For your peace of mind, use Qatar. For me, it's Qatar or BA.

Wahala...
Me and my brother agreed on Egypt air, few hours latter he called me that his friend said I should not even try Egypt air. People say don't try Air Maroc, now stay away from Ethiopia airlines.

I'm confused.

Any form of legal stay in the uk counts towards the 10 year route, T4, PSW, T2 if all equal 10 years u get ILR.
T2 alone 5 years equal ILR
ubby26: 11:50am On Aug 03, 2023
Thank you.

koonbey:

Once you get T2, you are on the 5 year track beginning from when you get the it (all other things being equal). And yes, you would require sponsorship for the 5 years.

I got only 2 months though. Mine ends November 2023 while my husband BRP expires January 2024. I wrote to the Home office and they said it's not a mistake that it can be 2 months or 4 months. That if I want it changed, I should request a new CAS from the school.

CheesyTee:
Yea, that because study visa is valid for 1yr and 4 months.

For Sep program, it ends by another September. Students then get additional 4 months on their visa validity

God bless you for this comment. This is the most sensible comment on the thread along with a few others.
I can't believe the comments on this thread.

Man the problem is with you. You are the problem and you need to fix if not, you will use your own hand and ruin your marriage. You bringing this here shows that you have nagged her down alot and you have probably talked about this to a number of persons before bringing it here. That is very bad. You are creating room for people to disrespect your wife, the mother of your kids. You have just allowed people insult your wife for nothing. Somebody you have been married to for 11 years!!! And you cannot trust her to make good decisions on her own. You have a thing for micromanaging her and it would not work cos situations will come for her to make decisions immediately and she cannot consult you for every decision she has to make.

People telling all sorts here are not married

Adjusting to a new country is not easy. Oga you need to change and be a better person for yourself and your family. If you want this marriage, you have to learn to trust your wife and this excessive need to control her should stop. She is not a child. She is an adult and can make decisions on her own without you breathing down her neck.

I wish all the best.

pedel:
You are really very stupid for ignoring your wife.
You are making a big mistake.
Your wife is in the UK for just few weeks and you are already suspecting her of infidelity.
What kind of a woman was she when she was in Nigeria?
Your wife hasn’t changed. She is just adjusting to the new environment.
Stop listening to people in Nigeria who have no slightest idea of what it’s like to live in the UK.
Your wife has a lot of adjustments to do and so do you.
You will never realise the type of culture and way of life your wife just entered into.
She need all the help she can get.
Don’t make her life difficult because you are feeling insecure.
I have lived in a different country in Europe for over two decades and presently relocating to England in the next few weeks and I can tell you your wife needs your , and not you showing some useless attitude that is going to break your home.
Go and your wife ASAP and stop grumbling about who your wife talks to or relate with in the UK.
Whenever your wife tells you she is sorting out things on her own, just trust her.
She would have to make many on the fly decisions that she won’t have time to get your opinion. Trust her decisions.
Few weeks ago I went to the UK with a list of areas to check properties, having done all my research online.
I parked my car at the car park beside KFC to use the rest room.
On my way back I saw people physically dealing and using drugs beside my car. I saw another man emptying the content of someone’s truck into his empty truck and zoom off when I said hello to him. This was in broad day light. I knew immediately I couldn’t live in such area.
I had to make many decisions without even discussing it with my wife.
Trust your wife. She is not cheating on you or disrespectful. She is not undermining you as her husband.
Living in the UK requires that she has to be independent and that has nothing to do with you.
Always offer your and if she tells you she is ok then let her be.
Stop listening to clowns on Nairaland who would gladly trade place with you.
Don’t distract your wife’s mental health and studies with stupid attitude.
If you want to talk send me Dm.
God bless you.

So you should try refreshing the site everyother minute. I had same issue when i applied around 6th of July, couldn't get any date. I would try midnight for hours and then boom, one faithful morning on the 13th or so, i had told myself i'll refresh every 5 minutes and that's how i go a slot for 27th July, which had been closed all along and the only open dates where from 15 August.

So just keep trying and whatever date come up during the month, book your appointment immediately for that date. You can later keep trying for an earlier date, but first secure any available date. cos the longer you stall, the harder and farther the date you will get.

Kingacewade:
Hello everyone. Please I am finding it difficult to get a date for my UK student Visa Biometrics in Ikeja, Lagos.
Please what do I do? There are no dates available at the moment. My agent said I should keep checking the website till the date appears. I have been checking for days now. Is there a particular day or time the dates appear?
Do I visit the center in person and make enquires? Kindly share your experience if you have used the Ikeja center before. Thank you all..

Save yourself the hassle of transit visa via KLM. Use Ethiopia Airline. You will arrived London Heathrow around 8am next day. National Express bus app. Book bus from London Heathrow to Bradford. Enjoy yourself.

Good morning NairaLanders.

Please I need assistance/guidance regarding booking a flight from Lagos to Bradford. I am going with my spouse and I have checked Skyscanner and wakanow for best routes that is affordable and will not require a transit visa.
Between KLM and Quatar airline which is better?
I noticed that the cheaper the flight, the longer the layover. Please I need your comments and suggestions. Thanks in anticipation.
