The Central Bank of Nigeria has finally dismantled the longstanding obstacles that have kept millions of Nigerians in diaspora disconnected from their homeland's financial system. With the launch of the Non-Resident Bank Verification Number (NRBVN), yesterday in Abuja, the CBN has systematically eliminated barriers that once restrained Nigerians abroad from making seamless and cost-effective financial transactions to Nigeria. This transformative initiative is already eliciting much excitement from Nigerians living abroad as a dream come true. Now they can make transactions from anywhere in the world as if they’re right in Nigeria.
1. Mandatory physical presence for banking services
The Barrier: Previously, Nigerians abroad had to physically travel to Nigeria just to open s, update information, or complete basic banking tasks.
CBN's Solution: The NRBVN has eliminated this requirement entirely, allowing complete digital verification from anywhere in the world.
What This Means For You: No more expensive flights home just to handle banking matters. As CBN Governor Olayemi Cardoso highlighted at the NRBVN launch, this removes "considerable costs in of time and financial resources, especially for individuals residing in remote locations." Your financial connection to Nigeria is now independent of your physical location.
2. Limited access to Nigerian financial institutions
The Barrier : Distance created an insurmountable wall between diaspora Nigerians and Nigerian banks, restricting their ability to fully participate in the financial system.
CBN's Solution : A comprehensive digital platform that connects Nigerians abroad directly to the entire banking ecosystem.
What This Means For You : You can now open and manage s, conduct transactions, and access the full range of services from your phone or computer. The new platform creates what Governor Cardoso calls a "single digital gateway" that enables "seamless access to banking services" for all Nigerians, regardless of where they live.
3. Restricted investment opportunities
The Barrier : Complex procedures and verification requirements effectively blocked diaspora participation in Nigeria's growing investment markets.
CBN's Solution : The NRBVN paired with the complementary Non-Resident Investment (NRNIA) opens access to the full spectrum of investment options.
What This Means For You : Direct participation in Nigerian stocks, government bonds, real estate, and pension products is now possible without logistical headaches. The CBN has ensured you'll have "the flexibility to fully repatriate the proceeds of your investments" when needed, removing another major concern for diaspora investors.
4. Expensive and insecure remittance channels
The Barrier : High fees (averaging 7%) and security concerns made sending money home both costly and risky.
CBN's Solution : Formalized, regulated channels with lower transaction costs and enhanced security measures.
What This Means For You : More of your hard-earned money reaches its intended recipients safely and efficiently. This barrier removal is set to boost remittances, one of many initiatives to enable the CBN meet its $1billion monthly target from $4.73 billion for the whole of 2024.
5. One-size-fits-all banking products
The Barrier : Nigerian banks rarely offered financial products designed for the unique needs of customers living abroad.
CBN's Solution : A formal directive for banks to develop specialized offerings for diaspora customers.
What This Means For You : Access to financial products that actually understand your cross-border lifestyle, including specialized savings s, diaspora mortgages, curated investment bundles, and seamless cross-border services. The CBN has explicitly called on banks to "proactively develop and offer products specifically tailored to meet the unique needs and preferences of our diaspora community."
6. Inconsistent regulatory framework
The Barrier : Unclear and often changing regulations created uncertainty and risk for diaspora financial engagement.
BN's Solution : A clear, consistent framework built on successful models from countries like India and Pakistan.
What This Means For You : Confidence in a stable, tested system that has proven successful elsewhere. India's similar framework has attracted $160 billion in deposits, while Pakistan's Roshan Digital has pulled in nearly $10 billion. The CBN has adapted these successful models to Nigeria's specific context.
7. Disconnection from economic Nation-building
The Barrier : Distance often prevented diaspora Nigerians from contributing meaningfully to Nigeria's development.
CBN's Solution : Formal channels for investment in development projects and job creation initiatives.
What This Means For You : The ability to strengthen Nigeria's economy and community development from afar. As Governor Cardoso emphasized, this initiative ensures "that every Nigerian, no matter their location, remains connected and empowered to contribute to Nigeria's vibrant future."
This landmark initiative represents what the CBN Governor calls "not the final destination, but the beginning of a broader journey." The CBN continues to refine the system based on diaspora , progressively removing any remaining barriers to full financial inclusion, because your financial connection to Nigeria should be as strong as your cultural one.
Oby Ezekwesili never received any payment to appear before the Senate Committee, says Obinna
Veteran journalist and public affairs commentator, Maazi Obinna Oparaku Akuwudike, has dismissed as false and malicious the claims made by self-styled activist Sandra Duru, popularly known as “Prof Mgbeke,” alleging that former Minister of Education, Dr Oby Ezekwesili, was paid to appear before a Senate Committee investigating sexual harassment allegations against Senate President Godswill Akpabio.
Speaking on Adeola Fayehun’s YouTube programme on Monday, May 12, 2025, Obinna categorically denied Duru’s claims, describing them as a deliberate smear campaign targeted at high-profile Nigerians. He said Duru had falsely claimed during a live stream that Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan told her in a private phone conversation that there was no sexual harassment and that the accusations against Akpabio were fabricated. Duru further alleged that Natasha paid Dr Ezekwesili and the International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA) to speak in her defence—a claim Obinna said was not only baseless but completely uned by the audio Sandra circulated, which he confirmed contained no such confession.
Obinna disclosed that he was initially engaged by Sandra Duru for a media production assignment, receiving ₦2.5 million to produce a series of videos intended to malign Senator Natasha. According to him, he considered it a routine professional job until he began to notice inconsistencies and outright fabrications in Duru’s public statements. It was after hearing her make the controversial allegations during a live stream that he decided to withdraw and go public with the truth.
“It became clear to me that the assignment was part of a calculated blackmail agenda,” he stated.
BUSINESSMAN WHO’S MANAGER DIED IN HIS PREMISES SUES WIDOW FOR ASKING WHY, BLOCKS BID FOR FRESH AUTOPSY.
Valentine Oyemike, the owner of Valchi VFK Oriental Service Ltd, has sued the inspector-general of police over alleged human rights violations in connection with an investigation into the death of Fidelis Osaghae.
Oyemike filed the fundamental human rights suit on behalf of himself and his employees — Owiku Tracy and Cyprian Saamoyal.
