I disagree with your last sentence, it is not about who is not their person, it is about the permutation of when power will return back to them. If they Tinubu for another 4 years, then it means that power will go back to them (the north) for 8 years between 2031-2039 but if they another southerner who is not Tinubu in 2027, the person will also want to use 8 years and adding that to the 4 years Tinubu would have spent by 2027, it means that power would have been in the south for a continuous period of 12 years and won’t return to the north until 2035.
