Corpers cannot be appointed or elected. The use of Corp to do elections runs is an agreement between NYSC and INEC, that is why you see NYSC and INEC sign MOU before the exercise. INEC can never employ or appoint you as an individual Corp member. The deal is between them and NYSC. That is why if you as a corper indulge in any malpractice during the election, INEC will not hold the Corp member responsible but will hold NYSC because the MOU is between them and NYSC and not a Corp member as an individual, then NYSC will hold the Corper responsible because you are her property.