Respondents listed in the suit are Kayode Egbetokun, inspector general of police (IGP); deputy IGP, force criminal investigation department (CID) Abuja; Adelogba Femi, assistant superintendent of police; Esther Osaghae, wife of the deceased.
Oyemike was the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2023 house of assembly election in Delta state.
Osaghae, a 33-year-old man, was the branch manager of a fast food and bar outlet owned by Oyemike in the Auchi area of Edo.
BACKGROUND Osaghae died on July 29, 2024 in Oyemike’s restaurant.
Esther said on the day he ed away, her husband, a father of one, left home for his workplace around 2:30am and told her not to lock the door as he would return shortly. The deceased’s wife said when she woke up at 5am and realised that her husband had not returned, she attempted to him but received no response.
Esther said when she called her husband’s office, Tracy, a supervisor, answered the call, and told her that “the situation was under control”.
Afterwards, Tracy stopped responding to the calls.
The deceased’s wife said around 6am, Oyemike called her to come to Favour Hospital, Afasho.
At the hospital, she was taken to the mortuary to see her husband’s corpse.
Esther said Oyemike told her that her husband drank Sniper — a chemical substance — in the office.
“Oyemike said Fidelis killed himself by drinking Sniper at the office. How’s that even possible? Our marriage is just a year old, and we have a two-month-old baby. He is not unhappy,” she said.
“I am not saying Oyemike killed my husband. I am saying that my husband died at his place of work and has marks on his body. I want to know the truth about his death.”
In an affidavit sworn at the federal high court in Abuja, Oyemike claimed Osaghae was confirmed dead at the hospital as a result of the “poisonous substance he took”.
Some human rights organisations, including Akin Fadeyi Foundation (AFF), International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA) Nigeria, and Women’s Rights Advancement and Protection Alternative (WRAPA) have petitioned the IGP to demand the release of the probe report.
THE SUIT
In the suit filed at the federal high court in Abuja, Oyemike asked the court to restrain the respondents from further harassing and detaining him and his workers “for reasons of suspicion or on of any purported investigation”.
The APC chieftain said the rejection of the counter petition and autopsy report by the police ASP is “illegal and devoid of fair hearing”.
“AN ORDER enforcing the Applicant rights to dignity of human person, personal liberty, freedom of movement and private and family life on the instant subject matter and by directing to order,” part of the court documents reads.
“AN ORDER of perpetual injunction restraining the 1st 2nd 3rd & 4th Respondent from further harassing, detaining or intimidating the Applicant unlawfully, whether for reasons of suspicion or on of any purported investigation with the respect to the allegations wherewith they are detained by the Respondent in breach of their fundamental rights to personal liberty, dignity of human per on, freedom of movement, private and family life, as enshrined under Sections 34(1), 35(1), (4)&(5), 37 & 41(1) of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999 (as amended).
“A DECLARATION that the act of rejecting both counter petition and the autopsy report by the 3rd respondent is devoid of fair hearing and constitutional breach as such the entire process of investigation conducted by the 3rd respondent is illegal and interference with the constitutional right of the applicants.
“AN ORDER OF THIS HONOURABLE COURT compelling the 3rd and 4th Respondent to tender public apology to the Applicants in two (2) National Daily Newspapers, for the violation of the Applicant fundamental rights enshrined under the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999 (as amended).
“AN ORDER OF THIS HONOURABLE COURT compelling the 3rd and 4th Respondents tly or severally to pay the Applicant the sum of N1.000,000,000.00 (One Billion Naira) only as general damages and compensation for the violation of their rights enshrined under the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999 (as amended).”
REPEAT AUTOPSY INVITATION
According to Oyemike, the autopsy report showed that the deceased took a poisonous substance.
However, human rights groups had raised concerns over the alleged inconsistencies in the autopsy report.
The groups had questioned why the report failed to explain dark patches on Osaghae’s chest, possible signs of restraint, or the source of bloodstains on his tros.
The family of the deceased equally rejected the autopsy report and demanded a fresh one.
A coroner inquest set up for the case also ordered that a fresh autopsy be conducted.
Following the order of a fresh autopsy, Oyemike approached the court seeking an order to uphold the first autopsy report.
The human rights group had accused the APC chieftain of allegedly creating drama to frustrate the case.
The group said a repeat of the autopsy is necessary and that even buried corpses can be exhumed for repeat post-mortem examination.

Warri delineation: DSS arrests British army officer, others, seize 57 AK 47, Six Pump Action, ammo
The Department of State Services has recovered 50 AK47 rifles, six pump-action shotguns and more than 3,000 rounds of ammunition during a covert operation in Asaba, Delta State.
The agency also arrested an Itsekiri serving in the British Army (name withheld) who allegedly procured the weapons at the behest of one Collins.
Multiple sources in the DSS confirmed on Friday night that the operatives from the DSS Delta Command apprehended the prime suspect, a Major in the British Army and several associates in connection with the illegal arms supply.
The British army officer was reportedly intercepted in Lagos as he was about boarding a flight to the United Kingdom, while his associates were apprehended in Asaba.
A source stated, ‘’An Itsekiri serving in the British Army is alleged to have procured weapons and ammunition at the behest of one Collins to instigate unrest in Warri.
‘’During a covert exchange near Asaba in Delta State, operatives from the DSS Delta Command apprehended the arms supplier and several associates, seizing over 50 AK-47 rifles, six pump-action shotguns, and more than 3,000 rounds of ammunition.
‘’Shortly thereafter, DSS agents in Lagos intercepted the British Major as he tried to cross Nigeria’s border en route to the United Kingdom.
“All suspects are now in DSS custody. The DSS will carry out a full and transparent investigation and hold anyone found plotting tribal conflicts to .’’
There are suspicions that the arms were procured by those opposed to the delineation of the wards and polling units in the Warri Federal Constituency.
A powerful traditional ruler is also being discreetly investigated in connection with the matter.
The Independent National Electoral Commission had earlier presented the report on the delineation of wards and polling units in the Warri Federal Constituency to the Ijaw, Itsekiri, and Urhobo ethnic nationalities.
The INEC chairman’s representative, State Resident Electoral Commissioner, Etekamba Umoren, at the presentation held in Asaba, the Delta State capital, said that the fresh ward and polling unit delineation fieldwork was prompted by the Supreme Court judgment of December 22, 2022, which ordered it to conduct the exercise.
