1. Demand X3 of your annual salary from your employer
2. Stop paying rent to your landlord infact block his/her number.
3. Go to big restaurants order food, when you finish eating observe the movement of the waiter who served you and sneak out through the back door.
4. If someone carries out a facility repair, do not pay them, I repeat do not pay them rather, tell them to call you tomorrow and as soon as they leave block their number.
5. Lastly, if you go to buy fuel at petrol station, fill your tank to the brim and zoom off as soon as you close your fuel cap.

Nb : do these at your own peril.

If you have other money saving tips, tag along lol

Hello,
I want to know if there is any Nigerian pastor who is genuine for a percentage of tithe on N50 million. A friend of mine is seriously looking for a good pastor to pay the tithes.

Please comment the name and numbers below.

I am here to encourage the new ones to shine their eyes.
Truth be told, the fact that you made an investment mistake doesn't make defending the same mistake right.

On the otherhand if you only invested using local currency, you are not really affected. There are bonds that matured 2 days ago but the cbn hasn't said a thing. The usual now is to keep investors funds for a month upon maturity and blame it on technical glitch. Someone/People are benefiting from these and the masses are the pigeons.

so why are you still here ?

Lol... The greatest mistake you will make is to invest all your funds in a sinking economy.

Imagine the millions of investors, the interest rate on N50b minimum multiplied by two weeks is already N14.5 million for the criminals

We sincerely apologize for the delay in the payment of your coupon.

We have received the below from CSCS this morning with regards to the payment.

Hopefully, this will be resolved today.

I just got off the phone with someone who works in the DMO (Debt management office). He said the Fédéral government is struggling to pay workers and local debt may be delayed or a default is possible.

So brace yourselves for the worst.

Does anyone here know any Nigerian Pastor who I can pay tithes to, I feel I have to contribute 10% of my last monthly income to any Nigerian pastor, I have N860k to pay right now which represents 10% of my last month's salary.

Also, is it advised to give the 860k to one pastor or to two pastors.
Please drop the details of any pastors you know below.

Well as you can't win it all. With knowledge on your side, you were able to diversify.

Now, imagine how over 200 million Nigerians without this knowledge and spare cash to buy dollar have been thrown into extreme misfortune.

Most of the rich knew about this and they multiplied their worth easily. So long as you live in Nigeria whether you earn in Pounds or Malaysian ringgit the devaluation affects you but then the worst set of people are thecones who have only Naira as currency.

skydiver01:
I am quite aware of the Naira's devaluation over 4 years. I am unaffected by it because of my dollar investments as far back as 15 years ago. The FGN bond coupons more than meets my annual expenses in Nigeria and that is super fine with me. Its called diversification. I have a well balanced diversified portfolio that includes FX investments that also pays both coupons and dividends in FX. Don't bother yourself about my FGN bond holdings. My FX investments has covered many times over the devaluation of my FGN Naira bonds you refer to. I am fine because of the benefits of having a diversified portfolio wink grin

Nice coupon but do you know that the capital of this investment has been devalued by over 383% from 2020 when dollar was at N365.

If you had bought dollar with the capital and held till now, you would have been a lot better.

Your N50m @ N365/$ in 2020 = $136,900, It is now worth N50m /N1400 in 2024 = $35,714.

You lost over $100,000 in 4 years and counting cry

skydiver01:
My was funded on 22 Jan, 2024 by the coupon payments of my FGN 2026 & 2034 bonds (compounding) wink

She knows exactly what I asked her to do. She needs to show that the person she is accusing actually used his WhatsApp number on Nairaland to request and receive the N150,000. Anything outside that unfortunately no further help can be offered.

host1034:
Which scammer's number are you looking for again after she had posted the number as well as the details the scammer used to scam her

TotoNaRubber: 12:04pm On Aug 31, 2023
Can you do a video recording of the WhatsApp conversation between you and the scammer, try to delete the saved scammer's name in your list so that we can all see the phone number while recording. Post the video on YouTube and share the link here for us to help you determine the scammer.
This will authenticate which number chatted you up exactly.

