whats special they will soon be bail with 2million each
bloodyBLOGGER:

Investigators at the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission said Monday they have uncovered evidence showing how prominent politicians, mostly from the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, allegedly shared N3.145billion in the build up to the last presidential election.

Named in the alleged bazaar are a former aviation minister and director of media for the Goodluck Jonathan Campaign organization, Femi Fani-Kayode; former Secretary to the Government of the Federation and leader of the Social Democratic Party, Olu Falae; a former finance minister, Nenadi Usman; a former Imo state governor, Achike Udenwa; former minister of state for foreign affairs, Viola Onwuliri and politician Okey Ezenwa
A source at the anti-graft agency, who pleaded not to be named because he was not authorized to speak on the matter, told TIMES the money was paid by the Central Bank Nigeria into the of the Ministry of External Affairs Library, from where it was moved into the of a private firm, t Trust Dimension Nigeria Limited.
“It was from the t Dimension’s with Zenith Bank that the money was shared to various individuals and organizations for purposes that are not stated,” the source said.
The sources described Mr. Fani-Kayode was the chief beneficiary of the disbursement as he allegedly received a whooping N840million, paid in three tranches into his Zenith Bank, Maitama branch, with number 1004735721.
The first tranche of payment involving N350million allegedly hit the on February 19, 2015.
Another N250milion was also said to have been paid into the on February 19, 2015, while N240million moved into the a month later, precisely on March 19, 2015.
The source disclosed that the balance on this as at December 31, 2015, was N189, 402.72.
Next to Fani-Kayode in the pecking order of alleged beneficiaries was Goodluck Group, which allegedly received N320million. The group was headed by Rufai Alkali, a professor and then special adviser on political matters to Mr. Jonathan
Mr. Falae, investigators said, received N100m through Marreco Limited, a company whose he chairs.
The fund was credited into the company’s United Bank for Africa Plc No. 1000627022 on March 25, 2014.
Both Achike Udenwa and Viola Onwuliri got N350million in two tranches. The first tranche of N150million was paid into their t with Zenith bank on January 13, 2015.
The second installment of N200miilion has credited to their with Diamond bank.
Nenadi Usman allegedly received N36.9million through her Zenith Bank no. 1000158311. Her branch of Zenith Bank is located at 7 Kachia Road, Kaduna.
Coming at the rear is Okey Ezenwa, who also pocketed N100million.
The sources disclosed that detectives are working to determine the real motive for the distribution of the funds.
“But as things stand, the fact that most of the payments were made in the weeks preceding the last presidential elections leaves very little to the imagination,” an investigator said.
When ed by TIMES, Mr. Fani-Kayode said the funds were paid into his by Nenadi Usman, who was the director of finance of the Goodluck Jonathan campaign.
The campaign asked me to open an for my campaign directorate, which I did,” Mr. Fani-Kayode said. “They then paid the money in for the assignment I was given. I asked them where the money came from. They said it was a private contribution for the Jonathan campaign. I believed them, and I had no way of knowing exactly where the money came from.
“As far as I’m concerned, it was campaign funds, and the money was used for the purpose for which it was meant. And we ed for it to the man who gave us a job to do, President Jonathan.”
Mrs. Usman could not be reached for comments. Her telephone was switched off the several times our reporter called.

Everyone in Kenya has been talking and screaming about these sex Orgy house parties, especially parents. These types of parties have become a trend among teens.

According to Mpasho News...

"One night to lose your mind", No one goes back home a virgin”, these are some of the ‘catchy’ words used in the “Project X” posters to attract as many teens as possible to attend a type of wild, daring parties that have become a trend among Kenyan teens.

In these parties, attendees ared allowed to do anything they want (by ANYTHING, they mean; drink like never before, have sex and do all ratchet things under one roof).

Below is an example of info on one of such parties’ flyers that recently littered the city of Nairobi..

“ON MARCH 12TH HISTORY WILL BE MADE… CHICS…DUDES AND A WHOLE LOT OF BOOZE. COME AND EXPERIENCE THE HOUSE PARTY EVERYONE IS TALKING ABOUT, NO RULES, NO REGULATIONS. CARRY YOUR OWN HIGH WHETHER HERBS, PILLS – EVERYTHING IS LEGAL”
This left parents and guardians fearing that their children might attend this “evil party” without their knowledge and have called upon the police to help them stop the event. The police of course responded. The “Project X” event was banned.

Kenyans are still in shock after news went viral that over 100 teens were arrested by the police some days back at a house party in Lang’ata. The teens aged 18-20, are said to have been celebrating one of their friends “academic achievements”. Some of the teens tried escaping the police drag net by jumping over an electric fence but the police caught up with them.

And it was just a few days after, some teens were also busted drunk and having sex in another house party.

Earlier on, we reported that there is currently widespread blackout in the country over the plummeting power generation which recently has dropped to 1, 580.6 megawatts.

The reason for the drop is said to be the after effects of pipeline vandalisation, plus the partial collapse of the Shiroro power plant.

Nigerians who have endured days of no electricity have taken to social media to protest and also call out the Power Minister Tunde Fashola for the promises he made after he resumed office.

“This is not what you promised,” a Twitter cried out, and others have also criticised the President’s penchant for traveling, adding that the nation is fast crumbling before their eyes.

I think the game will end in a goalless draw (0:0) being that both teams will be playing a cautious game.

Fresh from g a mouthwatering deal with international music label, Sony Music Entertainment, pop sensation, Davido has floated a new record label.

Aptly named ‘Davido Worldwide Music’, the need to float the new record label according to the ‘Aye’ crooner was necessary following his new recording and distribution deal with Sony Music.

Speaking with ERAVE on the new project Davido disclosed that he cannot sign any international deal without a verifiable and known company.

