The security at the entrance allowed only three people to enter with us. My husband sha went back outside later to bring my mum and mum-in- law in.

We sha boarded around 12:30 pm and took off around 1:30pm. Flight to Addis Ababa was smooth, my son slept most of the time and food was okay.
We got to Addis Ababa in the night( not sure about the time) and ed another Ethiopian airline flight going to Toronto.
We had a 1hr refueling layover in Dublin but didn't disembark. Then we took off for Toronto. The journey from Addis to Toronto seem like forever. It was longgg and tiring. When we got to Toronto, students with family were directed to a separate room where we did self declaration and also ed the identify of those accompanying us. We then proceeded to the desk of the immigration officer. Mine was a woman and she asked for our port, introduction letter and a receipt of tuition payment. I didn't make any payment because my school didn't require a deposit and I told her just that. She literally looked me in the face and said' I find it difficult granting you access if you can't show any commitments to your school'. I quickly explained the challenges of paying with Form A to her o and told her I had cash with me to do the payment. She asked me how much I had and how much my tuition for a year is. I gave answers to both questions and she said 'fair enough' then she stood up and printed our permits. From there we went to get our bags because Ethiopian airlines dropped them all at Toronto airport. We had to start searching for our bags and trolley to carry them. We checked them( bags)in again for our flight to St John's. At this point, I was just tired and couldn't wait for the trip to be over. We landed in St John's airport around 4pm on 30th August. The stress and journey was all worth it. I also noticed that everything here is a process and in stages. If you have a guide here, be thankful to God.
For those who would be traveling with toddler(s)..may God give you plenty doses of patience. My son showed me pepper. At some point he wanted to carry equal bags as myself and my husband , other times he would just refuse to move his tiny legs, and we had like 5 bags with us( 3 carry ons and two extra) we would beg him in English and threaten him in Yoruba. The boy no send us o. This same human would be calm in the plane o and keep other people engaged and entertained.

Landing Gist,From Abuja to Halifax Nova Scotia. I left For Abuja Airport on the 22/08/2022 I got to the Airport, I was asked for my Vaccination card, acceptance letter, enrollment letter and port. I went to collect my boarding . My luggages were checked, over weigh,I paid 100 Dollars for excess Luggage my Airline was Air .
It came to 7:55 We boarded to Paris . We stopped over at N,Djamena Chad for 1 hour we didn't come down from the aircraft. We left around 11 pm to Paris, we got to Paris 6: am Paris time. We had lay over for 5 hours.
We boarded to Montreal by 12:30pm dot because our flight was delayed for 1hr:30m. We arrived Montreal 1:30 pm local time.
I had already submitted my ArriveCan information and CBSA declaration items through my ArriveCan app, so there was no stress just confirm that my information was true and submitted in less than a minute on the kiosk machine.
I proceeded to the next officer was asked for my ArriveCan, if I carry anything like raw meat as my food stuff, I said no. The young fine girl asked me to proceed to the queue to get my Study permit
the queue was not much, when it got to my turn for study permit, a pretty fine young girl again was the officer,�� She greeted me with respect and asked for my port and letter of introduction only printed my study permit and gave me, no questions or queries.
I proceeded to claim my baggages and waited for my connecting flight to Halifax Nova Scotia.

The only issue I had was that immigration gave me 1 month study visa for a 4 year study program, I don't know if the immigration officer smoke weed that day for doing that. when I got to Canada 3 weeks were gone from the 1 month remaining only 1 week, so the CBSA told me they can't give me study permit beyond the validity of the visa on my port, that I should call the immigration immediately to explain the situation to them to extend my study permit. So I was given 1 week study permit.
I had to the immigration immediately they asked me to apply for extension of the study permit online before that one week given to me expires, I did waiting for approval soon. However I explained to the school, and was asked to show proof of extension application,I did. They told me I can start classes. Canada is very beautiful and worth every stress and money spent. I pray that everyone waiting for their PPR shall testify soon in Jesus name amen. Don't give up. Nothing good comes easily.

Anytime I visit the Canadian study visa thread, I used to read of how Canadian Visa will test your patience level, I used to doubt it but here I am experiencing it first hand. My application has clocked 9 weeks today and it doesn't seem as though the end is in sight just yet. In the beginning it took almost 7 weeks for my Biometrics and Medicals to be updated and this was after constant mails and webforms. Currently my eligibility review is yet to start and my supervisor and program coordinator just sent me an email that they advised I declined the TA offer for Term 1..........this particular one broke my heart cos the TA team had already scheduled me to give online lessons via zoom and I was already calculating my salary for September.

Anyways I have declined the TA offer and by next week , the school will process my deferral to January.

In all I want to move on from this whole wahala and just carry on with my normal waka without thinking of Canada. I believe God will perfect it in his time.

My University has started asking supply them with my Canadian bank details, study permit and SIN concerning my TAship contract.

They gave me up to 7th of this month to report.

And again I run to my God crying, father you blessed me with this opportunity and I will not loose it. I bring everyone and the current situation under the lordship of Jesus. Have your way Lord.