Copies of the delineation report were received by Chief Victor Okumagba, Dr. Andrew Igban, and Dr Joe Bisina on behalf of the Urhobo, Itsekiri, and Ijaw ethnic nationalities, respectively.
In his address during the meeting, the INEC chairman noted that the meeting was the fifth engagement with the stakeholders since the apex court verdict, which mandated the Commission to carry out the exercise in the three local government areas in the Warri federal constituency.
He urged the stakeholders to study the report and respond to it appropriately, as the commission was ready to adopt the report as a working document in line with the Supreme Court directive.
However, the planned delineation has stoked tension in the state, with some groups and stakeholders opposed to the exercise.
Recently, scores of Ijaw youths marched to the INEC headquarters in Abuja in of the exercise.
Drawn from the Gbaramatu, Egbema, Diebiri, and Isaba communities, they said the INEC delineation exercise was fair and in line with the Supreme Court judgment.
They commended INEC for what they called a transparent process, which they said marked the end of years of political marginalisation of the Ijaw people in the constituency.
Olufemi Soneye, chief corporate communications officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited, has been named the 2025 spokesperson of the year by the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR).
The announcement was made during a ceremony held on Wednesday night in Abuja.
Soneye was celebrated for “transforming NNPC’s communications strategy and redefining the role of public engagement within the oil and gas sector”.
He clinched the award after emerging as the winner in the ‘Distinguished Spokesperson – Oil and Gas’ category for the second year running, ahead of industry veterans like Chinedu Ukadike of IPMAN and Igo Weli of Shell Petroleum.
He later topped the shortlist of finalists that featured Olumuyiwa Adejobi of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF), Olumuyiwa Akande of Sifax Group, and Osagie Edward of NIMASA.
Soneye said the recognition reflects the collective effort of the communications team at NNPC.

“This recognition is not mine alone — it belongs to the exceptional team I work with everyday.”
Soneye, who was appointed to the role in October 2023, was hailed for leading a communications overhaul at NNPC — while focusing on transparency, crisis preparedness, and stakeholder engagement.
“Under his leadership, the company’s communications platforms have become more interactive, with the brand’s narrative shifting towards accessibility and national pride,” the citation reads.
“The NNPC belongs to all Nigerians,” Soneye said.
“We remain committed to keeping the public informed and involved as we ensure energy security for our nation.”
Presenting the award, Joshua Ghana, deputy chairman of the house of representatives committee on power, described Soneye as a trailblazer.
“Mr. Soneye has raised the bar for public communicators in Nigeria. His work at NNPC Ltd is exemplary,” he said.
Human Rights Activist, Deji Adeyanju Celebrates Tompolo at 54, Hails Him as Niger Delta Emancipator
Deji Adeyanju, a prominent human rights lawyer and senior partner at Deji Adeyanju & Partners, has congratulated High Chief (Dr.) Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, on his 54th birthday, lauding him as a transformative figure in the Niger Delta’s quest for justice and development.
In a statement on Sunday, Adeyanju described Tompolo as the “great lion of the Niger Delta” and the “Ibe-Ebidouwei of Ijaw Nation,” recognizing his decades-long advocacy for the region’s rights. He credited Tompolo’s efforts with securing the 13% derivation fund from the Federal Government, a milestone that has bolstered economic development and empowerment in the Niger Delta.
Adeyanju also highlighted Tompolo’s role in protecting Nigeria’s oil and gas assets through Tantita Security Services, a firm founded by Tompolo. The organization has been instrumental in curbing vandalism, contributing to the nation’s economic stability. Additionally, Adeyanju noted that Tompolo’s advocacy has helped reduce environmental pollution in the region, though challenges remain.
“His monumental contributions to Nigeria’s economic development will forever be etched in history,” Adeyanju said. He wished Tompolo continued strength and resilience in his service to the nation and humanity.
Adeyanju credited Tompolo with contributing to the establishment of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), stating that their advocacy led to significant infrastructure improvements, including the construction of roads, provision of motorable routes, and access to drinking water in numerous Niger Delta communities.
He further noted that the relative peace the region enjoys today would not have been possible without Tompolo and other agitators choosing to lay down their arms. Adeyanju attributed the creation of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, which has empowered millions of Niger Delta youths through skills acquisition and development initiatives, to the impact of Tompolo and other agitators’ actions.
Tompolo’s work has spurred significant development across Niger Delta communities, earning him widespread recognition as a defender of the Ijaw nation. Adeyanju extended his wishes for a long, healthy, and impactful life, celebrating Tompolo’s enduring legacy as an emancipator of his people.
Hon. Akin Alabi, whom I fondly call my Honorable, is one politician I love and respect. I got to know Akin Alabi personally through my friends, Adekojo Idris Ayobami and Akin Akinwale. My first encounter with Akin Alabi revealed everything I needed to know about him. He is a very humane, standout, empathetic, and honest politician who loves, cares for, and respects the people he represents.
On the night I paid Akin Alabi a courtesy visit at his country home, he mentioned something that has resonated with me, his constant touch with his constituents. That night, I made a promise to myself that when I eventually become a representative of my people in the Olamaboro/Ankpa/Omala Federal Constituency, I will emulate his practice of visiting his constituents almost every weekend and staying in constant touch with the people. From our conversation, it was clear that Akin loves his people and does not hesitate to come through for them when called upon. He is loved by both the young and the old.
Akin Alabi stands as a beacon of representative democracy, embodying the principles of ability, service, and innovation. As the elected representative for the Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency of Oyo State, he has demonstrated a profound commitment to the welfare of his constituents and the nation at large. His tenure is marked by landmark projects, impactful legislation, and a deep-rooted dedication to uplifting the lives of those he represents.
Akin Alabi’s commitment to public service is evident through the numerous projects he has initiated. Among these is the strategic construction of the road from Accorn Junction to Hope Junction, which, despite its short length, serves as a vital artery linking Old and New Ife Roads. This project is just one example of how Akin prioritizes infrastructure development to enhance connectivity and promote socio-economic growth.
Perhaps the most significant achievement as the people’s representative for me as a person, is the establishment of the Youth Development and Resource Center. This center, which he built single-handedly, aims to empower the youth of Egbeda/Ona-Ara by providing training in various tech skills, including web development, content creation, graphic design, and cryptocurrency. By equipping young people with these skills, Akin is raising a generation of innovators and entrepreneurs ready to tackle the challenges of the modern economy.