“I cannot sign an international deal without a company. Since I cannot sign as Davido, I ed the ‘Davido Worldwide Music’ label. It is a company managed separately by myself, my manager, my executive producer and HKN for my international endeavours.”
“The Sony deal doesn’t affect HKN label in any way. Sony Music relates with Davido’s new record label for the international market. Don’t go and write Davido leaves HKN because I don’t want my brothers to come after me,” he added jokingly.
You will recall that Davido penned a music deal with Sony Music in January 2016. The 2 album deal is a recording and distribution deal which will allow for the publishing and global distribution of intellectual materials from the ‘Skelewu’ crooner by Sony Music Entertainment.
His label, HKN Gang which he co owns with his elder brother, Adewale Adeleke is home to music acts such as Sina Rambo, B-Red, Danagog, Deekay and the newly signed Mayorkun....

I always hoped my first topic on here would be one where I eventually share this testimony!! Alas, here we are, it is finally dawned!

Couple of months back, I had commented on a post about how I quit my job cos of the hitches I had to through in the name of working in a bank!!!

Anyways all past now, today I have been made an even better offer and I'm just here to put out a word of encouragement or two:

- if u ever feel choked, if you ever feel the job is working for you no more, no value is being added to your life, you're not shining like the star you feel you should, the job conditions are becoming life threatening and above all no clear cut career path or destination ur headed for and if u as an outlier do no want to see urself being just the same in a space of years, then by all means, take a leap of faith, take a bold step, do the needful, make a decision n stand for it! It might be a tough one considering our Nigerian scene but I know this; all things worketh for the good of them who believe... Never stop believing and never give up hope u'd find an even better deal cos u eventually will... just trust in God, cos with Him nothing, absolutely nothing is impossible...

I wish all the very best and thanks to all the mods and everyone who makes it a point of duty to post genuine job adds on here...

Thank you Seun Osewa for this forum.... It has helped lives...

HMMMMMMMM
cramjones:
It was with a heavy heart that I heard about the death of Minister Ocholi and family. It is indeed a tragic news to his immediate family, the Federal Executive Council, the APC-led government, and most especially, the people of Nigeria who lost a first class asset. He would surely be missed.

Beyond Minister Ocholi's death, what many Nigerians did not know was that on the same day more than 100 other people died as a result of car crashes in Nigeria. Using the World Health Organization's recent data, Nigeria has one of the worst road traffic safety record, ranking 149th out of 184 countries studied by the World Health Organization. Why is this so? And what can we do to reduce these fatalities? We can certainly do a lot more to improve safety on our roads. While acknowledging that we all need to play our parts by wearing seat belts, driving within speed limits, obeying traffic signs etc. I would want to point out the most expedient commonsense things the Nigerian government must do to keep all of us safe and reduce this abysmal record.

1. Simple - Fix the roads! It seems to me from the narration about James Ocholi's case, there was a tire burst which led the SUV to somersault. There are many "death traps" on our roads. We have been relegated to being called "expert drivers" only if we develop techniques to dodge pot holes at high speed! I drove from Jos to Abuja recently and saw a Vetra sedan car who had just ed our SUV slip into a pot hole swerved off the road and caught fire. All engers in the car, numbering about four were tragically burnt to ashes. It was one of the most horrific sights I have seen. It is no fluke that countries in the Western Hemisphere averages 6 per 100,000 fatalities and we stand at about 618 per 100,000 fatalities attributable to road crashes. To digress a bit, maternal mortality in Nigeria is same number as road fatalities, that is about 600 deaths per 100,000 live births, however, that is story for another day. If our government constantly fail to fix our highways, expand them and enforce traffic rules on its usage, the numbers would only go up, as population increases.

2. Paramedics/Road side emergency response: An image that tells the whole story, was the horrific image of Minister Ocholi's body covered with leaves. Most times during accidents like this all you see is a crowd gathered, with their hands on their heads muttering things like "Jesus!" "Chineke!" "This life!", others get busy with fanning the victims of the accidents. Some even get themselves entangled with the accident victims getting stained with their blood and carrying them carelessly sometimes even inadvertently severing a fractured C4 or C5 spine and killing the victim. My point is, we don't even have a clue of what first aid it. One would have thought that with the Boko Haram insurgency, the government would have created a program to deal with bomb and road fatalities. None of that exists. There is just nothing. According to the American Society for Orthopedic and Trauma Surgeons, over 50% of road traffic accident victims can survive if they get medical attention between 7 - 10 minutes. Are FRCS trained in advanced trauma and life ? Do their vehicles have facilities for emergency transfusions, minor surgical procedures on sight etc? This must change. And if the Buhari government and the Minister of Health seeks to gain any mileage in the CHANGE agenda, Minister Ocholi's death should at least spur some form of political will to change the status quo.

3. Hospitals: It was said that the Minister's wife who was in critical condition, and was rushed to the near by hospital, called Doka Hospital. As someone described the hospital to me, "that hospital is a S***t hole, it is worse than a refuse bin". We are good in building new buildings, but bad with building systems. The state of our health care is so dysfunctional, that even if you go to a hospital the broken system either do not even have any capacity whatsoever to help, some who have very little capacity, drive their patients away in the name of referrals. A survey done just last year by USAID on 15 Nigerian teaching hospitals, showed that none had defibrillators in their casualty departments. We must again reexamine how we ought to build a working health care system. Granted, some can afford to fly to , and would careless about our hospitals, however, Minister Ocholi's wife death reminds us that in medicine, some things cannot wait. It needs urgent, emergent care. A 6 hour air ambulance flight to cannot save at that point.

I wish the Ocholi family the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss, and I hope the Government of President Mohammadu Buhari will learn a thing or two from this traggic event.

God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
