camelot: hmm, interesting perspective. i never saw it that way. so, what you're saying is that these women will do everything possible to make the marriage work even if there's infidelity in the marriage? if that's true then maybe i should find me a single mother to marry and maybe, just maybe i might be able to get away with infidelity since i now know she's wiser and would do anything (enduring my infidelity crap) to make the marriage work.

The question here is did the woman camped the two men and had sex with the second man just after SEVEN minutes ? @kshow1 and Temmey, did you two read the article at all? it clearly stated that she had the twins seven minutes apart not sleep with the guys seven minutes apart as you thought. just thought u two might want to know. the story goes to show the true human nature. though women are always quick to jump on our throats and call us dogs, liars, cheaters, and so on but it's funny that not one of these women on NL have said anything about this. on the other hand, i don't think this couple should have made this known to the whole world as it's more of a personal family issue. it's obvious there's some other motive behind this move; $$$ of course! kai! our people's hypocrisy and holier-than-thou attitude never cease to amaze me sha. see as everyone (except a handful) don crucify the guy finish like say hin kill pesin. and to think that some people are even wishing that the guy contracts HIV is frightening to me. . .these na the same people wey go open mouth, run go church go call and worship God on Sundays. i just can't phantom why people take things very personally here on NL and start raining abuses on the person in question. wetin the guy do wey other people never do before sef? ok, he's a celebrity, so what? he's also a human being like you and i. . . a fact that most people tend to forget. what kills me is that most of the people cursing the bobo out probably have less than perfect lives themselves; just like someone noted earlier, na inferiority complex they worry some people here. and for the record, na 5 children from 3 women and one of those women had 3 of the 5 children. so, it's not as if the bobo just dey carry bele give every woman hin nack like una dey make am be. did he act irresponsibly? absolutely, but he's a grown man and hopefully he's learned his lessons. having said that, it's also nobody's business what he does with his private life and we're certainly not any position to judge him. na wa o! i wonder wetin go become of most of una wey dey abuse the guy if to say God wey una dey call dey come down hard on every mistake wey una don make for una life as una dey come down hard on this bobo. just something for una to think about before una start to dey open una 32 dey chastise person. you can restore any brand of PC to the factory settings as long as you have or have created a recovery disc when you first purchased the PC. just out of curiosity, may i ask why you want to revert your PC back to the factory settings? Peace! |

@ OP, yes you can safely do that with a third party software or vista. like somebody already stated, the partition utility in vista limits the size you can have, which is why i'm not too fond of it. partition magic is good but keep in mind that it's not free and i'm sure there will be limitations on the trial copy (if any). on the other hand, there's a free alternative to partition magic called EASEUS Partition Master for home s. it's compatible with both XP and Vista and it's very intuitive. . . make sure you back up your important files before you try to resize your hard drive o! good luck! |

more than likely the problem is with the driver from your PCMCIA card (just mere speculation here) because the stop error only occurs when you insert it like you said. if you can write down the stop error code (it's in hexadecimal or jibberish to an average person) you receive and the message (it's usually on the 3rd or 4th line, can't ) you see on that line, that would be helpful in trying to resolve the problem. it's usually a short, somewhat meaningless message. come back and post it. oh, don't format again! PAPABOMBOY: obviously, you're missing the point here! and since that's the case, let me help you out cause i know some of us are that slow. what i pointed out was someone trying to be who he's not. in other words, he could have stuck with the pidgin english he was speaking in the beginning rather than trying to sound like an american instead of a nigerian, which we all should be proud to be in the first place. what's more, he was even cursing for no apparent reason all for the sake of trying to sound american, which is not cool. an average american (regardless of the race) doesn't go around cursing and thinks that's cool. No, that's not cool! that's being GHETTO! why you had to interject race into this still baffles me. i guess to you, pointing out something that's inappropriate and unnecessary makes that person an "oyinbo ass-licker" abi? {shakes head} what a moronic statement! na only on NL sha. . . busi-bodi: and what has gullibility have to do with this. . .i'm curious to know your reasoning behind that remark. |

what a tragedy this is and my heart goes out to the families of the deceased. having said that, i think OP is missing the point some of the posters were trying to raise here, which is: until we change our MENTALITY on how we view and handle situations, we will never progress in naija. this incident could have been averted had people nearby come to her aid. it's true she could have suffered a heat stroke from being exposed to the sun for such a long period of time but on the other hand, she could have died of some other causes just like someone mentioned. my question now is how is the government solely responsible for people lining up for hours to purchase fuel. . .i don't get it. is it not individual citizens like you an i that are responsible for the distribution of the fuel? hence, the scarcity and price hike of fuel. i'm not arguing the fact that our leaders have failed and continue to fail the country but to blame the govt. for this unfortunate incident is IMO ludicrous. should people be lining up for hours to purchase fuel? no, but at the same time could anyone have tried to help that woman? i'll leave that up for pondering, OP. what's cool about this video is how fluent and somewhat proficient this oyinbo bobo be with pidgin English considering he's a foreigner. on the other hand, what i find not only uncool but distasteful is the naija guy in the background trying too hard to talk like an American. cursing and carrying on like it's cool. here we have a foreigner embracing our culture while this American-wanna-be is making a darn fool of himself trying to sound American despite hin thick naija accent. *shakes head in disbelief* some people sha. . . olodo buruku! |

@ OP, i have bad news for you. you're somewhat stuck with the German text on the laptop because MS only provided an MUI (multilingual interface) pack files for Vista Ultimate and Enterprise editions. you can try to MUI from the url i provided above but i doubt if it will solve your problem. your other option is to try and reinstall Vista and see if it will present you with a language option whereby you can choose English (i doubt it but it won't hurt to try) or just go ahead and shell out some dough for a new English copy of Vista Home Prem.  sorry, not much help there.@ dammy1102, thanks; forgot about the OS entirely.