Furthermore, Akin has addressed pressing infrastructural needs, such as the long-collapsed Paara/Ita Merin bridge, which had severely hampered local economic activities. His efforts to flag off and complete its reconstruction signify his commitment to restoring vital links for communities in the area.
In addition to these projects, Akin has invested in some important services for his constituents. He has procured numerous transformers to enhance electricity supply and constructed streetlights to illuminate the streets of Egbeda/Ona-Ara, ensuring safety and security for residents. His commitment to education is also commendable, as demonstrated by the rehabilitation of classrooms at Urban Day Grammar School, Old Ife Road, Ibadan.
Akin has written two best-selling and impactful books: Small Business, Big Money and How to Sell to Nigeria. These books have shaped and continue to reshape the business climate in Nigeria, as they are go-to resources for many startups and entrepreneurs starting out in Nigeria.
Hon. Akin Alabi’s impact extends beyond physical infrastructure to legislative contributions. He has sponsored a variety of bills aimed at improving the lives of Nigerians. Among these is the Constitution Amendment to Eliminate Discrimination Against Women in Nationality Law, which seeks to empower women by allowing them to their nationality to foreign husbands, thus promoting gender equality.
Another critical bill is the Federal Medical Centre Ona-Ara (Establishment) Bill, which aims to enhance healthcare access for residents of Ona-Ara and surrounding areas. This bill is a step towards ensuring that quality medical services are available to all citizens, particularly in underserved regions.
His legislative agenda also includes the Establishment of Federal College of Health Technology, Egbeda, which aims to train health professionals and fill the skills gap in the healthcare sector. Additionally, Akin has proposed amendments to the Criminal Code, ensuring that mental health issues, such as suicide attempts, are treated with the sensitivity they deserve.
Other important bills include the National Gaming Bill, which aims to regulate gaming operations and enhance revenue generation for the government, and the Amendment of the Electoral Act, designed to streamline political transitions and ensure continued representation.
Before his political career, Akin Alabi made a name for himself in the business world, particularly through his pioneering efforts in digital sports betting with Nairabets. As one of the first to introduce this concept in Nigeria, he played an important role in shaping the industry. His graceful exit from the company, without any controversy, speaks volumes about his integrity and commitment to his political aspirations.
Through the Akin Alabi Foundation, he has made contributions to the welfare of countless people in Oyo State and beyond. His philanthropic efforts reflect a profound desire to uplift those in need, regardless of their background or political affiliation. Akin has become a mentor to many, including young people from opposition parties, illustrating his belief to uplift so many young and vibrant people in politics and business.
As Akin Alabi celebrates his 48th birthday today, it is important to acknowledge his commitment to his ideals and principles. His journey through politics, business, and philanthropy exemplifies what it means to be a true representative of the people. May he continue to inspire, empower, and serve with the same ion and dedication that have guided him thus far. Happy birthday, Hon. Akin Alabi! Wishing you many prosperous years ahead in the service of God and humanity.

PDP Youth Alliance for Good Governance has backed the recall process of the embattled Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan by her constituents saying it is within their rights as enshrined in Section 69 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (1999 as amended).
The group noted that those trying to discredit the bold step of the good people of Kogi Central senatorial district are either ignorant of the law or are doing so deliberately out of mischief.
The group also noted that at any point where constituents lose confidence in their representatives, it is their inalienable right to initiate a recall if that is the last option available to them.
The group said that it is disturbed by the unruly behaviour and conduct of their representative at the floor of the red chamber which has earned an outright 6 months suspension, thus denying the district representation for that whole period.
According to the convener, PDP Youth Alliance for Good Governance; the actions of Senator Akpoti left a sour taste in their mouths and, sadly, the import of such unruly behaviour have cast Ebiraland in bad light.
“This is not who we are as a people. Ebira, even translated into English language means “character”, so, we are a people of sound mind and good character. It’s rather unfortunate that we find ourselves here trying to deal with issues that have caused a serious dent on the image of the good people of Ebiraland”.
The 2023 presidential candidate of the Social Democratic Party, SDP, Prince Adewole Adebayo has declared that Nigerian young people form “the demographic powerhouse that has the capacity to influence the outcome of elections in the country” and urged them “to deploy such lethal advantage positively during the next series of election in the country”.
He said this on Wednesday through a speech delivered on his behalf by Comrade Mark Adebayo, the national Spokesperson for the Coalition of United Political Parties, CUPP, on the occasion of a Youth empowerment program organized by Isoko Nation Youths which held this Wednesday March 5th, 2025 at the Oleh Campus of the Delta State University titled “Agriculture
The speech which was delivered extempore on his behalf by Mark Adebayo reads in part “This is a creative idea by young people with an initiative that is bound to impact positively on the larger majority of young people in this country beyond the Isoko nation. Agriculture is a vital economic indicator for the economic mainstay of any nation that s its young populations to participate in it.
“On the sub topic of ‘Harnessing the power of youth in political advocacy’, I dare say that, beyond political advocacy, Nigerian youths constitute the demographic powerhouse that has the capacity to influence the outcome of elections in the country. I urge you to deploy such lethal advantage positively during the next series of election in the country to ensure that candidates with the best proven pedigrees to run the country well emerge across board”.
“Beyond political advocacy, Nigerian youths cannot afford to be sleeping partners in the re-engineering efforts to reposition Nigeria towards real development. Nigeria’s young people are important in activating Nigeria’s indigenous technological takeoff. No matter how good or competent a presidential or governorship candidate is, no matter how wonderful their manifestoes look like, he or she will fail except they partner with the youths.
“The Isoko nation, from pre-independence, has provided economic empowerment for Nigeria through palm produce and farming that contributed significantly to Nigeria’s export economy long before the discovery of oil. And today, the Isoko nation is also an oil producing community in Delta State. Therefore, in of Isoko nation’s economic contributions to Nigeria, you are an economic majority”.
The Delta State Governor, who was the chairman of the occasion was represented by the Honorable Commissioner for Youth Development, Barrister ThankGod Harry, Trakiriowei and other of the state’s executive council. The government announced series of for the Isoko youths.
