Please my advice is stick to cooked food. And dont be to eager to have your dog eating too much as it recovers from the infections it had it'll naturally eat better. Dogs at this age need protein lots of it but in a balance diet so that they dont become over weight.

Start your obedience training as soon as possible.

As for the breed of dog you have while its nice to know its not really important but if you are really all out to know visit a good DOG VET as pics are never enough to tell exactly which breed is in a living lovely Dog.

The Squirrels will mostly die due to cold next time you get one also get a sparrows nest or any small sized bird nest and keep them indoors (i had a house squirrel for over 2yrs until i bathed in in dettol water long time ago)

Dogs wet them selves when intimidated or scared or very very excited. if non of this conditions were present then you should see a vet. Also as Mujeedah650 said you may need to train her if she is not trained.

I was about to open a thread on zoonosis until i saw ur question...Foetus are some of the things we condemn in abattoir cuz of Brucellosis which is a zoonotic d6.and for u to get a fetus dt means an abortion occurred in d cow and d most common cause of late term abortion in cattle is Brucella bovis
except people now rear cattle get them pregnant and gives abortificients ooo.or maybe a pregnant cow was mistakenly slaughtered and d fetus was extracted and its been confirmed to be Brucella free.
But as we all know Nigerian will always say this vet people don come again...Brucellosis can cause recurrent abortion in ur dam

Minimum of 8weeks is recommended this ensures the seller has given your new pup the basic vaccines and she has been nurtured well by the bitch. Always consider that the pup is more prone to infection the younger it is so focus on the vaccination but try not to get her/him earlier then 8weeks especially if traveling

The dogs of Lagos are stepping out in style

Once again this walk isn't about breed or pedigree but about love and friendship with dogs. It's getting to know each other and learning it's about educating society about showcasing how lovely owning a dog can be it's about fun for the dog and the owner and I'm suggesting we start with one man one dog.
Like Prodeegee said we are still planning and suggests are welcome.

What of those with very agressive dogs? Because with the population and the dogs that resent other breeds wld want to fight.I think these points should be put into consideration and planned

All dogs require socialization with other dogs some may be aggressive at first but as the owner is there to oversee it they'll learn to socialize with other dogs it's all about control and handling we plan to start with leash and progress as we get people trained in handling.

I have followed your pet posts on nairaland and I'm becoming a fan. Thank goodness your dog is ok. It's great to see her/him looking lively.
Eggs are good for cannies but only 1/day and as a rule of thumb for a teething dog buy him a chewer and toys to chew on.

This is so nice by the OP but I think u hav to be careful and select a proper home for her if someone cant afford to buy a beauty like her for such a good price I doubt if they can maintain a proper home for her so please Be sure of intentions before releasing the dog to anyone experienced or not

Guys in Lagos I think nairaland has enough dog owners for us to attempt and have a Dogshow for all dogs.
My suggestion is that all those who are interested should just send me an email and we can coordinate from there (will have my Whatsapp number posted as soon as it's set up today)
Please note I'm not a breeder and don't sell anything just a dog lover who believes.
Note this isn't about who has the best dog or biggest dog it's about learning how best to care for your dog, interacting with other dog owners and seeing how best to improve your dogs life.