It all started at October 2021, firstly I tried USA and I was denied without even knowing the reason. My application was handled by course mate in undergraduate here in Nigerian. He travelled to Canada last year and did his application and visa by himself… he is a genius sha…
He assured me I will get Canada that I should give it a try.. he helped me in all the processes without taken a fee that if my visa get approved I can appreciate him(there are good people)

So he helped me in my ission and I got itted in to 2 different school. He wrote all my SOP for all my ission

On January 25th 2022 he submitted my visa after which I knew about naira land. So i noticed that we have to state our visa denial from reading the thread. I initially ignored it so I got information from this thread to send web form of which I sent by immediately.

On. 17 August I got Bvl without decision.. I just gave up. I was depressed after all this long wait I will be denied (my mind telling me). My friend that did my application drafted a mail to send to them after 10 days of wait. On Monday 29th August I emailed them by 7:00am and by 11:30 am my ppr dropped.

Because of depression I travelled to stay with my parents so I got the good new with them(family is everything)

Airline - Lufthansa / Air Canada
Date - August 29th 2022.
Time - 11pm.

I arrived Lagos airport around 5PM. Went to queue to weigh baggage, got to my turn and my bags were overweight. Lagos airport was extremely hot. Thank God I came with extra bag. So I had to rearrange cause they were items I couldn't leave behind. Lufthansa charges 80k to 32KG but I decided to pay 132k for extra 23KG bag.
This is because initially I had tried to find a way to cargo the items but I think the price I got was at 5k/KG so I kuku left it. ed queue again to reweigh again and this time I begged the lady and she allowed me sta there and counter balance( Lufthansa has a rule, you weigh, go and rebalance and queue.) I couldn't queue for a third time so I begged her. Done with weighing then I paid those guys to wrap my bag. Cost 1k/ bag. Proceeded to get my boarding .Thereafter I went outside the airport to spend some time with family and friends cause they were strict. Only my mum and sister were able to get in.
Went back inside around 9PM and they had already started boarding. Boarded and flight left Naija For Frankfurt  around 11:10. Food was good. Pasta and salad. They also shared fruit salad later on.
Arrived Frankfurt at 6:20. FrankFurt Time. Had a layover of 3 hours. Frankfurt airport is beautiful.
Next Air Canada delayed our flight for an hour.
Boarded around 11:15 AM. And another long journey started to Toronto. Aircanada had movies. Food served mashed potatoes and chicken. They had pasta as well. Later on they also shared chicken pie. And also shared headphones to all engers. We arrived Toronto At 1:18PM toronto time. Those with connecting flights were given priority while getting off the airplane. Got off and went to immigration. We were told to sit then a lady took us in 60s to another place where you do self declaration. Only our letters of introduction were collected. And they started giving us permit. Rushed to my gate for the next flight to windsor. That one was delayed too for another 1 hour. But we sha moved.
Arrived Windsor went to baggage claim to get my bags. My bags weren't checked at all. Still wrapped the way they were from Lagos.
Well that's just about it. Wishing everyone success in their journeys and applications. God be with everyone.

Upfront medical: APRIL 26th
ordered my GCMS note April 23rd
I kept on resending Medical slip while waiting
ELIGIBILITY: MAY 4th
I stopped sending Medical slip MAY 9th.
MEDICAL : MAY 16th
Note arrived: MAY 31
I submitted extra Documents
I kept on resending the docs while waiting
Ordered another Note: June 3rd. Nothing changed on my App yet.
Waiting period continues
Note Arrived: July 29th
All documents were acknowledged in my note
But nothing changed on my application still, except for the additional document they acknowledged.
I sent another Document and
ordered another Note: August 3rd
I kept on resending the new document while waiting
N.B: I used both Webform & Email for the submission of the extra Docs
The waiting period continued.
Then it got to some point I laughed at myself but the only thing I was doing is keeping my hope high whenever I felt down. Guess what, my agent didn't submit STATEMENT OF PURPOSE (SOP) along with my application, this alone wan make I craze but Omo na laugh I dey laugh too saying God will do it. I decided to take a step and not be ignorant, and then I found myself in @KrystalOD DM. I even thought she won't respond to my issue but as God will have it she responded and before I knew she took my issue personally as if na her matter, she asked me a lot of questions and started working out solutions for me. I will say this, CRYSTAL, GOD BLESS YOU! ONCE AGAIN, GOD BLESS YOU!! GOD BLESS YOU!!!
She finished everything and send it to me, and also gave me some procedures to follow which I did and I kept waiting but I never stopped resending additional documents until IRCC told me documents are received by the responsible office.
Just around 5:00am, I decided to resend my SOP again and then went to sleep but to my surprise when I woke up, I just say make I check my phone na email full my phone oh ☺️☺️

GOD DID IT! Honestly, God did it! I'm purely a novice when it comes to this immigration package but God showed His mercy. Hallelujah! God of perfect Jubilee has done wonders in my life ...