Prince Adewole Adebayo also promised to their agricultural initiative which Comrade Mark said would be communicated to them later.
Former presidential media aide Reno Omokri has challenged Natasha Akpoti to undergo a lie detector test following her allegations of sexual harassment against Senate President Godswill Akpabio.
Omokri, in a detailed video posted on social media, revealed that Akpoti-Uduaghan made similar allegations against him in 2021.
He said: "On Tuesday, October 12, 2021, Natasha Akpoti had a dispute with me and after the dispute, she went on social media and accused me of sexually harassing her.
"She claimed that at a state banquet at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa, held by President Goodluck Jonathan for the visiting Kenyan President, Uhuru Kenyatta on Tuesday, May 6th 2014, I had sexually harassed her.
"Now the thing is, a month before, the Chibok girls had been abducted, and as one of his presidential spokesmen, President Jonathan sent me to the United States as a special envoy to try to clean up Nigeria's image. I left in April and I wasn't back in Nigeria until the end of May. So, obviously, Natasha Akpoti lied.
"So what I did, I went on social media and I published my port stamp, with my port leaving Nigeria, And then, entering the United States, showing the stamps, and I also published a first-class British Airways ticket showing that I left Nigeria for the United Kingdom, and from the United Kingdom to the United States, and I wasn't in Nigeria throughout the time when Natasha Akpoti accused me. So she obviously lied.
"So what happened is that after the newspapers published my evidence, Natasha deleted all traces of her accusation. She deleted everything. She had made a video insulting me, my wife and my newborn daughter. She also deleted that.
"The next day, I got a phone call from a prominent Christian clergyman and they felt that as a fellow pastor, I would listen to a senior member of the body of Christ. He called me on three-way with Emmanuel Oritshejolomi Uduaghan, Natasha Akpoti's present husband.
"They appealed to me, they quoted the scriptural references about Christians taking each other to court and I listened to them and we settled the matter out of court. I was paid a large amount of money as damages, and I let the matter go.
"So fast forward to four years later, Natasha Akpoti had a dispute with the Senate President. After that dispute, she went on Arise TV and accused him of sexual harassment. It sounds like deja vu.
"The thing is, I do not know if those allegations are true. But one thing I know is that Natasha Akpoti is a liar, a known liar. So, here's the thing. The best predictor of future behaviour is past behaviour.
Omokri said before Nigerians crucify Akpabio, Akpoti-Uduaghan should be compelled to take a lie detector test.
"Come out. Take the test. You know, be escorted by one senator that is in your and another senator that is just objective," he said.
He added that because he had evidence, the Kogi senator retracted her false allegations and deleted every trace of them.
"Until she takes a lie detector test, the presumption is that she is acting on her past behaviour," he concluded.

* suspect arms-dealing, say discovery explains his desperation to return to office
In a curious turn of events, the Department of State Security, this morning, uncovered arms cache in the office of the ousted speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Mudashiru Obasa, a day after an uproar occasioned by the presence of the DSS in the assembly complex.
Sources in the assembly hinted that the security operatives assigned to the Assembly, had during their routine sweeping exercise, discovered a stack of new arms, including pump action numbering about 47, and live cartridges neatly kept somewhere within the speaker's office space.
The security men, sources claimed, had immediately alerted the state security service, who in turn sent in their men to take inventory of the arms and also take them into custody while investigation is scheduled on the development.
The sources, who shared pictures of the arms and when the DSS operatives were taking inventory of them said, the development had only confirmed why Obasa was desperate to return to office.
According to one of the sources, Obasa's Chief Security Officer, Baruwa Idris Okeowo, a retired service man, was in charge of the arms, suggesting that the former speaker could have been into arms-dealing, being the only excuse that could suffice for keeping such number of arms in the office as a politician.
"We now understand why he has been desperate to return to the assembly. Apparently, there was a need for him to come and tidy up this part and his failure to return to the house in the light of the lingering issue has made that difficult.
"It is also crystal clear his resolve to resort to violence and forcefully push his way through to the assembly. It is even unlikely that he has some more at home, and why he has been running around to return as speaker.
"For us, the easiest explanation to this is that the former speaker might be into arms-dealing otherwise what could he be doing with brand new arms and cartridges in his office when it was not as if the assembly or state was going into a war?
"Importantly, the new and responsible assembly leadership has played its part in all of this, the rest is left for the DSS and other relevant authorities to also play theirs. If this is swept under the carpet, then Lagos and Nigerians will see where all of these is coming from.
"We believe that the DSS, with the deluge of evidence before them, will do the right thing. And the right thing goes beyond just uncovering the cache and asking what he does with them, there are likelihood he is not alone in this and so, his allies must be uncovered, too.
"When we tell the public that the assembly has had enough of Obasa, people don't really have a grasp of that message. This is just one of the many impossible things you could ever link to a man occupying the office of the speaker of Lagos Assembly.
"This, indeed, is stupefying for the assembly and we are embarrassed by the sheer guts to perpetrate these things and the effrontery to seek to impose himself on the assembly as though the legislature must end with him," he said.
The lawmaker, who declined to be on record because the assembly case has become subjudice, added: "We are even more convinced that our leader, President Bola Tinubu, is not in of his excesses and his resolve to undermine democracy in the state. But we want the public to see this and understand what we are dealing with as a body."
Although the DSS has yet to speak either directly or by proxy on the development even though the arms recovered from Obasa's Office have been taken into its custody and a report was believed to have been filed according, there were concerns about those believed to be behind Obasa, who are likely to make effort to kill the matter.
"That concern is prevalent now since the development, but we must also learn to credit others, especially our security agencies with a bit of intelligence and assume that there are some, who would not fritter their personal integrity and as well, their professional credibility for someone they barely knew," another source vouched.
Victor Giwa, an Abuja-based lawyer currently facing trial at the FCT High Court on a nine-count charge of illegal eviction, malicious damage, and other serious offenses, has written to the President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), the Attorney General of the Federation (AGF), the Body of Benchers, and the Chief Judge of the FCT. In his letter, he alleges that the nominal complainant in his case is colluding to have him jailed.
It will be recalled that in June 2024, the NBA Election Appeal Committee disqualified Victor Giwa from contesting for the position of branch chairman due to allegations of misconduct and a pending criminal charge.
Giwa is now calling on the aforementioned legal bodies to intervene in his case.
