2. The Largest Free Trade is under construction, it's larger that the Lekki Free Trade Zone. There will be a modular refinery there, A fertilizer Plant, An Oil Exploration Company (Already completed and operations ongoing), A gas Exploration (Already Functional)

3. Make Road Expansion & Dualization Projects

4. Upgrade of the Airport to International Standards and construction of MRO

5. The Deep Seaport is still in preliminary stage and construction is yet to commence

Pls I'd like to find out why Luxurious Buses (Marcopolo) do not travel during the day.

I have family who are plus sizes and wouldn't want to travel at night. The conventional 13-seater buses are usually very uncomfortable during long-distance travel and we're seriously searching for alternatives most especially Marcopolo Buses but it seems they don't travel in the day.

NLNG recruitment process takes quite some time. It could span between one to two years. If you are involved, wear patience like a cloak.

That's not a good reputation for such a great organization like NLNG, I hope they can improve and close out the recruitment process within a year at most.

Does anyone know why they're sending the test invites in batches? I mean it's an online test and it seems it's going to be SHL for everyone

Imagine someone who wrote in May and will have to wait till October/November before they're done ( I'm just assuming...)

It'll be more understandable if the batches come at the interview stage.

So this is a very strange story which I think about till this day.

It was October 1st 2019 and I am coming to Nigeria with Lufthansa from Manchester and the stopover is Frankfurt. And so we get to Frankfurt and we had to ride this trolley tram bus thingy to our terminal.

That’s where I saw this character. He was sat in front of me clutching a small handbag. That’s all he had On him. His eyes looked cold and dead like someone who has seen everything there is to see in life and he had checked out of humanity. He had like a long Islam goatee. Young guy, maybe early thirties. He sat there and clutched his bag and stared with that dead empty look. He wasn’t being deported. He was on a voluntary journey of his own. I watched him for a little while but then we got to the terminal and alighted and I never saw him again.

I took the flight to naija. Got the cab at the airport and started the journey to the Airbnb I had booked in magodo. It was an evening and up in the sky were stork birds and eagles and the atmosphere was dusty looking as the sun was setting. So as I was in the car on the express about 3 miles away from the airport I saw someone climbing the dividers of the express way and trying to cross over to the other side to the bus stop to catch a bus , I adjusted my eyes very well and guess who it was? It was the strange guy who sat in front of me on the tram-bus in Frankfurt. He had absolutely no luggage with him. He had just the same small bag I saw him with and he was in the same clothes

Till today I always wonder what that guys story is . Did he actually walk out voluntarily on his own out of Frankfurt with a tiny bag and walk into the streets of ojota with nothing but the same bag and dangerously crossing the expressway ? Was he remote controlled into Nigeria ? It’s a very strange episode. I think of that guy to this day

I didn't get an invite and I haven't received a rejection. Moreover my profile still reads 'In Progress' on thier portal.

Check the NNPC thread and you will see the calibre of people that attended the interviews; some of them are on this thread now!

And how did you know he 'failed' the interview like you know the cut off mark and all other cosiderations or something. Truth is that if the GMD wants his son to be recruited into NNPC today, the guy will get his appointment letter and there's nothing you or anyone here can do about it, let's stop these baseless assumptions.

From what I've gathered, the plan for the EH had changed. NNPC has been unbundled and as such to prevent any face off and hugh pay-off sums coupled with labour contentions, the staff of the less functional arm of the organisation were reposted to fill in vacant postions in other arms instead of bringing new hands and having reason to lay the old hands off. As it stands almost all the relevant staff in Port-Harcourt refinary have been posted out to other arms of the organisation and the process had started since 2020.

As for the contract staff no one is certain yet if they're going to absorbed them however that should be the most logical thing to do instead of bringing hands from outside and start another learning process.

Regarding this NCDMB, if you don't get any official response from the organisation by end of August then that recruitment process is completely canceled and everyone can should move on. That's the most I can say regarding this for now

Nobody is certain about anything with this recruitment, it's all speculations. Please let's desist from using strong affirmative statements and giving concrete timelines. We need to understand that this is a public forum hence various people tend to manage these informations differently.

The latter is correct. Everything is set. The ES hasn't been on seat for the past 2 weeks. We will hear from them anytime from now. My earlier position on April, 2022 hasn't changed to the best of my knowledge. Thank you.

You just can't resist the temptation of giving definite timelines, you're not ES and this is a public service role things are bound to change.

Everyone should just wait and be hopeful, whenever the mails drop it will drop.
