skydiver01: What's the interest % for this 2036 fgn bond? Are fgn bonds available weekly like t-bills? |

Uberchic1: So I decided to try Zedcrest Wealth myself to check out their mutual funds. They offer naira and dollar savings, and treasury bills as well. But my main interest was the mutual funds. And so far they offer a Money Market Fund, and a Fixed Income Fund. The money market fund has fair interest rate and was above 22% since I put some money in it. Was at 23.44% when I invested, and is at 22.90% today. Was 22.18% yesterday. Then I tried their fixed income fund out of curiosity cos it had 9.62% YTD. Oh boy, since I funded that one, the money just kept decreasing and increasing slightly but never went above what I actually put there. And the YTD has dropped to 9.12%. So do that one at your own risk. Now, where they shine. I was discouraged and sold my fixed income fund units. I lost just N23. The sale was instant. My wallet was credited immediately. And I immediately withdrew the funds into my ed bank and my gt was credited within 2 minutes. The whole process of selling my fixed income fund units and my funds entering my Gtb took nothing more than 5 minutes total. That was impressive to me cos some fund managers take a whole 24 hrs to process withdrawal. Pros: instant sale of units, instant withdrawal, withdrawal can only be made into a commercial bank ed to your bvn and in your own name. In all this since ing, I didn't have to customer care once. *Forgot to add, no top-up or withdrawal fee wen funding into or withdrawing your funds from your wallet. Cons: omo, don't try their fixed income fund if you don't have high risk appetite abeg. Anyway, wanted to share my review cos I can't find any customer reviews on zedcrest here. 2 Likes |

Please does anyone have experience with Stanbic ibtc Guaranteed Investment Fund (SiGif)? Sounds like a safer alternative to the balanced fund with only 10% total allocated to equities and guaranteed return of capital. Can't find much from people who have invested in it.

Oyindamolah: Ha, noo oooo. From 10k and above, top up is processed at N250 flat. and that's for top up via bank transfer. Which is how I did it. They also have the card option to top up but that one is about 1k-2k processing fee. I've funded the acct only once on my birthday cos they gave me free top up as birthday gift. That's my only issue with them. 1 Like |

lajid: Cowrywise is sec licensed. But they don't have nice rates for regular savings or fixed deposit. Where they shine is their emergency savings and mutual funds. They have their own Cowrywise money market portfolio along with several other mutual funds available on their platform. The emergency savings is based on the money market. It's usually around 21% per annum. Downside is withdrawal takes 24 working hrs. They also charge N250 for top ups over 10k and N75 for 5k top ups. And N25 for lower. Their platform is easy to use imo and like every other other financial platform, have good and bad reviews. I use their own cowrywise money market portfolio. 3 Likes |

Is anyone using Coronation mmf by Coronation asset management? How are they and what's their rate today? I've seen someone on Twitter claim it's 26.88% today but their website doesn't share that info and you have to sign up to get any info on their app

legacystore: Them and Renmoney have the highest interest rate for locking money, I believe. That said, I'll advise anyone interested to read more customer reviews and weed out the PR ones before making a decision. There's a LOT of fairmoney (and renmoney) PR about. My experiences have been good but I've never taken loan from them or used the fairlock or put more than N2m there. And again, your funds are insured only up to N2m as it's a microfinance bank. 7 Likes |

legacystore: They're SEC licensed and your funds are NDIC insured up to N2m. I've used them for about 2 years for savings only; their fairsave feature which claims 17% interest with no withdrawal restrictions but is more 15.7% with my calculation (which could be wrong). Their app could also be better. But I haven't had any issue with money going missing or unexplained deductions. Their 28% fairlock is for 2 years though. 1 year fairlock is 26% 2 Likes |

aieromon: That means I shouldn't be paying the 1500 right? Do you know how much the actual fee is or if it's free for packages less than 0.5kg . On the tracking page, it shows my package is 0.132kg. They say it's Express (EMS) and not ed mail. And because the tracking number starts with EH and that N1500 is the minimum clearance fee for anything that comes through there. Please how can I resolve this one |

yomzy4cool: aieromon: Please I was just ed by my local post office to come and pick up my parcel. And they said I should come with N1500 for "Parcel Clearance Fee" and said I'll be given receipt. Abeg, is this a new legit thing by NIPOST or is my local PO just trying to scam me? She said the 1500 is based on weight but My package is very small, less than .5kg asked on how the person always sends things to me. Also I didn't pay this for previous similar weight parcels. Pleasee help. |

Please I was just ed by my local post office to come and pick up my parcel. And they said I should come with N1500 for "Parcel Clearance Fee". Is that a new legit thing by NIPOST or is my local PO just trying to extort money from me? My package is small, less than 1kg. Also I didn't pay this for previous similar weight parcels. Pleasee help. Edit: I called the person back and she said I'd be given a receipt and that the 1500 is based on weight. I know the package is tiny based on past experience with the person who sent it. But as she mentioned receipt, is this some new NIPOST rule for real? Or na zobo? |