Notably, in June 2024, Victor Giwa, through his law firm, sent a letter to the Attorney General impersonating the revered learned silk, Awa U. Kalu, SAN, pleading for a postponement of his arraignment. The letter was forwarded to the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID), for a thorough investigation on alleged forgery, impersonation, and attempts to pervert the course of justice.
Given the seriousness of the allegations against him, Victor Giwa is advised to focus on defending himself in court and refrain from any further attempts to obstruct justice.
EXPOSING THE FRAUDULENT AGENDA BEHIND THE SO-CALLED “MOTHER OF ALL PROTESTS”
The Niger Delta Peace Advocates, at an emergency meeting held at our headquarters in Port Harcourt, issues a strong warning to the faceless individuals attempting to disrupt the hard-earned peace in the Niger Delta region. These disgruntled elements, primarily based in Warri, have no legitimacy, no capacity to mobilize, and no genuine interest in the welfare of our people. Their agenda is nothing more than an ill-conceived attempt to cause unrest and extort money from unsuspecting individuals and institutions.
Over the years, we have worked alongside well-meaning organizations and stakeholders to secure the peace we currently enjoy. Through our investigations, we have identified these fraudulent actors and their baseless claims. Let it be clear: these individuals are not recognized by any credible Niger Delta organization, and their so-called “protest” lacks the of true stakeholders.
A WARNING TO AGITATORS AND THEIR SPONSORS
Any attempt to take to the streets to foment trouble will be met with decisive action. The Niger Delta Peace Advocates stands firmly with security agencies in ensuring that peace is not compromised. We caution these elements to abandon their plans immediately, as any disruption of public order will attract the full weight of the law.
Parents and guardians must warn their wards not to be lured into becoming tools for these fraudulent actors. The Niger Delta has moved past the era of blackmail, intimidation, and fake activism.
IN OF PROGRESS AND DEVELOPMENT
The recent attacks on the leadership of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), particularly the Managing Director, Dr. Samuel Ogbuku, are nothing but the desperate efforts of individuals who have lost relevance. Dr. Ogbuku enjoys the of true civil society groups, ex-agitators, and community leaders who are committed to development, not chaos. Under his leadership, the NDDC has aligned with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, bringing sustainable progress to our people.
We, the Niger Delta Peace Advocates, reaffirm our for stability, good governance, and constructive engagement. Those who seek to disrupt our peace must desist immediately, or face the consequences of their actions.
1. While she disingenuously accuses detractors of lacking balance, she herself completely lacks balance. Yes, these women may be qualified. But where were they appointed following best practices? Is that not the crux of the issue?
2. She says the women hold PhDs so in addition to the existing 400 PhD holders, another 3 more is wisdom. Can you imagine how selfish some people can be? The nation is broke, and you can justify hiring people who are clearly not needed just because they are probably your friends. This is even as, according to reports, these women outearn all the directors put together!
3 consultants earn more than 179 directors combined! How is that justifiable?
4. She says Foreign consulting firms command similar fees and would only send "white boys" to do the work. What a disgraceful attempt at sophistry. This is Nigeria where we don't have that kind of money and there are no "White boys" getting sent anywhere.
No one says Cardoso shouldn't hire consultants. But it has to be done reasonably.
1. Justify the need for them
2. Use transparent hiring practices
3. Offer fair remuneration that reflects Nigeria's status as a third-world country
That's not too much to ask!
I understand the concerns raised regarding the recent appointments at the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN). Let’s address each point systematically:
1. Appointment Process and Best Practices: The necessity for transparent and merit-based hiring is paramount. The consultants in question bring specialized expertise that complements the existing team. While their appointments may not have followed traditional procedures, it’s essential to recognize that in times of significant reform, unconventional methods can be employed to address unique challenges effectively.
2. Qualifications and Necessity: The addition of these consultants, who hold advanced degrees and possess extensive international experience, aims to infuse fresh perspectives into the CBN. Their roles are not redundant but are designed to tackle specific issues that require their unique skill sets. Investing in such talent, even during economic constraints, can lead to long-term benefits that outweigh the initial costs.
3. Remuneration Concerns: The reported salaries of the consultants have raised eyebrows, especially in comparison to existing directors. However, it’s crucial to consider the global market rates for such expertise. Attracting top-tier talent often necessitates competitive compensation. Moreover, their contributions are expected to drive reforms that could significantly enhance the nation’s economic standing, potentially justifying their remuneration.
4. Comparison to Foreign Consultants: Engaging local experts with global experience, as opposed to foreign consultants, not only retains funds within the country but also ensures that the solutions are tailored to Nigeria’s unique context. While the costs are substantial, they are competitive when compared to international consultancy fees, and the cultural relevance they bring is invaluable.
In summary, while the concerns about process and remuneration are valid, it’s essential to balance them against the potential benefits these consultants bring. Their specialized skills and experiences are assets aimed at navigating the CBN through complex reforms. Transparency and clear communication about their roles and the expected outcomes can help in aligning our perceptions shaa

Anytime person wan clean house for Nigeria, na smear campaign go follow. Cardoso no gree for them, abeg! Nigerians wey sabi know say e dey try fix the mess wey dem leave behind
Truthfully, If anyone wants to criticize the CBN, fine. But at least be professional. The TImes article just feels like an attack piece, not serious journalism. Sahara Reporters from Temu!
Edo Election Tribunal: APC Esan North East LG Witness its Over-Voting, INEC Irregularities
The credibility of the Edo State governorship election conducted by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) took a major hit at the tribunal yesterday when Afuda Theophilus, a key witness for the All Progressives Congress (APC), itted under cross-examination that over-voting occurred in Esan North East LGA—directly contradicting his sworn testimony.
Theophilus, who was presented by APC to defend the election’s integrity, initially claimed in his sworn witness statement that there were no incidents of over-voting. However, when confronted with polling unit results, he was forced to concede that the total number of votes exceeded the number of accredited voters.
“This shows there was over-voting?” Asue Ighodalo’s lead counsel, Owonikoko SAN, asked.
“Yes,” Theophilus replied, before weakly attempting to explain.
Even more damning was his ission regarding Form EC25B, the INEC-prescribed document for recording the serial numbers of sensitive election materials before voting. When referred to the INEC Manual for Election Officials, Theophilus was asked to confirm the prescribed form for documenting the serial numbers of result sheets and ballot papers. He affirmed that Form EC25B was the required form.
