You can withdraw the application and mend your ways, or risk it by still submitting your degree and UKVI IELTS.
I don't know much about this particular issue, but I am aware that Nigerian Universities are grouped into "tiers".
If that degree was gotten from some of the Universities in the Western Nigeria and you studied for 4years, it will be regarded to be equivalent.

But if you studied Engineering which are usually about 5years from other universities, you're still good to go.
(I am not sure it applies here, but if you won't be shaked by a denial, no harm in trying.

Do and tear the package. The vignette is what they stick on one of your port page as Entry clearance.

The successful mail is the same as the BRP mail, they already put the UK address you will be getting your BRP card in that PDF file. The formality remaining is for Tls to send you a mail for travel document pick up. Read that PDF file very well. You will find answers to all the questions you have there. Congratulations and May the new land favor you

The visa approval message is a PDF sent in the mail I received. That's why I'm asking whether it's just a visa-successful mail or the BRP.

Heading reads : 'important : Biometric Residence Permit" but in the content is a PDF which expresses the fact that my visa application was successful. You get?

I took a risk by booking for my flight in faith on the day I came back from my biometrics. At a point I was getting really scared but so glad it paid off.
Mail came for main applicant and 3 dependants at the same time . God is too much.

Not allowed, you are only allowed to go with your checklist.. only those that applied for assisted service can go with their document

With or without his documents, he will be allowed entrance, so long he has his email confirmation and checklist. At the gate, no one cares whether you're on assisted service or self-service.
Just ensure you have your email confirmation and checklist handy, and you're good to go..

1. Take them along, even if it's just the photocopies. Don't forget to make a print-out of your port datapage, as you will need it to be stapled to your checklist when it's time to pick up your port. Take your original port, payment confirmation email and checklist along as well. Take everything to be on the safe side!
2. You can pay for courier service there with your debit card. You will be asked at the reception if that's something you want before proceeding for your biometrics.