Are you saying the guy who you chatted here as the scammer uses two different numbers?

Moda1:
Till tomorrow,ur the scammer.
You are operating double identity . If u see any loophole , u scam the person . I will say it over and over again .
The 2 numbers i posted earlier is your own .. dont patronize me . The time u are transacting with Versatileve , is the same time u are scamming me . It no coincidence here . You are a low key scammer. Period!
TotoNaRubber: 6:48pm On Aug 30, 2023

Call Stanbic Customer service Asap, report the transaction as a SCAM.

Go to Police station tomorrow pay N5K or N10k collect police report, proceed to his bank and report it as Fraud (Tell his bank you are proceeding to social media to post the bank details) and his BVN will be flagged and blocked.

But you fuc.kk upo, why you go just send N150k to a stranger just like that?

Moda1:
Zacwale . He collected 150,000 from me just now to sell PayPal for me . Refund me he refused. PayPal i no see . He is a scammer

It's a skill, if I say what it is Nigerians will bombard it and that isn't something I'm ready to deal with.
I suggest you learn a skill and try to accomplish your tasks. People are really making money. When I include other channels it's actually N2.85 million just this month.

What and what did u do in "digital market" that earned u N2.1m this month?

TotoNaRubber: 3:32pm On Aug 27, 2023
Some people are making more than N10m per month. It depends on what you do.
Some content creators like MarkAngel are comfortably sitting on N5 to N10 million content materials per month.

Brokeness:
Good day nairalanders. I believe this is a great forum with lots of intelligent folks.. and that is why I have come to seek your counsel. Even though I haven't met anyone here but nairaland is like my online family

I think these are some key facts to note before you dish your advice (s). Here we go;

-I am a 23 years old male.
-I am the only son and eldest in a family of 2 and my dad is late.
-I am in 100 level (sponsored by my mum's relations) doing a 4 years course but sorry to say this, I don't rate school at all.. just there for the certificate (even though the course is highly rated)
-I am a pump attendant on a 25k salary (night work 7PM to 6AM) with one night off in a week.
-I have a nice USA used HP laptop that is laying idle in my room and my strong Tecno camon which can be used to learn some valuable skills.
-Lastly, I have the zeal to learn an online skill that can be very profitable in 3 to 6 months time and would stand the test of time in a long time to come; but I don't know which, how or where to start from. I seriously need to add another source of income (online) as this my current work is exhausting coupled with my schooling. No rest at all.

Pls my elders in the house, I sincerely need your advice at this critical point in my life. I don't want to make a grave mistake of not learning an online skill and be left out in the digital word. I don't want to continue forever in paid employment. It's no fun. I want to help myself and my family. I don't want to explain tire..

Kindly feel free to ask me whatever you may need to know. I will be reading from the comments. Thanks.

Hi Guys,

As you already know, due to CBN interventions, USD is currently crashing against the naira.

But guess what, the rate at which I buy PayPal funds ain't crashing...😊

I will buy your PayPal funds at a mouth-watery rate of 730/$

Chat me and let us deal.

You are not alone.
My regret is that only 92% of my assets is in Foreign currency, I should have done better even with all the signs that I saw throughout the years.
In the last few weeks, my Forex balance equivalent keep running into hundreds of millions like magic, I was like shuuu wetin be this.
I would've borrowed money in Naira to buy Forex, anyway still looking to buy dollar incase anyone wants to sell grin

RayRay06677:

Are you a teacher?

Thanks a million, I know this aspect but just love keeping naira, each time I plan to change like now it should be by November, I will still be hoping things will improve. Na village people do me she.

At my age I don't have up to 3k dolls,

Going forward, will secure the kids future with dollar investment while I play the patriotic card for my beloved country.

Thanks all for the awareness always