But when presented with the actual Form EC25Bs used in the election, he was forced to acknowledge that they had not been filled—no serial numbers, no signatures, no identifying details.
“There is no entry of serial numbers of result sheets or the BVAS machine. Can you confirm?” Owonikoko asked.
“I can’t find it…” Theophilus hesitated.
“Can you confirm that they are not there?”
“Yes, they are not there,” he finally itted.
Hon. Ogbeide Ifaluyi-Isibor, who spoke to the Press, stated that the revelations expose glaring irregularities in INEC’s handling of the election and raise serious doubts about the credibility of the results. “Our legal team have argued that failure to complete Form EC25B alone constitutes non-compliance with electoral guidelines, invalidating results from affected polling units. This is the law, it is not my opinion. It is a strict liability issue; and once again we are grateful to the APC for sending us such honest witnesses”.
With its own witness unwittingly providing ammunition to the opposition, APC’s defense appears increasingly shaky. The tribunal’s ruling on these revelations could have far-reaching consequences for the governorship election outcome.
Jubilations have filled the atmosphere as God has used Senior Pastor of the Dunamis International Gospel Center, Pastor Paul Enenche to restore a man’s sanity back to normal. God also used the senior pastor to perform many other great miracles.
This happened at the spirit-filled crusade taking place at the ASUP Hall, Federal Polytechnic, Idah. The crusade series which has been recording thousands of persons from both far and wide, have seen multitude receive healings and answered prayers to their life challenges.
Meanwhile, on Saturday, 8th of February, 2025 during the healing and deliverance crusade at the ASUP Hall, Federal Polytechnic, Idah, thousands of Christian faithful witnessed yet another remarkable miracle of God as God’s servant, Pastor Enenche, through the power of God, prayed and God restored the sanity of a man back to normal.
Mr Emma who was bound in chains because he was previously mad, regained his sanity when he was brought to the crusade ground.
While praying for God to restore back his sanity, Pastor Enenche prayed that God cast out the spirit of insanity from the man. He commanded the mind of Emmanuel to return back to normal and God answered his prayers.
He said, “lose him and let him go!”
After his healing, Mr Emmanuel said he never believed in his entire life that he could ever stand in front of a mighty man of God as Pastor Enenche.
He said “…Before everybody in the whole wide world today, I never believed in my life that for the first time in my life, I will stand face-to-face with a mighty man in ministry.”
While recounting the genesis of the madness, Mr Emmanuel’s father said “November last year, he had a motorcycle accident and hit his head on the ground.”
“So, we went for medical investigation and we discovered that his skull was open and they (Hospital) said we should go for CT scan to know the status of the brain. They said it (the CT scan) will cost about N300,000. Since then, we did not have that money to go for the CT scan.”
“After some time, around early January this year, he started behaving abnormal. Since that time, it has not been easy with us. “
When asked why they had to chain his son, Emmanuel’s father replied saying, “we had to chain him because he was violent and embarrassing people.”
Pastor Enenche prayed for him, casting out every neurological deficit that was causing the psychiatrist tendency in Mr Emmanuel.
The man of God also asked that Emmanuel be brought to Abuja and from where he would resume his studies of ing because he had dropped out of the Federal University of Lokoja.
…Says Council has notified security agencies on fake task collectors claiming to work for FCT DOAS on Haulage, Transport assignments
Abuja Municipal Area Council, AMAC has denied any association with so called ‘AMAC Boys’, allegedly harassing motorists and other citizens across the nation’s Capital, maintaining that all its staff are well trained and retraining for revenue collection.
Recall that the chairman, on July 2024 AMAC, Zakka Maikalangu, warned against the harassment of government officials and residents of the council by illegal revenue collectors who had always maintained that were assigned by the FCT Department of Outdoor ment and Signage to aid it generate revenue on transport and haulage with the territory.
Maikalangu, during a press conference in Abuja recently, stated that satellite areas like Dei Dei, Nyanya, part of city center, University of Abuja bridge are designated for agents of the council to check for revenue.
He advised residents to report anyone harassing them for revenue to the council or the nearest police station for prosecution, saying the council has a mobile court to prosecute offenders.
He said: “This press briefing is very important at this time as it is an opportunity to reawaken the consciousness of residents of the council and also to correct the anomalies making round within our revenue generating sector.
“Some of them have chased and collected number plates of vehicles from the Presidency, National Assembly, Embassies, Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs). The reports of these acts had caused the council a lot of embarrassment and have given us a bad name.
“As a responsible government, it is our duty to redeem our image that is battered with bad names attach to it.
“We will henceforth situate our staff in a designated and organised centres, in places such as University of Abuja area, Nyanya and Deidei axis to professionally coordinate the activities and collection of mobile advert for the council.
“ All we are saying, let them be professional and don’t jump on vehicles, stop dragging car keys with drivers, if you are caught you will be treated as a criminal. I repeat you will be treated as a criminal.
“Our team of security agencies will commence a routine checking, we will arrest anyone claiming to be AMAC staff on the road. We will no longer tolerate it. If you are arrested you will be prosecuted immediately by our Mobile court.
“I want to inform you that the council reserved the right to revoke the License (s) of revenue collector(s) who choose to go contrary to this advice. We will regard such partner (s) as traitor (s) and will be treated as such.
“The general public is advised to treat the message with utmost importance and hereby ened to report such anomalies to the Council Revenue Division.
“However, FCTA will say they don’t know them. Therefore, it’s a problem that needs to be tackled with the cooperation of residents. If you see them or if they want to harass you, drive them to the nearest police station or AMAC. We have a mobile court and security agents that will handle the matter.
“Again, I want to urge residents to pay their revenues to the council so that we can continue providing democratic dividends to people. We need revenues to provide basic amenities for people. Pay into AMAC , don’t pay cash to anyone as we are determined to make AMAC better for all of us,” noted Maikalangu.
The rebuttal came on the heels of a report published on Vanguard Newspaper on Friday 7 February, 2025, where the Commissioner of Police, FCT Command, Olatunji Disu disclosed this at the end of the FCT Security Council meeting in Abuja, urging residents and the motoring public to report to the police anyone who harasses them on the road in the guise of revenue collection.
