JAMB’s Registrar, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, while in a meeting with proprietors of Computer Based Test (CBT) centres at the University of Lagos on Thursday said the t issions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) will no longer use cyber cafes for registration of candidates, beginning from the 2019 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).



“We are no longer going to allow the cyber cafes to do the registration exercise for prospective candidates because they are extorting candidates and overcharging them.

“They also do services they do not have the capacity to do, coupled with the fact that there was no way of tracking them because they are not ed.
“Another major reason is the mix-up they create on the data of the candidates. Some will just ask the candidates to write their names and other details down for them.

“On accumulating such data, they now get all of them mixed-up, thereby creating problems for these candidates.

“We know there will be uproar because they make a lot of illegitimate money from these services, but we cannot leave the candidates at their mercy.
“Particularly when people will make noise that it is JAMB that was extorting them,’’ he said.

The professor urged all prospective candidates to do their registration and access the board’s major services in any of its 718 accredited centres in the country.

Oloyede said the board would commence the sale of the registration form on Jan.3, 2019 and would span six weeks.

She is now currently now been detained in Oghara divisional police head quarters in Ethiope West local government of delta state Oghara Nigeria. Davido has been living all his life in Lagos. But, "NYSC post am, them still post am from Lagos to Lagos" whereas others even with health issues are sent faraway from beginning of Nigeria to the ending of Nigeria to serve. If service was all about serving where you live, then has the reason for the service not lost its taste already?

What happens to Kanu state, Delta state, Rivers State or Enugu State? Why can't he serve in one of those states like others who leave their states to serve there?

I like Davido. But, the double standards against the poor and the weak in Nigeria are unbearable. Nigeria is a country of the rich, to the rich and for the rich. Only the poor and weak suffer for everything. Even the constitution of Nigeria is the most irresponsible constitution the world has ever known.

Miracle Igbokwe has been declared the winner of the third season of Big Brother NaijaThe 24-year old Pilot and model scored 38.18 per cent of the votes to beat the closest housemate, Cee-C who grossed 28.04 per cent of the votes.

Starboy singer Wizkid who was well known for not being on the same page with his colleague Davido recently put a stop to their beef as they are now considered to be best of friends.


After a performance from Davido at Wizkid concert late last year, the favor was returned as Wizkid also performed with Davido at his 30Billion concert.

This moment is regarded by many as the most memorable of all the events that occurred last year because it was their first t performance in many years.

The lingering marital drama between Nollywood Actress, Tonto Dkeh and her ex- husband has taken another twist as Mr. Olakunle Churchill has filed a Suit at the family court of the Lagos State Magistrate court.


Thus, the Reality Show called “King Tonto” featuring King Andre cannot be released or aired.


This is said to be the first step to be taken by Mr. Churchill towards protecting his son’s rights as captured under the Child Rights Law of Lagos State.

Officials of Kuje Prisons were, on Thursday night, thrown panic for over one hour after it was discovered that Mr. Charles Okah, a leader of the Movement for the Emancipation of Niger Delta
(MEND), could not be found in his cell by warders on the night shift at about 8 pm. The situation led to a frantic search.

While prison officials were searching in panic, Okah was lying under his bed and had propped a dummy on his bed. The MEND leader was said to have taken the action because of prison officials' refusal to take him to the National Hospital, Abuja, where he was scheduled to run a battery of medical tests.


Prison sources told SaharaReporters that the Comptroller of Prisons, Federal Capital Territory Command, Mr. Sylvester Nwakuche, received a text message from the Directorate State Security (DSS) informing him that a man that looks like Mr. Okah was sighted boarding a vehicle at Gwagwalada area of the Federal Capital City. They also found a note from Mr.Okah, which he addressed to the Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Prisons Service.


Mr. Okah later emerged from under the bed to chide them for responding promptly to news of an escape but were reluctant to take him to hospital. Before Friday night's drama, Mr. Okah, who has previously stated that he donated a kidney to his mother 35 years ago, had complained that the Kuje Prison authorities were treating complaints about his health with levity.

It was reported sometimes around last year that popular Nigerian artiste, Dr Sid and his wife Simi Esiri, had unfollowed each other on Instagram, giving the public the insinuation that there was crisis in their marriage. This was however confirmed by the wife as she stopped wearing her wedding ring.

China has officially opened the longest glass-bottomed suspension bridge in the world. The bridge is located in the Hebei Province’s Hongyagu Scenic Area.

The bridge, which is definitely a test of a tourist’s bravery spans 488 meter (1,600 feet) over a vertical drop of 218 meters (715 feet). Tourists were spotted trooping to the bridge to have the idea of what it feels like walking at a height with a view of the earth underneath.
“Hongyagu glass suspension bridge marks the 2.0 era for China’s glass-bottomed bridge,” says Yang Minghua, the chairman of Hebei’s Bailu Group, which created the span linking two peaks in the mountainous region of northeastern China.

Emerged that the three-year-old marriage between former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode, and Precious Chikwendu has hit the rocks and threatening to explode in dramatic fashion, SaharaReporters has learned. But to cover up the atrocious abuse of his current wife, Mr. Fani-Kayode, who had had a hat-trick of marriages before meeting Precious, with whom he has a son has accused implicitly accused the federal government of planning to assassinate his wife, this was contained in the fake prophesy given by controversial priest, Apostle Suleman for 2018. In reality, unknown ro many Fani-Kayode had accused his wife of infidelity. The woman, disclosed family sources, is said to be pregnant with a set of triplets.

Wolf who stated that Melania Trump delayed moving to Washington in 2017 until son Barron was out of school for the summer, insinuated that the president and first lady have separate bedrooms, being the first, first couple to do so since John and Jackie Kennedy.
The writer hinted that it was Trump’s idea to have separate bedrooms.
He said that the US President also commanded that his bedroom be always under key and lock.