The claim was that the miscreants are popularly called “AMAC Boys”, and are spread across the six Area Councils but their activities are more pronounced in Kubwa, Bwari Area Council and in the city centre which falls under the Abuja Municipal Area Council AMAC, hence the tag, ‘AMAC Boys’.
Fear of Perjury: Why INEC Refused to Call Witnesses in the Edo Election Petition - Omorodion Omoruyi
INEC’s decision to forgo presenting a single witness to defend its role in the Edo governorship election has baffled many. However, the Commission’s silence appears to be a calculated effort to avoid the legal risks associated with perjury—a risk made all too real by recent events.
On February 5, 2025, just a day before INEC was to open its defense, Professor Ignatius Uduk, a former INEC returning officer, was sentenced to three years in prison for falsifying election results and perjury. Uduk’s conviction underscores the severe consequences of giving false testimony, particularly under Section 118 of the Criminal Code, CAP 38, Laws of Akwa Ibom State 2000. The law prescribes up to 14 years imprisonment for knowingly providing false testimony in judicial proceedings.
This precedent likely cast a long shadow over INEC’s legal strategy. The PDP’s case hinges on evidence certified by INEC itself, including election documents and BVAS data. To defend the APC’s declared victory, INEC would have needed to discredit its own certified records—a move that would have exposed its officials to potential perjury charges if their testimony contradicted the evidence.
This decision mirrors INEC’s approach during the 2023 Kano governorship election petition, where the Commission also refused to call witnesses. That gamble backfired when the Tribunal ruled against INEC. While avoiding the stand spares its staff the risk of criminal liability and public humiliation, it leaves the Commission’s legal position precarious.
“INEC’s silence in this case speaks volumes,” said Hon. Ogbeide Ifaluyi-Isibor, commenting on INEC’s abrupt decision to rest its defense. “The refusal to defend the credibility of the election it conducted raises doubts about its impartiality and ability. INEC was a principal actor in the electoral heist we witnessed in Edo. Their decision not to call witnesses, despite promising to do so, feels like an ission of guilt.”
With judgment imminent, the Tribunal must decide whether INEC’s inaction strengthens the PDP’s claims of collusion and irregularities or simply reflects a strategic retreat to avoid further legal entanglements.
Ultimately, INEC’s reluctance to defend itself raises the question: was this a show of caution—or a tacit confession? Only the Tribunal can decide.
...Commission hurriedly closes case as Court adjourns to February 10th
In a shocking twist to proceedings at the Edo State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Abuja, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has again today Thursday 6th February failed to present any witnesses at the Tribunal to defend it's declaration of APC and its Candidate, Sen. Monday Okpebholo as winner of the September 21st Governorship Election in Edo State.
It may be recalled that the commission had on Wednesday 5th February 2025, announced the absence of their witnesses in court and pleaded with the Tribunal to adjourn proceedings to Wednesday 6th February to enable them present five witnesses; while presenting three documents forms hitherto tenderred by the Petitioners
At the resumed hearing of the petition marked EPT/ED/GOV/02/2024, Counsel to 1st Respondents(INEC), Kanu Agabi SAN, surprisingly announced to the court that INEC will be unable to present any witnesses and moved to close their case abruptly.
This development left the Court room in shock as expectations were high especially within the camp of the All Progressives Congress(APC) that the commission will call witnesses today to give oral evidence in of it's declaration of Senator Monday Okpebholo as Governor of Edo State which is being challenged by PDP and it's Candidate, Dr. Asue Ighodalo
Penultimate week, the commission had through Anthony Itodo, a senior technical officer in its ICT department, submitted 152 BVAS Machines in evidence under a subpoena by PDP for the proof of alleged multiple incidents of over voting that occurred in the Edo Election.
Following the absence of INEC witnesses, Counsels to Gov. Monday Okpebholo and the All Progressives Congress(APC), Onyechi Ikpeazu SAN and D. C Dewigwe, SAN pleaded for adjournment to enable them gather their own Witnesses and open their respective cases.
Former of the Kaduna State Executive Council (2015-2023) have dismissed allegations of corruption against them, calling it a politically motivated smear campaign by the Uba Sani-led istration.
In a statement, the ex-officials once again rejected the Kaduna State House of Assembly’s report, which claims N423bn went missing under Nasir El-Rufai’s leadership. They argue that the accusations are fabricated and being recycled for political gain.
The House of Assembly’s report, first released in June 2024, resurfaced this week, with some media outlets treating it as “breaking news.” The former officials insist they debunked these claims in June and July 2024, proving that the allegations lack credibility.
They contend that many of the loans listed in the report were not drawn under their istration or were disbursed after their tenure ended. Some loans, they say, were double-counted, and even a railway loan that was never contracted was included in the accusations.
“Only those inclined to fiction can believe that 40% of Kaduna’s earnings over eight years simply vanished,” the statement read.
The former officials also accused Governor Uba Sani’s istration of taking credit for El-Rufai-era projects while falsely claiming financial mismanagement.
They highlighted that several key projects—including schools built under AGILE funding, World Bank CARES infrastructure projects, and RAAMP-funded roads—were initiated under El-Rufai but are now being presented as Sani’s achievements.
Beyond the corruption allegations, the former officials claim that the Uba Sani government is also orchestrating a crackdown on El-Rufai’s allies.
They cited the case of Bashir Saidu, who was allegedly abducted in Kaduna on December 31, 2024, and remains in prison despite being granted bail. Similarly, Jimi Lawal is said to have been detained unlawfully even after meeting bail conditions.
Additionally, the government has allegedly used istrative measures to block their release, including suspending land verification services to prevent them from securing bail.
The former officials argue that the real motive behind the allegations is to damage El-Rufai’s political prospects. They claim that since the N423bn missing funds claim is unproven, the government is pursuing media propaganda and pushing criminal charges against former officials to create the illusion of wrongdoing.
Meanwhile, Uba Sani continues to publicly insist that he has no rift with El-Rufai, a claim the former officials call dishonest, given his istration’s actions.
The statement concluded by highlighting El-Rufai’s achievements, including Kaduna’s IGR growth from N13bn in 2015 to N58bn in 2022, public service reforms, and infrastructure projects.
“We will not be silenced. We will continue to defend our legacy and expose this smokescreen of deceit,” the former officials declared.
